  • An insider's information security incidents continue to occur, there is a growing demand for strengthening information security within the organization. However, when strict information security policies and rules are applied to employees of the organization, it can result as an information security stress and resistance behavior. The purpose of this study is to suggest the causes of insiders' negative information security behavior and factors that mitigate the cause. In particular, the study identifies how the mutual influence of individual (psychological empowerment) and organizational (justice climate) factors mitigates negative behavior. In this study, a sample was obtained by surveying workers of organizations that reflect information security policies to insiders, and hypothesis testing was performed by structural equation modeling. As a result of the analysis, role stress had a partial mediating effect on the effect of psychological empowerment on security policy resistance, and the justice climate strengthened the effect of psychological empowerment. Our results suggest a direction for reducing insider information security policy resistance, so it helps to establish a strategy for achieving internal information security goals.

  • Climate change is tough global issue with human being to tackle in cooperative manners, because climate change affects globally and has long-term detrimental impacts. To get a clue to this intricate problem, vertical governance (global, regional, national, and local) with horizontal governance should be well orchestrated. In this research, we analyzed about 24,000 articles in Korean daily newspapers from 1990 to 2018 to find out vertical and horizontal governance characters of Korean climate change. The result showed that Korean government followed the global issues but lacks relations with neighbor countries. and found a little actions in local government. In horizontal governance aspect, Korean government approached the climate change as a tool for economic development and lead the issues without communication with other two player which are market and civil society. We proposed to use market mechanism to facilitate the participation and Climate Change Framework Act to setup the mechanism for cooperation.

  • Background: The aim of this research is to analyze the transformation of workers perceptions of the safety climate in an oil and gas company in Indonesia when they experience a change in ownership from a multinational to a national company. Methods: This cross-sectional study used questionnaires distributed offline and online in three periods of ownership of Company X. Data analysis was carried out descriptively by comparing workers perception scores regarding the safety climate at Company X when managed by the multinational holder, transition period, and national holder. Results: Workers perceptions of the safety climate in Company X when it experienced a change in ownership from a multinational company to a national company has a trend of decreasing scores (from 8.07 to 7.48). Overall, a decreasing trend in scores occurred in several sub-variables of safety climate, namely management commitment (8.33 to 7.56), communication (8.10 to 7.64), safety priority (8.55 to 7.68), personal appreciation of risk (8.25 to 5.48), involvement (7.50 to 7.36), and personal priority and need for safety (8.25 to 5.48). Conclusions: Ownership changes cause a trend of decrease in employee perceptions of the safety climate at Company X. Company's priority on safety related to production target factors is decreasing due to the change of ownership. On the other hand, the national period had a higher score in supportive environments and work environments, compared to the multinational period.

  • In the aftermath of the global pandemic that started in 2019, there have been many changes in the import/export and supply/demand process of agricultural products in each country. Amid these changes, the necessity and importance of each country's food self-sufficiency rate is increasing. There are several conditions that must accompany efficient agricultural activities, but among them, temperature is by far one of the most important conditions. For this reason, the need for high-accuracy climate data for stable agricultural activities is increasing, and various studies on climate prediction are being conducted in Korea, but data that can visually confirm climate prediction data for farmers are insufficient. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an artificial intelligence-based temperature prediction algorithm that can predict future temperature information by collecting and analyzing temperature data of farms in Gyeonggi-do in Korea for the last 10 years. If this algorithm is used, it is expected that it can be used as an auxiliary data for agricultural activities.

  • This research identifies the main factors of the psychological climate that directly affect the performance of banking employees in Vietnam. Besides, this research also takes into consideration the differences in gender, age, educational level, and income on working performance. A survey was obtained from 207 employees working at joint-stock commercial banks and the analysis was handled with SPSS 20 software supports. The result shows that the measurement scales meet the requirements of validity and reliability. Regression analysis demonstrates that there are four factors directly affecting the working performance: friendliness, personal development and learning opportunities, straight and open communication, and the support from the senior management. These four factors have created a healthy psychological climate in the banks, where employees will feel comfortable and happy to improve work performance. Furthermore, this research has found that the higher the income, the more efficiently employees will work. The results of this research contribute to the measurement scale of working environment factors. At the same time, this research also proposes some recommendations for organizational managers to build a reasonable working environment that can inspire a sense of mental comfort for employees to work at their full capacity and to achieve the highest performance.

  • This thesis is a study of artistic measures and climate refugees, based on Hack's World Climate Refugee Camp project. According to Hack, climate refugees appeared with the process of globalization. Hack claimed that the people who put climate refugees in danger are the industrialized nations, and therefore, their rejection of refugees is nonsense. He also stated that the fundamental solution would be the active participation of such nations. Thus, he travels around the world, encouraging participants and globalizing his project. Interestingly, the practical participation method of his climate calamity project is divided into four methods, which are all related to realizing the danger and presenting various solutions. First, the aesthetic of survival: the reason Hack focused on the warming trend and claimed that we have to accept the climate refugees as refugees comes from the thought that we are all potential refugees, and the anxiety that climate refugees may cause war in the end. The solution Hack found for surviving in such a world is to create "refugee camps" to notify people about the seriousness of climate change, and to put the "aesthetic for survival" in action. Second, a relation-oriented relationship: communication between Hack and the participants was done in various ways. They are experiencing a bond and emotions of an interrelationship through their actions in the experimental field, experiencing a new form of art, which they were not able to experience in a museum. Third, a utopian measure: Hack's utopian measure started from the fear of dystopia but Hack still believes that it is not only a dream, but that it can be realized. He claims that even though the start may be feeble, it is possible to rescue children from starvation and to treat climate refugees as proper human in the end, when communication and cooperation is done the right way and properly. Fourth, the aesthetic of global relation, the internet: the new solution Hack is trying on the internet is to make more people participate in his project. It is fate that "human are the wrongdoer and the victim at the same time", but according to Hack's opinion, social disaster can be avoided through effort and it is optimistic that we can give form to the culture revolution we are experiencing now. Hack's project illustrated the importance of daily life, compared to art inside a museum, through active participation of the people and opened up a new method of art through realistic responses to disasters. This is distinctive from the past exhibitions, where artists gave shape and form to ideals and an imaginary world, in that it shows that the artist and audience aim for creating a community-like structure, just like Bourriaud's art method. Hack's project of climate calamity illustrates that installation and action art is not only an art genre which shows installation and activities, but that it can include social and political issues and that it can be completed with the help of participants, consequently becoming a genre of modern art. Hack raises a question about art's identity through various descriptions. Artists as planners, who base their artworks on their subjectivity or the characteristics of a specific period, the people as participants, the duet of art work and play, human and human, and further, human and nature. The practical participation method, as a measure for "disaster", reveals the new art of the 21st century within Hack's artworks. Even though there are several problems with Hack's usage of art as a measure for disaster, it will actively open up a new page for the 21st century's art with the theme of disaster.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the 'Action Competence on Climate Change(ACoCC)' shown in 12 types of middle school 「Technology & Home Economics」 textbooks written according to the 2015 revised curriculum, and to suggest ways to improve the activity tasks. According to the results of the analysis, first, the 'knowledge on climate change' was the most frequently mentioned, and 'climate change communication' was the least frequently mentioned in the textbook among ACoCC. Second, all 12 textbooks dealt with 'knowledge about climate change' most frequently, yet the frequency of mentioning other competencies differed by publisher. In relation to the core concepts, the ACoCCs were most often discussed in the 'Management,' yet never discussed in the 'Life Design' at all. In relation to the academic sub-fields of home economics, the 'clothing life' showed the highest frequency of mentioning ACoCCs, while 'family life' the lowest frequency. Based on the results of the above analysis, it was suggested that the capacity to respond to climate change should be dealt with in the overall fields of home economics education. This study has implications as a basic study related to climate change in home economics education, and it is expected that various research and educational programs in home economics education that focus on climate change mitigation are implemented in the future.
