This study is object to thermal analysis comparison of continuous casting mold. A two-dimensional transient finite element model was developed to compute the temperature distribution for continuous casting mold. For thermal analysis using analysis result from ANSYS. In other to thermal analysis of continuous casting mold, many variables such as casting speed, cooling condition, film coefficient, convection and load condition are considered.

In this paper, we make a study on comparison and evaluation of the seoul granite properties, which are unit weight, uniaxial compressive strength, Brazilian tensile strength and, point load strength. The typical result are as follow- 1. From the measured value of point load strength anisotropy index, the seoul granite is considered to be homogeneous. 2. There is a linear relationship between uniaxial compressive strength and size corrected point load strength index. 3. Brazilian tensile strength and size corrected point load strength index are closely tied together.

In a sensory evaluation, the data obtained by a result of evaluation have a wide dispersion and fuzziness because human sense organ is used as a means of measuring sensation instead of measuring instruments. These dispersion and fuzziness are caused by all kinds of time error and have a great influence on a sensory evaluation, but most of previous papers don't deal with these time errors. In this study, a comparative judgement capacity of an evaluator is discriminated by means of the eigen-structure analysis on the premise that evaluation value of sensory evaluators obtained by a paired-comparison become different by the order of sample presentation

In this paper, we study a special exhaustion function on almost Hermitian manifolds and establish the existence result by using the Hessian comparison theorem. From the viewpoint of the exhaustion function, we establish a related Schwarz type lemma for almost holomorphic maps between two almost Hermitian manifolds. As corollaries, we deduce several versions of Schwarz and Liouville type theorems for almost holomorphic maps.

Purpose : This study examined the symptoms and body flexibility according to physical change of the female college students who like to wear skinny jeans. Methods : This study targeted 39 female college students and conducted a questionnaire survey on physical change and disease, and measured waist flexibility and hip joint working range. Result : The study subjects showed much fatigue, subjective symptoms, and the highest varicose veins. As for comparison before and after waist flexibility measurement, the mean value of the waist flexibility was 17.97 before the experiment, and the mean value after the experiment was 17.63. Therefore there was a significant difference (P<.5). Conclusion : As a result of this study, the female college students revealed fatigue, varicose veins, and numbness, as well as waist flexibility and hip joint limitations even with a little walk.

Consider the random n $\times$ m assignment problem with m $\geq$ $_{i,j}$ Let $u_{i,j}$ be iid uniform random variables on [0, 1] and exponential random variables with mean 1, respectively, and let $U_{n, m}$ and $T_{n, m}$ denote the optimal assignment costs corresponding to $u_{i, j}$ and $t_{i, j}$. In this paper we first give a comparison result about the discrepancy E $T_{n, m}$ -E $U_{n, m}$. Using this comparison result with a known lower bound for Var( $T_{n, m}$) we obtains a lower bound for Var( $U_{n, m}$). Finally, we study the way that E $U_{n, m}$ and E $T_{n, m}$ vary as m does. It turns out that only when m - n is large enough, the cost decreases significantly.tly.

This research presents a laboratory study about a comparison between two methods that measure a hearing threshold of the Subjects who participated in an experiment of the Jury test. The Subjects heard a signal by a headphone. The Subjects of total 63 persons (man=42, woman=21 persons) participated in an experiment. A test of hearing was divided into two (Top-Down, Bottom-Up) methods. Total time of hearing test was about 80 minute(40min/day). As a results of the hearing test, a hearing threshold of the Subjects who used to wear a headphone was higher than that of the Subjects who not used to wear a headphone. A hearing threshold of a man was higher than that of a woman. The result of hearing test was showed that ISO's hearing threshold(MAF) was lower than a result that get from an experiment.

Foot mechanisms play the role of interface between the main body of robotic systems and the ground. Biomimetic design of the foot mechanism is proposed in the paper. Specifically, multi-chained and multiple contact characteristics of general foot mechanisms are analyzed and their advantages are highlighted in terms of impulse. Using Newton-Euler based closed-form external and internal impulse models, characteristics of multiple contact cases are investigated through landing simulation of an articulated leg model with three kinds of foot. It is shown that in comparison to single chain and less articulated linkage system, multi-chain and articulated linkage system has superior characteristic in terms of impulse absorption as well as stability after collision. The effectiveness of the simulation result is verified through comparison to the simulation result of a commercialized software.

One of the activities to improve software quality in ISO 26262 is to apply the design principles for software unit design and implementation mentioned in ISO 26262-6, including the evaluation activity. Before evaluation activity, the tool is compared and selected for evaluation. Because the results of the tool a company selected might have an effect on product quality. In this paper, we suggest the method to compare industrial static analysis tools with some of "MISRA C : 2004 Exemplar Suite" and all lessons learned from comparing tools are described. The result on comparison shows that we just couldn't rely on a result of Static Analysis Tool and need to have another appropriate processes and guidelines to evaluate a software.
