공급업자 역량이 공급업자와 구매업자의 장기지향적 거래관계에 미치는 영향: K화장품 기업을 중심으로 (Effects of Supplier's Competence on Customer-Supplier Long-term Relationships : with emphasis on the cosmetics industry)

  • 최근 산업재 시장에서 구매업자와 공급업자 간의 거래는 장기지향적 관계를 추구하고 있으며, 이를 위래 공식적 혹은 비공식적 계약이 이용되고 있다. 환경이 급변함에 따라 거래의 유연성이 요구됨에도 불구하고, 구매업자는 제한된 합리성으로 인해 환경변화의 예측에 어려움이 있다. 이러만 측면에서 본 연구는 산업재 시장에서 공급업자의 역량이 구매업자와 공급업자 간의 장기지향성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지에 대해서 파악하고자 하였다. 즉, 공급업자의 R&D, 유연성, 브랜드 자산, 시장정보활동, 고객지원활동과 같은 공급업자 역량이 장기지향성에 미치는 영향에 있어서 신뢰와 의존성의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 화장품 산업을 대상으로 자료를 수집하고 이를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 화장품 산업의 공급업자 역량을 이해함에 있어서 중요한 의미를 지니고 있다. 아울러 본 연구에서는 분석결과의 실무적 시사점 및 한계점이 제시되었다.

슈퍼바이저의 지식 및 기술 역량 연구 -IPA분석을 통한 사회복지관, 장애인복지관, 노인복지관 비교- (Knowledge and Skill Competence of Supervisor)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 슈퍼바이저 스스로가 인식하는 슈퍼바이저의 역량에 대한 중요도와 실행도를 사회복지관, 장애인복지관, 노인복지관 유형에 따라 비교 분석하고 이에 따라 슈퍼바이저의 역량을 향상시키기 위한 실행전략을 제안하는 것이다. 367부의 설문에 대한 t검증 결과, 슈퍼바이저에게 요구되는 14개 지식역량(t=30.545, p<.001)과 15개 기술역량(t=27.335, p<.001)에 대한 중요도와 실행도는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 또한 IPA(중요도-실행도)분석 결과, 4개 영역(지속유지, 집중개선, 점차개선, 과잉)의 분포에 있어서 기관유형별로 차이가 나타남에 따라 이에 대한 실행전략을 제시하고 논의하였다.

The Effects of Career Orientations on Entrepreneurial Satisfaction and Business Sustainability

  • This study empirically analyzes how the career orientation factors of startup entrepreneurs affect entrepreneurial satisfaction as well as business sustainability. We propose directions for startup sustainability and development. Based on previous research, we defined the career orientation of entrepreneurs through the five orientation factors of security, autonomy, technical competence, managerial competence, and entrepreneurial creativity. We constructed a research model to determine whether these factors have a causal relationship with entrepreneurial satisfaction or business sustainability through the medium of organizational entrepreneurship. We surveyed startups in Korea using a questionnaire and collected and analyzed a total of 282 points of survey data. The analysis results demonstrated that the entrepreneurial creativity and managerial competence of the members of a startup can play an important role within entrepreneurial satisfaction and business sustainability. Both autonomy and technical competence exhibited no effect on entrepreneurial satisfaction and business sustainability through the medium of entrepreneurship, while security showed a negative effect. In order to improve entrepreneurial satisfaction and achieve business sustainability, we confirmed that it was more important for startups to consider the creativity and business management competences of entrepreneurs rather than pursue business security or have a technology-oriented attitude.

Factors Affecting Work Performance During the COVID-19 Pandemic: An Empirical Study from Indonesia

  • The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of the principal's democratic leadership style, teacher competency, work discipline, and work environment on teacher performance during the pandemic. Using the proportional random sampling strategy, a sample of 468 respondents consisted of kindergarten teachers, elementary school teachers, junior high school teachers, junior high school teachers, and high school/vocational school teachers. The study revealed that the principal's democratic leadership style, teacher competence, work discipline, and work environment substantially impact teacher performance. However, the principal's democratic leadership style does not affect teacher performance, whereas teacher competence, work discipline, and work environment have a minor impact on teacher performance. Furthermore, during the COVID-19 pandemic, work discipline is the most critical variable influencing teacher performance. The findings of this study suggest that the principal's democratic leadership style, teacher competence, work discipline, and work environment have a positive impact on teacher performance during the pandemic. During the COVID-19 pandemic, work discipline is the most important variable influencing teacher performance. Considering that democratic leadership has no effect on teacher performance and that this leadership style is widely used by school principals in the world of education, it is assumed that there is no effect on teacher performance.

MBTI 성격유형에 따른 커뮤니케이션 능력과 대인관계 만족도에 관한 연구 (Communication competence and Satisfaction in Interpersonal Relationship on MBTI personality patterns(Focused on 3th military Cadet))

  • 본 연구는 사관생도의 MBTI 성격유형에 따른 커뮤니케이션 능력과 대인관계 만족도에 관한 연구이다. MBTI 성격유형 분포를 보면 남생도의 경우 ESTJ(16.7%)로 가장 많았고, 여생도의 경우는 ENFJ(16.7%)와 ENFP(16.7%)가 빈도수가 높았다. 성격유형과 커뮤니케이션 능력간의 차이가 있었고, 성격유형과 차이가 있는 지를 살펴보기 위해 사후검증으로 LSD를 활용하였다. 그 결과 성격유형과 커뮤니케이션 능력간에는 E(외향형)과 I(내향형)간 차이가 있다는 결과를 얻었고, 성격유형과 대인관계 만족도의 결과에서도 E(외향형)과 I(내향형)간 대인관계 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 커뮤니케이션 능력과 대인관계 만족도와의 상관관계에서 매우 정적인 상관(r=.604(p<.01)을 보였다. 결국 본 연구의 의의는 사관생도의 성격유형에 따른 커뮤니케이션 능력과 대인관계 만족도가 통계적으로 유의미하다는 것을 증명하였고, 성격유형에 따른 훈육방향을 제시해 줄 수 있다는 점에서 매우 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.

Students' Perception on Quality of Indian Higher Education System

  • Purpose - This study aims to explore students'perceptions of different quality aspects in Indian higher education, viz. tangible facilities, competence, attitudes, content, delivery, and reliability. Research design, data, and methodology - Following a comprehensive literature review, the researchers used a well-structured questionnaire and in-depth personal interviews with 500 students. The selected sample was chosen from graduate and postgraduate programs in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, using convenience sampling; data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and frequency distribution. Hypotheses were based on the literature and empirical studies. Result - 50.28 and 49.88 percent of students were positive towards tangible facilities and competence, respectively. Further, 48.92 percent and 48.97 percent were negative towards faculty attitudes and course content, respectively. Finally, 48.72 percent reacted positively on the overall quality, while 51.28 were discontented. Conclusion - This study provides reliable and conclusive information to all stakeholders, facilitating systemic improvements. It reveals students'perceptions of different quality aspects of the higher education system, and is the first study of its kind in this part of the world.

기업의 RFID 역량과 전략적 공급사슬역량 및 기업성과 간 관계에 관한 연구: 중국 내 물류, 유통, 공급망 기업을 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship between Enterprise RFID Capability and Strategic Supply Chain Capability and Firm Performance: Focusing on Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain Enterprises in China)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중국 내 물류 기업을 대상으로 SCM 환경하에서 기업의 RFID 역량이 전략적 공급사슬역량에 미치는 직․간접적인 영향과 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 실증 분석해 보고자 하며, 아울러 IT 자원 등의 기술과 역량을 통합할 필요성을 인식하여 기업 내 IT 자원 활용을 통해 기업의 시장 거래를 활성화할 수 있는 전략적 방향성을 제시해 보고자 한다. 기존의 연구에 따르면 기업들은 일반적으로 RFID 역량을 통해 기업 고유의 특성역량을 구축하고 그 다음으로 구축된 기업 고유의 역량을 토대로 물류기업들이 지속적인 경쟁우위를 확보해 나갈 수 있다. 본 연구의 주요 분석 기업들은 중국 내 RFID 시스템을 도입한 제 물류, 유통 및 제조업체들로서 기업단위의 설문조사를 실시하였으며 Smart-PLS 2.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 구조방정식 모델링(SEMs)으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 측정모형분석을 통해 내적신뢰성과 집중타당성 및 판별타당성이 충족됨을 확인하였으며, 둘째, 구조모형 분석에서 RFID 역량과 전략적 공급사슬역량 간 관계, 전략적 공급사슬역량과 기업성과 간 관계에 대한 가설 검증을 실시하여 유의미한 결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 첫째, RFID 역량과 전략적 공급사슬역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 인과관계를 규명함으로써 RFID 시스템을 성공적으로 도입할 수 있는 지침을 제시하였다. 둘째, RFID 역량이 공급사슬역량의 가시성, 민첩성, 유연성 그리고 기업 간 협업 활동 각각에 미치는 영향 정도를 제시함으로써 공급사슬역량을 높이기 위한 RFID 시스템 구축전략을 수립하는데 필요한 기초 연구 자료를 제시하였다.

카지노 종사자의 조직문화 인식과 심리적 임파워먼트 (Perceived Organizational Culture and Psychological Empowerment of Employees in Casino Companies)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to verify a role of organizational culture as antecedents to influence psychological empowerment of organizational members, focusing on service workers of casino companies. Therefore, this study sought to examine the question of each clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy culture that the workers perceive to influence their psychological empowerment. Thus, the current study examined the relationship between organizational culture and the psychological empowerment by empirical analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - This study chose four domestic casino companies that are run only for foreigners. Using an offline survey, it analyzed the questionnaire data of the 249 surveys collected from employees working in the sales and service sectors. Independent variables were four types of organizational culture: clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy. Dependent variables were four subcategories of psychological empowerment: meaning, competence, self-determination, and impact. As research methods, the study applied descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS 21.0 statistical program. Results - Among the organizational culture types, the clan and adhocracy cultures, which emphasize flexibility and autonomy, were relatively more important for the psychological empowerment of workers than the hierarchy and market cultures. Clan culture was the most important factor in terms of meaning and competence, and adhocracy culture was the most important factor in self-determination and impact. However, the hierarchy and market cultures that pursue control and stability were also cultural types that positively affected psychological empowerment of the workers. Hierarchy culture showed positive effects on meaning, competence, and impact except self-determination, and market culture had positive effect only on competency. Conclusions - The study found that organizational culture is an important predictor of psychological empowerment of the employees in casino companies and that important organizational culture types may be different for each sub-factor of psychological empowerment. It suggests that casino companies have to try to recognize and secure diverse organizational culture in order to activate psychological empowerment of their employees because they can provide quality service for customers. Therefore, it is necessary to create a harmonious and balanced culture between promoting flexible and autonomous organizational atmosphere, and stably controlling and operating the organization.

Effects of CEO's Self-Determination on Start-up Entrepreneurship and Business Performance in Service and Distribution SMEs

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of CEO's self-determination on entrepreneurship, business performance (operational and financial performance). Also, this research provide some strategic insights for improving business performance. In the proposed model, self-determination consists of autonomy, competence, and relatedness, and entrepreneurship consists of innovation, initiative and risk sensitivity, and proactiveness. More specifically, this study proposes a framework that entrepreneurship and operational performance will play mediating roles between self-determination and financial performance. Research design, data, methodology: In this study, an online survey was conducted on SME CEOs for analysis, and a total of 122 samples were used. In the analysis process for hypothesis verification and evaluation, frequency analysis was first performed to identify the demographic characteristics of the respondents, and confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to assess the reliability and validity of the measurement model. In addition, a structural model analysis was conducted to examine the structural relationships between CEO's self-determination, entrepreneurship, and business performance (operational and financial performance) using SmartPLS 3.0. Results: The findings and summary are as follows. First, the autonomy of self-determination has a positive effect on entrepreneurship. Second, the competence of self-determination affects entrepreneurship and operational performance. Third, it affects the innovation, initiative and risk sensitivity of the CEO's entrepreneurship, and ultimately, its operational performance. The results show that the business performance of Start-up also increases when self-determination can be a factor in increasing entrepreneurship in three sub-dimensionalities. Conclusions: The conclusion of this study is that in order for SMEs to develop into a sustainable company by securing competitiveness after start-up, external motivation such as external help and support from the state (local government) is important, but competence and relationship, which are components of self-determination. The intrinsic motivation of the CEO may be more important. To this end, CEO's should prioritize learning for competency development, and the government should pay attention to providing various educational programs through establishment of education policies and education systems to enhance the competency of start-up CEO's.

Impact of glycosylation on the unimpaired functions of the sperm

  • One of the key factors of early development is the specification of competence between the oocyte and the sperm, which occurs during gametogenesis. However, the starting point, growth, and maturation for acquiring competence during spermatogenesis and oogenesis in mammals are very different. Spermatogenesis includes spermiogenesis, but such a metamorphosis is not observed during oogenesis. Glycosylation, a ubiquitous modification, is a preliminary requisite for distribution of the structural and functional components of spermatids for metamorphosis. In addition, glycosylation using epididymal or female genital secretory glycans is an important process for the sperm maturation, the acquisition of the potential for fertilization, and the acceleration of early embryo development. However, nonemzymatic unexpected covalent bonding of a carbohydrate and malglycosylation can result in falling fertility rates as shown in the diabetic male. So far, glycosylation during spermatogenesis and the dynamics of the plasma membrane in the process of capacitation and fertilization have been evaluated, and a powerful role of glycosylation in spermatogenesis and early development is also suggested by structural bioinformatics, functional genomics, and functional proteomics. Further understanding of glycosylation is needed to provide a better understanding of fertilization and embryo development and for the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic tools for infertility.
