  • This study aims to apply Arduino and 3D printing technology considered as a key subject in the age of 4th industrial revolution which is a step 1 for customizing and applying the process of production by chemical molding companies producing environment-friendly biodegradable packaging materials to the 3D printing teaching in universities. Step 3 is applied to IoT for Arduino application, and 3D printing technology is also used on the basis of teaching creative integrated human resource. Integration of Arduino with 3D printers is based on the assumption that middle- and high-school students can learn it step by step to higher levels and university students majoring or not majoring in computing science can also have computing skills for solving 3D printing-based problems. For IoT application in this study, the 3D printing technology is applied to the external shape of products for producing an Arduino-based lighting fixture. The applied 3D printing technology is further extended to teaching modeling of producing packaging materials by chemical product molding companies in the age of 4th industrial revolution.

  • This study focuses on forces and correlation among such independent factors as the style of leadership, motivation and relationship in order to find out what kind of ingredients have an effect on the employees' organizational commitment in a venture company. It is likely that the organizational commitment of the employees in the organization in a venture company may be different from that of existing enterprises since they differ 100 percent in their nature. In an attempt to prove it, actual corroboration has been made. As a result, it turned out that transformational leadership had a great impact on the organizational commitment while transactional leadership did not; in the motivation factor, the more vision the employees envisage, the more organizational commitment they show followed by management goals and self-admiration; in the relational factor, more openness in the communication led the employees to devote themselves to their companies, which was valid in the range of 90% in the confidence index. This study reveals that there is not much difference between venture and general companies in the factors that affect employees' organizational commitment in the organization. Therefore, the Chief Executive Officer in the venture company should make a favorable environment with transformational leadership and obvious vision through free and open communication with colleagues so that his or her employees can devote themselves to the organization to which they belong, since venture companies are usually staffed by young workers with high education.

  • In this paper, we use a structural equation model to diagnose success factors on commercialization of information and communication technology considering the characteristics of commercialization process in terms of the type of technology, technology provider and technology receiver. The results of our study indicated the following. The transferor's research ability has significant effects on the commercialization by small businesses with low R&D expenditure to sales ratio, and the business management ability plays an important role in the commercialization by the relatively large (over 100 employees) companies with low R&D expenditure ratio. During the commercialization of the technology independently researched by government run institute or university, the transferee's business management ability is crucial to success. To those companies which run the existing business with high R&D expenditure ratio, their ability to utilize technology is essential. When the independently researched technology is used in the new business, the companies' business management ability and the role of technology transfer center are the important factors on the commercialization. Based on these findings, we suggest some strategies to effectively promote R&D efforts for successful commercialization.

However, this study presents the results of different studies by presenting empirical study results by selecting time, cost, quality, safety and communication as key management factors of quality management activities of construction companies through reviewing and analyzing previous studies in construction field.

  • This paper deals with an approach to boost the public sector SI market in Korea. In order to promote competition powers of the software industry in Korea, a software industry promotion law has been issued, which restricts large SI companies from competing in the public sector system integration market. However, naturally many SI projects in public sectors are too large and complicated to be carried by small and medium size companies. This paper proposes an approach to reform the SI market for those small and medium size SI companies.

  • The aims of this study were to investigate (1) the status of food materials purchased by group-buying companies and (2) the satisfaction with food materials and service quality of group-buying companies in foodservice at child-care centers. In November 2013, child-care centers which were participated in a group-buying program in Gwanak-gu, Seoul were requested to complete self-reported questionnaires. One hundred and eight respondents (76.9% of directors, 23.1% of non-directors) completed questionnaires, including purchase frequency of food materials, degree of satisfaction with 'food materials' and 'operating system and service' of group-buying companies. About 60% of child-care centers purchased food materials from major companies. Respondents' overall satisfaction with 'food materials' and 'operating system and service' were '3.55' and '3.72' out of 5 points, respectively. For overall satisfaction with food materials, there were significant differences between 'public (3.79)' and 'private, home-based (3.31)' child-care centers (p=0.023). The results of multi-regression analysis showed that quality (${\beta}$=0.271, p=0.013) and price appropriateness (${\beta}$=0.284, p=0.002) were associated with overall satisfaction with food materials purchased by group-buying companies. The factors such as delivery accuracy about items(${\beta}$=-0.201, p=0.042), hygiene of delivery process (${\beta}$=-0.207, p=0.025) and communication with companies (${\beta}$=-0.317, p=0.003) were significantly associated with overall satisfaction with operating system and service provided by group-buying companies. The results of this study could be utilized for group-buying companies and the government to develop guidelines and policies on food material buying in foodservice at child-care centers.

  • Background and objective: As the agricultural industry becomes a more convergent industry, it is believed that the demand for human resources by companies will change. Therefore, a survey was conducted to investigate the human resources required by agriculture companies. Methods: In the survey on 77 agriculture companies, 98.7% of respondents answered that new employees with a college degree needed additional training to adapt to practical affairs. Results: The first priority of education was "community spirit" (22.1%) and the second priority was "convergence capability" (15.6%). The most important educational goal desired by agricultural companies was "cultivating human resources with community spirit and ethical judgment", followed by "cultivating human resources with serious communication and problem-solving skills", and "cultivating human resources with scientific thinking and unique creative imagination." Sub-competencies that companies want agricultural colleges to strengthen were "community spirit" 4.32(SD=0.96), "desirable values" 4.30 (SD = 1.05), "sympathy" 4.28 (SD = 0.95), "convergence capability" 4.16 (SD = 0.88), "creativity" 4.11 (SD = 0.83), "civic spirit" 4.10 (SD = 0.91), and "rational/critical thinking" 3.94 (SD = 1.04). There was a significant difference in sub-competencies that require reinforcement depending on the number of full-time employees. "Creativity" was most necessary in companies with less than 3 employees (4.39), and 4~7 employees (4.33), and "aesthetics"" in companies with less than 3 employees (3.94), and 4-7 employees (3.61) "Civic spirit" was most necessary in companies with 31 employees or more (4.33). • The IPTV Standardization work being done by the ITU-T in collaboration with other SDOs and telecommunication companies. Currently IPTV services are provided with no global standards and interoperability. ITU-T leads the process of IPTV standardization. We used the ITU-Ts working documents which were publically available to investigate the direction of IPTV standardization process. Many things including architecture, services, service requirements, codec and error correction mechanisms etc already defined through recommendations. But still there is effort going on to standardize the complete IPTV system.
