  • Recently the problems related to the failure of the retaining wall structure has become great concern since the damage to the properties and human losses have occurred in the rainy season. However, a detail guideline on safety inspection and appropriate diagnosis on the retaining wall structure have not yet proposed and therefore, the inspection process and results are mainly dependant upon the engineers. The objective of this study is to propose objective and quantitative evaluation method for the condition based on the damage shapes and material types. In this purpose, composing materials of retaining wall are divided Into concrete, gabion, stone and reinforced earth, and then the evaluation items and method are suggested on the basis of the materials and structural characteristics of the retaining wall.

  • The modern multimedia applications which are video processor, video conference or video phone and so forth require real time processing. Because of a large amount of image data, those require high compression performance. In this paper, the prosposed image processing encoder was designed by using wavelet transform encoding. The proposed filter block can process imae data on the high speed because of composing individual function blocks by parallel and compute both highpass and lowpass coefficient in the same clock cycle. When image data is decomposed into multiresolution, the proposed scheme needs external memory and controller to save intermediate results and it can operate within 33MHz.

  • Nowadays, the web service was based on composing the e-business and distributed computing environment. But existing workflow management systems have many problems with the interoperability between companies because they are made before most web services. For these problems, the workflow based composition language such as the Business Process Execute Language for Web Services (BPEL4WS or BPEL) appeared in expressing the web service composition. In this paper, we present an event based rule management system architecture that executes automatically the BPEL using the Event-Condition-Action (ECA) rules. The event based rule management system consists of the event manager, rule manager, and Jess. The Jess is the part of executing and deciding the condition.

  • The Servo motor is consistent with the magnet rotor, winding, magnetic back iron and the sensor. Especially the soft magnetic back iron in the servo motor, which consists of the magnet rotor and winding, and between these two components lies the magnetic circle. Its important to monitor the output power of to make conclusive decision for designs. In these days main household electrical appliances, business machinery and tools are made by process of miniaturization. Because of this miniaturization in hardware, miniaturization of the servo motor is essential But the decrease inside affects the power output. For improve of these has been several attempt at improving the power output of these smaller servo motors. There has been experiment in the servo motor composition, composing of the improvement of the soft magnetic back iron through comparison of the out put power plans are being made.

체계개발 사업의 효과적인 기술성숙도 평가방법에 대한 연구 (A Study on The Effective Technology Readiness Assessment Method for System Development Project)

  • In this study, the effective technology readiness assessment (TRA) method for system development project is suggested. We analyze the domestic and foreign TRA practice and derive the new idea to resolve the problems found from the analysis. Domestic and foreign organizations develop and use checklist for the precise TRA, but the checklist has some problems in type of questions and analysis of assessment. TRA method using the original TRL definition or the checklist should be selected depending on the project characteristic. Questions of the checklist should be classified into critical or non-critical according to their importance. Finally, Test and evaluation master plan (TEMP) in system engineering process can provide an obvious criteria to assess technology readiness level (TRL) of critical technology elements (CTE) composing the system.

  • Architecture should deviate from euclidean ideas of abstract space while helping to accommodate individual perceptions and experiences of a given space. Concepts for making space should be cognitively processed. The process of gathering information from the environment represents a new spatial concept as expressed in the cognitive structural relationship between the environment and the individual as the subject of architecture. Additionally, the cognitive experience of space is primarily perceived visually, and visual perception is the basis for information-gathering and decision-making. Therefore architecture should be excluded from the conceptual focus on the existing space design rules, being expressed instead in experimental architectural spaces connected to subjective human experience. While some research has been done on this topic regarding architecture, further study is required in the area of interior design. This study proposes the possibility of composing effective living space through an investigation of cognitive space concept theory and expression elements, and includes a case study of Interior architectural spatial analysis.

The Design and Study of Virtual Sound Field in Music Production

  • In this paper, we propose a thorough solution for adjusting virtual sound field with different kinds of devices and software in preliminary procedure and late stage of music processing. The basic process of music production includes composing, arranging and recording at pre-production stage as well as sound mixing and mastering at post-production stage. At the initial stage of music creation, it should be checked whether the design of virtual sound field, the choice of the tone and the instrument used in the arrangement match the virtual sound field required for the final work. In later recording, mixing and mastering, elaborate adjustments should be done to the virtual sound field. This study also analyzed how to apply the parameter of the effectors to the design and adjustment of the virtual sound field, making it the source of our creation.

  • 정부를 비롯한 공공부문에 정보기술이 도입된 것은 어제 오늘의 일이 아니다. 그러나 정부에서 지금까지 하드웨어와 투입 중심으로 전개된 정보화의 영향력은 민간에 비해 빨리 실현되지 못하였고, 공공부문의 업무방식에는 근본적인 변화가 별로 나타나지 못했다. 이제 전자문서의 활용은 공공사무의 처리 및 업무의 능률성을 향상시키고 수작업 절차를 간소화함으로써 효율적인 관리를 가능하게 한다. 따라서 전자적 사무관리체계의 활성화를 위해 종이문서위주의 업무처리 관행의 축소, 전자문서화 촉진을 위한 기관 내적 기반 조성. 네트워크 연계를 통한 원격근무체계 등이 추진되어야 한다.

  • The purposes of this study are to see a manufacturing process on knit by comparison, and to present whole garment knitting machine different from the traditional method of the production by using the whole garment system. The characteristics of each stage were examined through SDS-one, Shimaseiki Design CAD System and the whole garment knitting machine. The whole garment knitting machine as a method of composing a suit of knitting product is a way of making creative knitting fashion, which also can be used as a basic material for the further study on the whole garment knitting machine. Eventually, it is expected that this machine can satisfy the knit wearers' various needs by showing more useful method to knit designers.

  • While the comparatively high MW would make the employed molecules extremely difficult to vacuum-evaporate, and result in poor device performance, the wet-process has been proven to be quite effective and convenient as usual to the fabrication of high-efficiency OLEDs composing high MW components.
