다중 주파수 IP 자료를 이용한 SIP 변수 추정 (A new algorithm for SIP parameter estimation from multi-frequency IP data: preliminary results)

  • 광대역 유도 분극 (spectral induced polarization, SIP) 탐사는 일정 주파수 영역에서 임피던스 자료를 측정하고, 이 자료로부터 광대역 주파수 특성을 추정하기 위한 주파수 분석으로 이루어진다. 지하매질에 대한 광대역 주파수 특성을 정확하고 정량적으로 추정하기 위해서는 기존의 방법보다 정교하고 안정적인 역산 알고리듬이 필요하다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 SIP 변수의 공간적인 분포를 계산하기 위하여 두 단계로 이루어진 역산 알고리듬을 개발하였다. 첫 번째 단계에서 각각의 주파수 자료에 대한 복소 전기비저항들 사이에 제한조건을 가하여 모든 SIP 탐사자료를 한꺼번에 역산한다. 새로운 제약조건은 각각의 주파수 자료들로부터 역산된 복소 전기비저항들이 모두 유사한 특성을 보일 것이라는 가정을 통해 역산 과정에서의 잡음 특성을 향상시킬 수 있는 특정을 가진다. 수치 실험을 통하여 이 연구에서 채택한 상호 제한 조건은 역산 과정상의 인위적인 잡음을 성공적으로 제거하고 있음을 확인하였다. 두 번째 단계로서 이전 단계에서 얻어진 각각의 주파수에 대한 복소 전기비저항 자료로부터 SIP 변수의 공간적인 분포를 계산하기 위하여, Cole-Cole 모델을 이용하여 SIP 변수들을 역산을 통해 계산하게 된다. 수치 실험을 통하여 역산된 SIP 변수의 영상이 실제 모델과 잘 일치하고 있음을 확인하였다. 개발된 SIP 해석기법은 일반적인 전기비저항 탐사보다 유용한 지하 영상을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 고전기장을 이용하여 제조한 도전성 탄소섬유/폴리에틸렌 복합필름에 있어서 고분자 점착하층의 두께가 제조된 필름의 체적비저항과 인장강도에 미치는 효과에 대하여 연구하였다. 탄소섬유(CF) 함량과 CF 층밀도에 따라 제조된 필름의 체적비저항과 인장강도의 점착하층에 대한 의존성의 양상은 복잡하게 나타났다. 이는 점착하층의 증가에 따라서 필름 하층면에 중심부나 위쪽에 비하여 CF 농도가 낮은 절연성 고분자층의 두에가 증가하고 필름 상층면 근처에서는 CF의 함침에 필요한 고분자 매트릭스의 양이 적어져 매트릭스 함침이 불충분하여 기공이 포함된 구조를 형성시키는 효과와 증가된 매트릭스의 유동성을 바탕으로 CF 분산성이 향상되고 동시에 보다 치밀한 구조가 형성되는 두 가지 상반되는 효과의 상대적 기여 정도의 차이를 통하여 설명할 수 있었다. 이들 결과는 전자파 차폐용 고도전성 고분자 차폐필름의 제조에 있어서 전기적 성질과 기계적 성질의 최적화하는데 중요하다.

Electrical Characteristics of (BaSr)TiO3-based PTCR Devices under the Electric Field

  • Semiconducting (Ba.Sr)TiO$_3$ceramic device, which shows the PTCR effect, has been usually used as a current limiter. In this case, the device should endure the condition under the high electric field. In this study, the dynamic electrical properties of the PTCR device under high voltage has been evaluated. Two different formulated powders were used and the sintered bodies exhibited the different grain size and porosity. The wide range of characterization such as complex impedance spectroscopy, microstructure, I-V characteristics and voltage dependence of resistivity of the samples were performed. The PTCR effect of the specimen containing coarse grains was very sensitively dependent on the AC electric field, showing that it was inversely pro-portional to the grain boundary potential barrier. The withstanding voltage was proportional to the potential barrier of grain boundary.

  • The effects of flux KCl and dopants, La2O3 and Ta2O5, on the PTCR characteristics in molten salt synthesized BaTiO3 have been studied. The resistivity of BaTiO3 at room temperature decreases with increasing amount of dopant La2O3 up to 0.2 atom%, and then increases with La2O3 content. In case of dopant Ta2O5, it increases with increasing amount ofthe dopant. These results could be explained by observation of the microstructure and defect equation. From the results of complex impedance-frequency characteristics, the grain resistances are almost same but the resistances at the grain boundary are quite different.

투명 대전방지 필름 제조 및 특성 (Preparation and Characteristics of Transparent Anti-static Films)

  • In order to develop the transparent anti-static film with higher than 80% transparency to visible light, organic conductive compounds, N-methyl phenazinium 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinonedimethane (TCNQ) com-plex salts was synthesized and bar-coated on the polythylene terephthalate (PET) film using polymer binders. The best surface properties were obtained when acrylic binder was used. A single layer of TCNQ made of a acrylic binder showed a surface resistance of 10\ulcorner $\Omega$/ , a conductivity of 10\ulcorner S/cm, and a transparency of 75%. An optical microscopic examination revealed that the binder was first solidi-fied on the surface of PET film over which the needle-shaped TCNQ crystals were grown. An acrylic polyol coating over the TCNQ layer improved the transparency to 87%, becuase the acrylic polyol covers the surface of TCNQ crystals to reduce the surface roughness. This conductive material has thermal stability at room temperature and 4$0^{\circ}C$ over 4,000 h.

  • The effect of SiO2 addition on sintering characteristics of 8 mole percent yttria-stabilized zirconia ceramics is investigated. As the addition of SiO2 is increased, sinterbility, microstructure, and Vickers hardness of the zirconia ceramic increased but fracture toughness and electrical conductivity are decreased. It is considered that the electrical conductivity decrease with the increase of SiO2 is due to the decrease of defect concentration of ionized oxygen. From the complex impedance measurement, it is shown that the influence of SiO2 is more dominant at the resistivity of bulk region than of grain boundary region.

  • The semiconducting BaTiO3 ceramics used in this study were sintered in the reducing atomosphere(hydrogen gas) and neutral atmosphere(nitrogen gas), then were heat-treated in air to vary defect concentrations. In this experiment, the correlations between the composition analysis and electrical characteristics of these samples were investigated. When the BaTiO3 ceramics were sintered in N2 atmosphere, it was observed that the Ba contents near the interface were lower than that of the grain center, and these samples showed superior PTCR effects. From analysis of the resistivities of grains and grain boundaries by CIRM(Complex Impedance Resonance Method), it was confirmed that the PTCR effects were caused by the resistivity of grain boundaries. And from measurement of the capacitance at each temperature, the samples sintered in N2 atmosphere show the increase of room temperature resistance and the decrease of capacitance as a result of the increase of the charge depletion layers. This phenomenon agrees well with the cation deficiencies in the analytical results.

  • When the traction motor for urban transit E.M.U is driven with VVVF controlled inverter, the insulation degradation factors on the 200 Class insulation system of VPI process are analyzed with considering dielectric, mechanical properties, thermal stability, chemical resistivity and compatibility. A new test method of complex accelerating degradation is proposed to evaluate the insulation reliability and the long-term life including harmonic loss and transient surge stress due to PWM inverter drive.

  • The effect of Cu substitution on the properties of NiZn ferrites sintered at low temperature with composition is investigated. The densification of NiCuZn ferrite in dependent upon Cu content in the composition of (N/sub 0.5-x/Cu/sub x/ Zn/sub 0.5/O)(Fe/sub 2/O/sub 3/)/sub 0.98/. Electrical resistivity is maximum at x=0.2. Dispersion characteristics of complex permeability of (Ni/sub 0.5-x/ Cu/sub x/Zn/sub 0.5/O)(Fe/sub 2/O/sub 3)/sub 0.98/ is observed above x=0.3 and relaxation frequency increases with higher temperature. The magnetic loss of NiCuZn ferrite is occurred above the Cu content x=0.3 at a low frequency.

Deep-learning based In-situ Monitoring and Prediction System for the Organic Light Emitting Diode

  • We introduce a lifetime assessment technique using deep learning algorithm with complex electrical parameters such as resistivity, permittivity, impedance parameters as integrated indicators for predicting the degradation of the organic molecules. The evaluation system consists of fully automated in-situ measurement system and multiple layer perceptron learning system with five hidden layers and 1011 perceptra in each layer. Prediction accuracies are calculated and compared depending on the physical feature, learning hyperparameters. 62.5% of full time-series data are used for training and its prediction accuracy is estimated as r-square value of 0.99. Remaining 37.5% of the data are used for testing with prediction accuracy of 0.95. With k-fold cross-validation, the stability to the instantaneous changes in the measured data is also improved.
