패션업체 판매원의 서비스교육과 임파워먼트가 직무만족, 고객지향성과 직무성과에 미치는 영향 (The effects of service education and empowerment for sales person of fashion companies on customer orientation, job performance and job satisfaction)

  • The study focuses on verifying the effects of service education and empowerment on job satisfaction, job performance, and customer orientation. 290 salespeople working for fashion companies participated by completing a survey. The collected data was then analyzed with SPSS 16.0 and AMOS 7.0. Structural equation modeling was used to examine the goodness of fit. Looking at the results of this study, the service education of salespersons in fashion companies was shown to affect their level of satisfaction with their compensation, whereas empowerment affected their psychological satisfaction. These findings indicate that the service training and empowerment as experienced by salespersons working for fashion companies affect their customer orientation and job performance. Specifically, psychological satisfaction as part of the overall level of job satisfaction was found directly to affect their customer orientation, whereas their satisfaction with their compensation did not affect their customer orientation. Customer-orientation as influenced by service education and empowerment was revealed to have direct effect on job performance. The results of this study indicate that the service education of salesperson working for fashion companies and their level of empowerment create job satisfaction and customer orientation in these individuals. This study will be a valuable source of information for those who create salesperson empowerment programs and salesperson management strategies for fashion companies. Such programs and management strategies can facilitate efficient job performance by salespersons working for fashion companies and increase their level of job satisfaction.

산업재해로 발생한 외상성 허리손상에 대한 새로운 재활치료프로그램의 효과 비교 (Comparison of Rehabilitation Programs in Traumatic Low Back Injuries with Industrial Accident)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of intensive rehabilitation programs on pain, range of motion (ROM), lumbar muscle strength, core muscle endurance, disability, and depression in patients with traumatic low back injuries and to compare the efficacy of this therapy with that of conventional rehabilitation therapy. Methods: The study was performed with a retrospective medical chart review of patients with traumatic low back injury referred to the rehabilitation center at the Daegu Hospital of the Korean Workers Compensation and Welfare Service. Forty-four patients were allocated to either the conventional rehabilitation group (CRG; n = 22) or the intensive rehabilitation group (IRG; n = 22). The CRG group patients, who received 30-min therapist-supervised physical therapy and modality therapy five times per week for four weeks, were compared with the IRG group patients, who received 60-min therapist-supervised physical therapy, 30-min therapist-patient 1:1 matching rehabilitation therapy, and modality therapy five times per week for four weeks. Outcome measures were a numerical rating scale, ROM, lumbar muscle strength, lumbar core muscle endurance, thickness of lumbar deep focal core muscle (transverse abdominis and lumbar multifidus), Oswestry disability index (ODI), and depression (Korean version patient health questionnaire-9). Results: There were statistically significant improvements after treatment in all outcome measures in both groups (p < 0.05). In the intergroup comparison, NRS scores on the activity and thickness of lumbar deep focal core muscles increased significantly more in the IRG than in the CRG (p < 0.05). There were no statistically significant intergroup differences in NRS scores on resting, ROM except left lateral bending, lumbar muscle strength, core muscle endurance, ODI, and depression. Conclusions: We could confirm the superior effectiveness of an intensive rehabilitation program compared to conventional rehabilitation therapy in patients with traumatic low back injuries.

  • 본고는 장애인지역사회재활시설 종사자들의 분배공정성이 소진에 미치는 영향관계에서 임파워먼트의 매개효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 대전과 충남 지역의 장애인지역사회재활시설 종사자 321명을 대상으로 한 설문조사자료를 검증하였다. 주요 분석방법은 SPSS/AMOS 18.0을 활용한 확인적요인분석과 구조방정식모형분석이다. 분석결과, 장애인지역사회재활시설 종사자의 분배공정성이 소진에 대한 영향과 임파워먼트의 매개효과가 검증되었다. 장애인지역사회재활시설 종사자들의 소진을 감소시키기 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 첫째, 종사자들의 분배공정성 인식을 높이기 위해 능력과 업무량에 대한 객관적 평가에 의한 보상, 투명한 보상체계의 구축, 비정규직의 근무여건 개선 등이 요구된다. 둘째, 종사자들의 임파워먼트를 향상시키기 위해 관리자들을 대상으로 한 리더쉽 교육과 프로그램의 운영, 종사자들의 프로그램에 대한 자발적 참여, 슈퍼비전의 제공과 임파워먼트의 교육 등이 필요하다.

행정서비스헌장제도의 발전과 정부혁신 (The Public Service Charter in the Republic of Korea : A Development plan for Government innovation)

  • The Public Service Charter is one of the administrative reform programs introduced to promote customer oriented administration. It's main purpose is to achieve citizens' confidence in the government by satisfying them with elevated quality of the public services. This study focuses on analyzing current conditions and achievements of the Public Service Charter in the Republic of Korea and proposing it's development plan. Since it was introduced to Korea in 1998, the Public Service Charter has been disseminated and contributed to the spreading of the citizens' understandings of the government's initiatives for customer satisfaction plans. Still, it has several problems as follows; A lot of public servants and citizens lack in understandings of this program. CEOs don't have enough concern in it. Evaluation is not organically connected to performance management. The correction and compensation procedure are not well operated. To solve these problems, the government needs to set up an institutional foundation establishing a legal base, uplifting CFO' concerns, and building a department with full responsibility, and to promote employees and citizens' participation through education and PR. It's also important to enhance post management by efficient evaluation and performance management, substantial correction and compensation procedure.

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to validated the effectiveness of the information gap in work and daliy life satisfaction. Additionally, this study attempted to verify the mediating effect of self-esteem. Methods : The study examined 327 students who participated in a study on the PSWCI 1st Wave by KCOMWEL. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics using the reliability test in SPSS 22.0 Ver. Moreover, hypothesis testing was analyzed with covariance based on structure equation modeling (CB-SEM) using Amos 21.0 Ver. Results : The low information gap has a positive effect on satisfaction with work and daily life. Additionally, self-esteem also has a positive effect on each satisfaction measure. However, self-esteem does not have a mediating effect between information gap and each satisfaction measure. Conclusions : The results of the study found the factor of effect on effect factor on beneficiary's satisfaction of industrial accident compensation insurance. Therefore, new ways need to be found that reduce the information gap and increase self-esteem.

건강신념 모델에 근거한 보육시설 유아대상 영양교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of a Health Belief Model Based Nutrition Education Program for Day Care Center Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop various nutrition education materials, including an animated CD, for day care center children and their teachers and in order to apply the nutrition education programs systematically. We evaluated the effect of the nutrition education programs on nutrition knowledge in the first year, and the effect of the nutrition education programs on nutrition knowledge, food attitudes and eating behaviors in the second year in day care center children. In the first year, nutrition education foundational materials, such as the animated CD-ROM, videotape, textbook, panels, posters, slogans, leaflets, picture disks, hand puppets, stickers for compensation and poster boards were developed. The subjects were 537 children (286 boys,251 girls) aged four to six years. In the second year, nutrition education materials, such as the animated CD-ROM and textbook were developed. The nutrition education group included 368 children (177 boys 191 girls) aged four to six years, and the comparison group consisted of 108 children (54 boys,54 girls) Regarding the nutrition knowledge test results in the first year, the pre-test mean of children was 6.82, however, the post-test mean was 11.35 and showed a significant increase (p < 0.001). Regarding the nutrition knowledge test and the food attitude test results in the second yew, the nutrition education group had significantly higher scores than the comparison group in a post-test (p < 0.001). For the eating behavior test results, the post-test means between the comparison group and the nutrition education group were not significant. The test results show that several months of nutrition education is not enough to improve eating behaviors. As a result, nutrition education has improved nutrition knowledge and food attitudes in day care center children but short-term nutrition education was not sufficient to induce a change in eating behaviors. To improve eating behaviors in day care center children, nutrition education programs must be applied to day care center children in addition to their Parents and Persistent education will have to be continued.

일부 치위생과 학생들의 셀프리더십이 스트레스 대처방식에 미치는 영향 (Effect of self-leadership on stress coping in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : This study examined the stress-coping methods used by Dental Hygiene students according to their degree of self-leadership to provide basic data for students' self-leadership training programs. Methods : Dental Hygiene students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were surveyed to measure their self-leadership in six categories-self-expectation, rehearsal, goal-setting, self-compensation, self-criticism, and constructive thinking-sand, in four categories-sproblem-centered coping, social support coping, emotional coping, and wishful thinking coping-son a scale of 1 through 5. Results : The findings of the study were as follows: The overall average score of self-leadership was 3.34 and the scores for each subfactor were 3.82 for self-compensation, 3.57 for self-expectation, 3.44 for rehearsal, 3.42 for goal-setting, 3.30 for self-criticism, and 3.12 for constructive thinking. The overall average score of stress-coping was 3.29 out of 5 and the scores for active coping were 3.14 for problem-centered coping and 3.38 for social support coping and for passive coping were 3.69 for wishful thinking coping and 2.95 for emotional coping. Self-leadership showed significant difference in terms of satisfaction with major and motivation for application. The six sub-factors of self-leadership and problem-centered coping and wishful thinking coping, the sub-factors of stress-coping, had significant correlations. Self-compensation and constructive thinking were significant factors of self-leadership that affect stress-coping. Conclusions : Based on the above findings, it was found that Dental Hygiene students' self-leadership is related to the use of efficient stress-coping. Therefore, it would be necessary to develop and apply educational approaches to improve their self-leadership so they can efficiently cope with various stressors that they will face after finding jobs.

명품 구매과정에서 고객만족과 추천의향에 영향을 미치는 보상 및 로열티 프로그램의 분석 - 고급 수입차 매장을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Reward and Royalty Programs Affecting Customer Satisfaction and Recommendations in the Purchase Process in Luxury Goods)

  • This study analyzed what premium features significantly affect customer satisfaction and their recommendation, and what factors significantly affect product attributes. In the process, first, the loyalty program and the customer compensation program were studied to determine the impact of the customer satisfaction and recommendation. The study analyzed that quality and design of product properties had significant effects on all factors, but the brand was not significantly affected. Second, while superiority, differentiation and scarcity of luxury items are significant to customer satisfaction but superiority is only significant in relation to recommendation intention. Third, the preceding study shows that the customer compensation program has a significant impact on sales growth, but the study found that it was not for imported luxury car customers. Fourth, if the royalties program is low in awareness, it has been analyzed that the scarcity and customer satisfaction relationships among luxury goods have been adjusted. On the contrary, if there is a high level of awareness, it is analyzed that there is a control effect customer satisfaction and differentiation among luxury brands. In the conclusion, in order to satisfy customers at the import luxury car market, the differentiation of luxury goods by standard index must be strengthened and the brand must be strengthened among the attributes of the product. In addition, by raising awareness of the royalties program, the relationship between differentiation and customer satisfaction can be enhanced.

간호학과 교수의 직무 스트레스와 교수 효능감이 조직 몰입도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Job Stress and Teaching Efficacy on Organizational Commitment of Nursing Professors)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify how job stress and teaching efficacy impacted organizational commitment. Methods: Data were collected from 158 nursing professors via an online survey, from Jan to June 2019. Results: The study found that four factors affected the organizational commitment of nursing professors: i) type of nursing institution in which they are currently employed (β=-.16, p=.030), ii) position as an assistant professor (β=-.37, p=.012) and an associate professor (β=-.44, p=.002), iii) salary in the 50-59 million won range (β=.20, p=.024), and above 60 million won (β=.41, p<.001), and iv) professor's teaching efficacy (β=-.18, p<.016). Conclusion: To increase the organizational commitment of four-year university professors, job characteristics should be considered. In the case of lower positions and salaries, additional compensation and programs that increase school affiliation should be introduced. Teaching methods training, lecture evaluation monitoring programs, and clinical training may also improve teaching efficacy.

취업희망분야와 의사결정 영향요인의 관계에 관한 연구 -식품영양 및 외식$\cdot$조리 전공자를 중심으로- (Investigation of Factors Influencing Career Decision-Making of Students in Foodservice Management and Culinary Arts Programs)

  • The purposes of the study were to identify important attributes in foodservice management and culinary arts students' career decision-making and to investigate factors determining their preferred employment fields. A questionnaire that consisted of preferred employment fields, importance rating of 19 attributes related to job choices, and demographic information was developed based on a review of literature. A total of 319 students enrolled in food and nutrition, foodservice management, and culinary arts programs of eight 2-year colleges and 4-year universities in Seoul and Kyunggi Province participated in the survey. Data were analyzed using SPSS Win (version 10.0) with descriptive statistics, chi-square analysis, one-way analysis of variance, factor analysis, and discriminant analysis. Attributes of the highest importance scores included fringe benefits, wages and promotion opportunities, working environments, professional development opportunities, and organizational culturs. The students who preferred non-commercial foodservice as a career choice depended more on 'word-of-mouth from faculty' than those who preferred other fields (F=3.094, p < .05) and rated importance of 'participation in job fairs' higher than those who selected hotel food and beverage (F : 5.048, p < .01) . A factor analysis of the 19 attributes resulted in five factors: job/compensation policy, impersonal communication, company image, word-of-mouth, and personal experience. The five factors explained $67\%$ of the total variance. A discriminant analysis revealed that students who perceived 'impersonal communication' and 'word-of-mouth' more important were likely to prefer non-commercial foodservice as a career choice. The results would be used by university faculty in advising graduating students on career selection and by recruiters in developing effective and attractive recruiting programs.
