  • Ecological methods were reviewed through reports such as environmental impact assessment and damage effect of fishery in the Korean watershed. Survey items in marine ecological field were included: phytoplankton, zooplankton, benthic animal, algae, adult fish, egg and juvenile of fish. A standardization of survey method in the field of community ecology was suggested to consider the convenience, Sequency in Use of device, accuracy of data collected from that. It is necessary that spatial data should be sufficiently acquired toy statistical analysis of biodiversity and spatial comparison. Quantitative sampling method must be inevitably adopted based nature of biota and geographical type of the survey area. The same sampling method can make the data compared spatially but can't be applicable in all area. Standardizing survey method should be by no means under certain restriction of study and would become different according to survey environments. The first thing is minutely understanding about ecological character of biota inhabiting in certain area, and then determining survey method.

  • This paper is to survey the cooperation between the school and the community with respect to the degree of share of their facilities. The hypothesis of this paper is that the share of facilities between the school and the community is helpful for the two. That is, the community, using the school facilities, can educate to upgrade its people to higher social level. The school, using the community facilities, can compensate insufficient school facilities and facilitate student learnings. This paper employed both a literature survey and a case study approach explained by the case of Seong Dong Gu and its schools. This paper argued that the share of the facilities between the school and the community is needed to facilitate student learnings and to upgrade community people to higher level. Thus, government should encourage the cooperation between the two. This paper found that the school can use other schools' facilities, camping facilities, various types of private institute, community libraries, social welfare centers, athlentic facilities, and park facilities in the community. Most of the facilities are rested during school hours and are vacant more or less after school hours, so that there are still room for share the facilities with the students. This paper found that the community can easily use school facilities for life-long education programs, house-wife classes, athlentic programs for daily life, recreation classes for community people because the school is located in the center of the community. These programs using school facilities can encourage to upgrade community persons' social levels. However, this paper found that the degree of community use is insufficient to fulfil the school facilities. Only a few percent of the school class rooms and other facilities are used by the community. Therefore this paper asserted that community education programs using school facilities should be expanded. This paper recommended, based on the findings, that governments should encourage the cooperation between the school and the community to facilitate student's learnings and to upgrade community people to higher level. Also it recommended that the school should share more community facilities and that the community should share more school facilities.

  • Korea has not tried any food consumption survey so far except the national nutrition survey, which does not show food consumption patterns of different income stratas. The results of the family income and expenditure survey(FIES) by the national statistical office can be precious sources which show household food consumption patterns due to large, random. Samples, year-round survey period and socioeconomic background data. This study analyzed the FIES data to find out food consumption patterns including nutrient intakes and frequently consumed foods by households among different monthly income levels. Big difference was found in food consumption patterns among the quartile-income groups especially the amount of consumed foods, food expenditure, and nutrient intakes. For every food item, the higher the monthly invomr, yhr motr og goof yhry vondumrf. The monthly food expenditure of higher higher income strata was composed with higher percentage of relatively expensive foods compared to other stratas. Nutrient intake levels of lower income strata were 50-60% of the RDA, which showed the necessicity of food assistance programs for those high risk groups to complement the nutritional difficiency. Methods: The original data was from the 2019 Community Health Survey, and the study sample comprised 1,642 older adults aged 65 years and older in Jeju province. Data collection was conducted from August 16 to November 20, 2019, through an interview done by a trained investigator. Respondents were queried about demographic characteristics, riding bicycles, hospital treatment due to an accident or poisoning in the previous year, fall experiences in the past year, fear of falling, self-management status, and pain and discomfort. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate for associations between potential risk factors and falls. Results: The prevalence of falls in this community-dwelling older adults was 13.1%. Falls were associated with riding bicycles (odds ratio = 4.7; 95% confidence interval: 2.26-9.81), fear of falling (odds ratio = 0.3; 95% confidence interval: 0.24-0.49), hospital treatment due to an accident or poisoning in the previous year (odds ratio = 7.8; 95% confidence interval: 5.02-12.19), self-management status (odds ratio = 0.6; 95% confidence interval: 0.34-0.89), and pain and discomfort (odds ratio = 0.6; 95% confidence interval: 0.40-0.87). Conclusions: We found that the prevalence of approximately about 13% of older adults living in a community has experienced falls. Based on the results of the study, we provided primary data to develop the care management intervention program to prevent falls and avoid risk factors that cause falls in community-dwelling older adults.

  • The purpose of this study was to give a suggestion for vitalizing rural area's community, with respect to the components of community; 'locality' and 'communality'. The survey was conducted at Hondong, Hodongseong-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, which was a representative area for active rural area community. For the survey, we interviewed an activist on the village in November $9^{th}$, 2014, and let 81 residents fill the questionnaires during March $7^{th}$ to $14^{th}$, 2015. Major findings were as follows. 1) As for the 'locality' factor, the motives of residents' immigration were influenced by the availability of facilities for agriculture education, living, and convenience in the area. Most of residents recognized that the area comprises their own community facility area and expanded area with concentrated facilities of 'li', minimal adminstration unit. It means that their usage pattern of community facilities influences their conceptions of the village. 2) As for the 'communality' factor, original residents and immigrant back-to-farm residents showed different pattern in communicating with neighbors and community facility usages. Residents communicated with neighbors by meeting up or using the concentrated facilities in Gatgol, and visited the Balmak library frequently. Residents' sense of belonging was high with mean 4.16 point of 5.0 in Likert scale.

  • Being able to enjoy leisure time for adolescents is a necessary activity, for it helps them relieve their anxiety and stress and develop their potential. It is necessary to incorporate such spaces in the housing plans in advance and support diverse community activities. The current living spaces do not hold proper spaces and facilities for community activities appropriate for adolescents. Community facilities should be planned so as to reflect the needs of these adolescents, based on a clear survey in advance. The current study has conducted a survey to find out about the level of satisfaction and requests from adolescents on the leisure facilities their current living spaces hold. Based on this prior research, this study looks for solutions that could solve the issue at hand. The current community facilities are not convenient to support a diversity of leisure activities to the adolescents. The community facilities should be able to supplement information on the various activities put in place for the youth and widely supply the programs in demand. Furthermore, the adolescents wanted to form their own community within the facilities to practice their leisurely activities. We can safely assume that the youth's desire for more community amenities will increase for their own development.
