  • XML 기반의 CDA는 의료정보 데이터로써 환자의 개인정보, 과거 의료정보, 가족기록 및 검사기록 등 의료정보를 저장한다. 의료정보 데이터는 병원 시스템간에 교환 및 공유함으로써 양질의 의료서비스를 제공되고 데이터베이스에 저장되어 관리된다. 그러나 다양한 의료정보는 의료정보 문서 자체의 크기를 증가시키기 때문에 데이터베이스에 저장 시 공간증가와 저장시간 그리고 데이터의 전송 시 송,수신 시간을 증가한다. 따라서 의료정보 문서의 크기를 감소시켜 문서 처리시간을 단축시킴으로써 처리 효율성을 증가시킨다.

A Tone Mapping Algorithm Based on Multi-scale Decomposition

  • High dynamic range (HDR) images can present the perfect real scene and rich color information. A commonly encountered problem in practical applications is how to well visualize HDR images on standard display devices. In this paper, we propose a multi-scale decomposition method using guided filtering for HDR image tone mapping. In our algorithm, HDR images are directly decomposed into three layers:base layer, coarse scale detail layer and fine detail layer. We propose an effective function to compress the base layer and the coarse scale detail layer. An adaptive function is also proposed for detail adjustment. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm effectively accomplishes dynamic range compression and maintains good global contrast as well as local contrast. It also presents more image details and keeps high color saturation.

신장에서 발생한 신경모세포종 1예 (A Case of Intrarenal Neuroblastoma)

  • Neuroblastoma arises from the embryonic tissue of the adrenergic rest. It is commonly found in children and mostly in nonrenal tissue. We present a case of intrarenal neuroblastoma which was initially thought to be a Wilms' tumor. The patient was a 18 months-old girl treated with radical nephrectomy and adjuvant chemotherapy after operation. The neoplasm within the kidney in children cannot always indicate Wilms' tumor. Neuroblastoma of the adrenal gland or retroperitoneal tissue may often compress or invade the kidney directly or arise from the kidney. Clinical aspects that differentiate between neuroblastoma and Wilms' tumor are discussed with a review of the literatures.

  • 본 논문에서는 TDM 및 TDM/WDM 혼합형 광 ATM 스위치 구조에서 핵심 기능모듈인 광 셀 압축기와 역압축기를 새로이 제안하였다. 제안된 구조는 압축 및 역압축시 SOA 게이트와 광 궤환루프를 적용함으로써 구현을 위한 하드웨어를 줄였으며, 소수의 단을 직렬연결시 대용량의 광 펄스열을 압축 및 역압축할 수 있다. 제안된 광셀 압축기 구조를 이용한 4비트 단위 광 펄스 압축실험을 통해 시스템 적용을 구체화하였다.

  • In an emergency telemedicine system such as High-quality Multimedia based Real-time Emergency Telemedicine(HMRET) service, it is very important to examine the status of the patient continuously using the multimedia data including the biological signals(ECG, BP, Respiration, $SpO_2$) of the patient. In order to transmit these data real time through the communication means which have the limited transmission capacity. It is also necessary to compress the biological data besides other multimedia data. For the HMRET service, we developed the lossless biological signal compression program in MSVC++ 6.0 using DPCM method and JPEG Huffman table, and tested in an internet environment.

  • In this paper, vibration mode of Windmill type Ultrasonic Motors was analysed. We used the ANSYS program to analysis by FEM. Vibration Mode express 20 modes as each resonance frequency. We bind nearly same modes and compress 5 modes. Windmill type Ultrasonic Motor's rotation is generated the friction of rotor at top endcap. Thus, We will find the best driving frequency that generating large friction at top endcap.

  • This article contains the development of FPC bonder that used for repair or trial product. Nowadays, in FPO module process (including PDP) accept the thermo-compress bonding method when attach FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit Board), TCP(Tape Carrier Package) and COF(Chip on the FPC) by ACF(Anisotropic Conductive Film). This system consists of ACF attachment part, pre-bonding part, main bonding part, loading / unloading part. This composition is a stand-alone system, not an in-line system. Hereafter, this composition should be developing into in-line system in all area of FPD industry.

  • Endoscopy has become a crucial diagnostic and therapeutic procedure in clinical areas. Over the past three years, we have developed a computerized system to record and store clinical data pertaining to endoscopic surgery of laparascopic cholecystectomy, pelviscopic endometriosis, and surgical arthroscopy. In this study, we developed a computer system, which is composed of a frame yabber, a sound board, a VCR control board, a LAN card and EDMS(endoscopic data management software. Also, computer system has controled peripheral instruments such as a color video printer, a video cassette recorder, and endoscopic input/output signals(image and doctor's comment). Digital endoscopic data management system is based on open architecture and a set of widely available industry standards, namely: windows 3.1 as a operating system, TCP/IP as a network protocol and a time sequence based database that handles both images and doctor's cotnments. For the purpose of data storage, we used MOD and CD-R. Digital endoscopic system was designed to be able to store, recreate, change, and compress signals and medical images.

  • In this paper, we devised a simple portable digital recorder for a day life ECG signal recording. The system are consisted of ECG amp. part, signal conditioning part. A/D converter, data compression part and digital memory part. An ADPCM algorithm used at data compress part for 50% of data reduction. The maximum lengths of recording times take 3 hours in 1 mega byte memory.

  • In this paper, multi pulse excited-linear predictive coding (MPE-LPC), where the correlation eliminated residual signal is modeled by a few pules, is shown to be effective for the compression of electrocardiogram (ECG) data, and a more efficient scheme for a faithful reconstruction of ECG is proposed. The reconstruction charateristic of QRS's and P.T waves is improved using the adaptive pulse allocation (APA), and the compression ratio (CR) can be changed by controlling the mumber of modeling pulses. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated using 10 normal and 10 abnormal ECG data. The proposed method had a better performance than the variable threshold amplitude zone time epoch coding (AZTEC) algorithm and the scan-along polygonal approximation (SAPA) algorithm with the same CR. With the CR in kthe range of 8:1 to 14:1, we could compress ECG data efficiently.
