Mandibular Symphysis Transverse Widening (임상가를 위한 특집 2 - 하악골의 외과적 확장)

  • The most common orthodontic methods of treating mandibular transverse deficiencies is extractions, interdental stripping, and other dento-alveolar compensation but it can not addressesd about skeletal problem This study assessed the treatment outcomes after surgically assisted rapid tooth orthodontics using the symphysis osteotomy and dentoalveolar distraction osteogenesis technique. The applications of distraction osteogenesis in mandibular widening, by symphysis osteotomy, has emerged as a definitive, predictable and better stability. The most important factors in mandibular widening is performed with simple surgical technique and devices. As a results, these techniques are very useful and effective in cases of difficult tooth movement in adult orthodontics transverse problems There were few intraoperative or postoperative complications and were not clinically significant.

Enhanced Track Jump Stability in Optical Disc Drives (광디스크 드라이브에서의 트랙 점프 안정도 향상)

  • Track jump control is a random access strategy for short distance movement. The most common track jump scheme is a bang-bang control of a kick and brake manner. In a conventional track jump scheme, a track-following compensator is turned off during kick and brake periods, and restarted at a target track for track pull-in. The inevitable controller switching with non-zero initial condition results in undesirable transient response, and excessive overshoot in the transient response causes track pull-in failure. In this paper, a new track jump scheme is proposed for enhancing track jump stability. Instead of control switching, internal states of a track-following controller are artificially manipulated for kick and brake actions in a digital control environment. Experimental results are provided in comparison with conventional track jumps.

Regional Occurrence and Sedimentary Environment of Manganese Nodule in KODOS area, C-C zone of NE Pacific (북동태평양 한국 심해저 연구지역 망간단괴의 지역적 분포와 퇴적환경)

  • Deep-sea bottom photographs acquired in the Clarion-Clipperton fracture zone of the northeast equatorial Pacific were analyzed to reveal the controlling processes for the spatial variation of manganese nodule. The results show that regional-scale occurrence variations of manganese nodule are mainly controlled by primary productivity of surface water, sedimentation rate, and water depth (or carbonate compensation depth). As a result, the diagenetic accretion on nodules increases toward southwest while hydrogenetic accretion increases toward northeast. Considering the northwestward movement of Pacific Plate, this regional-scale variation of manganese nodule occurrence seems to be affected by oceanic environment during the active growth period (Oligocene-Miocene) of Pacific Plate.

  • An image compensating algorithm with high-vibration movement is proposed, using optical flow and the Kalman Filter. The temporal motion vector field is calculated by Optical flow and suspicious vectors are removed or adjusted by the Gaussian interpolation method. The high-vibrated vector filled is stabilized by the Kalman filter. Lastly, compensated images are obtained by affine transformation. This proposed algorithm gives good compensated video images on high-vibration situations.

  • The restoration optimum image from transformation image demands compound change of image change, calender reform, and multiple solution calculation. This study presents that system actively deal with outside interference, vibration, movement, mechanical feature on the operating or before the operating and avoids complicated mathematical numerical expression and revise based on expert knowledge based which applies Fuzzy Logic which is one of Artificial Intelligent technique.

  • This paper proposed a speed adaptive control system with load torque observer and feed-forward compensation using neural network for air compressor system driven an induction motor. The motor receive impact load change under the influence of piston movement of up and down, and so it difficult to obtain good speed control characteristics. With real-time adjusting control gain estimated in neural network, control characteristics of motor is improved. The validity of the proposed system is confirmed through the theoretical analysis and computer simulation.

  • A 2$\frac{1}{2}$ dimensional measurement and inspection system realized on the machine tool using a touch trigger probe and measuring G codes is synthesized in this paper. Measuring G codes have been constructed according to geometric farms, precision attributes, relationships between two parts, datum hierarchies, and relevant technological data by using measuring arguments. Algorithms far calibration and compensation of measuring errors are proposed to ensure the measuring accuracy by using a laser interferometer and ring gauges. Classification of feed rates according to the objectives of movement makes it possible to reduce measuring time and also implement collision-free measurement. Experiments are conducted to verify the validity and effectiveness of proposed methods.

  • The previous limited authority system capable of implementing attitude command response type and translational command response type by operating SAS actuator has the problem of early saturation of SAS actuator since SAS actuator should compensate the mechanical linkage displacement caused by control sick movement. In this paper, a limited authority system where flight control computer receives the command from the control stick which is not connected to the mechanical linkage is described. In this system the compensation by the SAS actuator is not necessary and SAS actuator saturate later. SAS actuator saturation problem can be further relaxed by using the trim actuator. This new limited authority system is applied to BO-105 model, simulation is performed for the doublet input and pirouette maneuver is also simulated and analyzed.

  • The career development of information security workforce affiliated in administrative department is very different from workforce affiliated in private companies. Their career development attempts are made not by voluntary motivation but by involuntary job movement by the principle of internal relocation. So they are not directly linked to monetary compensation or advancement. Due to the nature of the organization, their work attitude is very passive and there is little intention to turnover. They do not need professionalism, but they must be retrained according to the law. In this paper, we investigate and analyze the roles and responsibilities of information security workforce of each administrative department. And we do questionnaire survey to find out current roles and responsibilities of them will not affect the demand for retraining. Through these research, we would like to discuss how to manage information security workforce affiliated in administrative departments.

Robust Internal-loop Compensation of Pump Velocity Controller for Precise Force Control of an Electro-hydrostatic Actuator (EHA의 정밀 힘제어를 위한 펌프 속도 제어기의 강인 내부루프 보상)

  • Force-controlled electro-hydrostatic actuators have to exhibit high backdrivability, to quickly compensate for force control errors caused by externally disturbed rod movement. To obtain high backdrivability, the servomotor for driving the hydraulic pump, should rotate exactly to such a revolution to compensate for force control errors, compressing or decompressing cylinder chambers. In this study, we proposed a modified velocity control structure, including a robust internal-loop compensator (RIC)-based velocity controller, for the servomotor to improve backdrivability of a force-controlled EHA. Performance improvement was confirmed experimentally, wherein sinusoidal velocity disturbance was applied to the force-controlled EHA, with constant reference input. Its dynamic force control errors reduced effectively, with the proposed control scheme, compared to test results with a conventional motordriver, for motor velocity control.
