배합비에 따른 혼합토의 비중 산정 (Estimation of Specific Gravity of Soil Mixture)

  • There are lots of soft ground improvement methods which is consist of different materials. In the analysis and design, composite ground method is usually regarded. Composite ground method considers the area replacement ratio as a key parameter to combine the physical and mechanical characteristics of tow different material. In this study, using composite material consist of three different materials which have different diameters, series of specific gravity test were performed according to KS F 2308, to investigate the applicability of composite ground method. As a result, it is found that composite material which is consist of fine grained soil and granular soil has a high applicability of composite ground method. This result means that, in estimating of ground properties of composite material which is consist of similar fine grained material such as cement mixing etc., composite ground method has a less applicability.

샌드파일 설치지반에서의 복합지반효과 (A Study on Composite Ground Effects of Sand Piles)

  • Sand pile is one of the widely used ground improvement methods. Sand pile improved ground will have composite ground effects, even though the primary purpose is the accelerated consolidation. However, the consolidation of sand pile improved ground as a composite ground is substantially under developed. This study investigate the effect of composite ground for relatively low volume displacement sand piles. Plate bearing tests and earth pressure cell measurements are performed. It turned out that the contribution of sand pile as a load bearing mechanism is not substantial. However the bearing capacity of the surrounding clayey soil is increased by sixty percent, and it cause the stiffness change during consolidation. Therefore it is expected that, the effect of increased stiffness of sand pile improved ground is influenced by change of ground stiffness.

  • Sand compaction pile (SCP) method is composed of compacted sand pile inserted into the soft clay deposit by displacement method. SCP-reinforced ground is composite soil which consists of the SCP and the surrounding soft soil. When a surcharge load is applied on composite ground, time-dependent behavior occurs in the soft soil due to consolidation according to radial flow toward SCP and stress transfer also takes place between the SCP and the soft soil. This paper presents the numerical results of cylindrical composite ground that was conducted to investigate consolidation characteristics and the stress transfer mechanism of SCP-reinforced composite ground. The results show that the consolidation of soft clay has a significant effect on the stress transfer mechanism and stress concentration ratio of composite ground

삼축압축시험을 통한 복합지반의 전단강도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Shear Strength of Composite Ground with Triaxial Test)

  • This study performs a series of Triaxial Compression Test for clay-sand composite specimens changing area replacement ratio. Purpose of the test is to conform the propriety of weighted average method in estimating shear strength of the composite ground. The test results show that measured values of shear strength of composite specimens are larger by 20∼30% than those from estimation using the current weighted average method. It is thought that the differences are from pseudo-overconsolidation behavior of composite specimens.

  • Crushed Stone Pile(CSP) is one of the ground improvement methods available to loose sand and clayey ground by forming compacted CSP in the weak soil layer. The effects of this method are enhancement of ground bearing capacity, reduction of settlement and prevention of lateral ground movement in cohesive layer, reduction of liquefaction potential in sandy ground. This study performs model tests in 1.0m${\times}$1.0m${\times}$1.0m and 1.5m${\times}$1.5m${\times}$l.2m model tank to observe bearing capacity of CSP treated ground. The area replacement ratio of CSP composite ground varies 20%, 30% and 40% with square grid pattern. After the composite ground was consolidated under pressure of 0.5kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and 1.0kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$, load tests were carried out. The results show that ultimate bearing capacity increases with area replacement ratio and the preconsolidation pressure of ground.

  • In this study, a series of laboratory tests based on 'Unit-cell concept' are performed to investigate improvement characteristics of clay ground in sand compaction pile method. Settlement reduction characteristics of composite ground and improvement characteristics of clay part could be qualified. In these procedure, the new strain-compression index($C_{\epsilon}$) of composite ground are adopted to show compressibility of composite ground according to the area replacement ratio, which is similar to the compression index($C_c$) in pure clay ground. Also, using normalization of reduction of water content in composite ground to the initial water content, improvement characteristics of clay part are investigated.

  • SCP 개량지반은 연약지반에 타설된 모래말뚝과 주변 연약지반으로 구성된 복합지반을 형성한다. 복합지반에 상재하중이 작용할 경우, SCP쪽으로 반경방향의 흐름에 의하여 시간의존적인 압밀거동이 유발될 뿐만 아니라, SCP와 주변 연약지반 사이에서 강성도 차이로 인하여 응력전이가 유발된다. 본 논문은 SCP 개량지반의 압밀거동에 대한 교란효과의 영향을 고려하기 위하여 원통형 실린더 지반에 대한 수치해석을 수행하였다. 수치해석결과 연약지반의 교란영역은 유효응력-간극수압의 거동, 응력전이기구, 응력분담비에 영향을 줌을 알 수 있었다. 또한 SCP와 점토 사이의 응력전이량은 상부 z/H=0.25에서 가장 크며, 깊이가 증가함에 따라 감소한다. 응력분담비는 상수값이 아니라 압밀과정에 의존하며, 교란영역을 가진 연약지반의 응력분담비는 교란영역이 없는 연약지반의 응력분담비보다 큼을 알 수 있다.

SIG공법에 의한 구조물기초지반에서의 복합지반개량 평가 (Evaluation of Composite Ground Improvement at Structural Foundation Ground by Super Injection Grouing)

  • In this paper, when structures are constructed in the soft ground with poor bearing capacity at Incheon International Airport(railroad area), as for the grouting columns built In soft ground by high pressure jet grouting with Triple tube rod(super injection grouting), the effects on reinforcement and bearing capacity of ground are investigated. A unconfined compressive strength tests has been performed on the specimens sampled from the grouting columns and a mass plate bearing test has been performed on a grouting column. The test results show that super injection grouting has a sufficient effect on composite ground improved of foundation ground and reatraint of settlement of structure.

접지시스템의 부식 방지를 위한 CNT/PVDF 복합막의 내부식 특성 (Anti-corrosion Property of the CNT/PVDF Composite Coating Films for Preventing the Corrosion of the Ground System)

  • In this paper, we propose a enhanced anti-corrosion property of the ground system by coating the CNT/PVDF composite film on it. Polymer material used for preventing the corrosion of ground system is polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), and conducting filler for obtaining conductivity of the composite film is multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). The MWCNTs were dispersed in the organic solvent of methyl ethyl ketone 2-butanone (MEK) with different concentration ratios, and the PVDF was solved in the MEK solvent with constant concentration ratio of 1 wt%. The CNT/PVDF composite solution was perpared by mixing and re-dispersing the CNT solution and the PVDF solution. Finally, the CNT/PVDF composite films were fabricated by the spray coating method using the above composite solution. Electrical conductivity, surface states, and anti-corrosion property of the CNT/PVDF composite films coated on the Cu substrate were evaluated. We found that the CNT/PVDF composite film showed relatively low resistance, hydrophobic surface state, and chemical stability. Consequently, we could improve the anti-corrosion property and maintain the electrical conductivity of the ground system by coating the CNT/PVDF composite film on it.

면적치환비가 작은 샌드파일 설치지반에서의 복합지반효과 (Composite Ground Effects on Small Area Replacement Ratio of Sand Piles)

  • 샌드파일 공법은 연약지반 개량을 위해 널리 사용되는 방법중의 하나이다. 샌드파일 설치에 의해 얻고자 하는 주된 목적은 압밀촉진에 있으나 이와 더불어 복합지반효과를 지니게 된다. 본 연구에서는 상대적으로 면적 치환비가 작은 연직배수재로서 적용된 샌드파일 설치지반에서의 복합지반효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 원지반과 샌드파일의 지내력 확인을 위한 평판재하시험을 실시하였으며, 성토체와 지반과의 상호거동을 확인하기 위하여 토압계를 설치하여 계측관리를 실시하였다. 분석결과 면적치환비가 작은 샌드파일 설치지반에서 복합지반을 고려한 지지력은 원지반의 지지력과 비교하여 매우 작은 증가효과를 보였다. 그러나 원지반과 비교한 샌드파일 설치위치에서의 지지력 증가는 약 60% 로 나타났다. 이와 같이 샌드파일의 강성증대에 의한 파일설치 위치에서의 지지력 증대는 재하하중 작용에 의한 압밀진행 과정중 압밀특성 변화의 요인으로 작용하게 될 것이다. 따라서 샌드파일 강성증대에 따른 복합지반효과는 샌드파일 설치지반에서 압밀침하량이 감소하는 요인으로 평가될 수 있는 것으로 판단된다.
