  • 우주발사체 개발은 우주 선진국으로 도약하기 위해 반드시 필요한 중요한 사업이며 막대한 비용과 장기간의 개발기간이 소요되는 만큼 위험이 존재한다. 성공적이고 효율적인 우주발사체 개발을 위해서는 적절한 개발 비용 산정이 중요하다. 또한, 우주발사체를 상업용 발사체로 활용하기 위해서는 다른 우주발사체와의 경쟁력 비교를 위해 생산 및 운용 비용의 추정도 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 한국에서 개발되는 우주발사체의 생산 및 운용 비용을 추정할 수 있도록 한국의 인력 및 기술 수준, 평균 작업시간 등과 같은 요소를 반영할 수 있는 한국화요소에 대해 분석하였다. 또한, 한국화요소를 적용하여 KSLV-II의 생산 및 운용 비용을 추정해보고 해외 발사체의 발사 비용과 비교를 통해 발사체 서비스 시장에서 상업용 발사체로서 경쟁력을 평가하였다.

화물자동차 보조 후미등화장치 설치에 따른 운전자 시인성 변화 (Legibility Change of Commercial Vehicles Equipped with the Rear Lighting System)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this system (Rear Lighting System) is to provide illumination for the driver to operate the commercial vehicle safely after dark in highway, to increase the conspicuity of the vehicle, and especially be suggesting the finest observable improvement method, depending on color and pattern of rear lighting system of truck for midnight highway traffic. METHODS : Rear lightning system as an improving way for forward commercial vehicles lighting the securing sight from human factors and the surrounding environment in midnight driving. For this one, basic materials were collected from the data analysis about many types of problems, and filed investigation for establishing Driving Simulator. also taking statistic test to human volunteers after finding recognizable distance of them. RESULTS : As a result, color with the highest visuality is amber followed by green-red-blue as in order for all road types. Especially almost no difference is found between red and green, also when the light is turn off, recognizable distances is wide difference compared to turn on the light. One more thing about study per pattern, upper and entire lighting have similar recognizable distances, but under lighting shows short distance with difficulty securing sight from medians. And straight section shows similar recognizable distances. By finding visuality improvement method depending on color and pattern of supplement taillight, it is expected to suggest quantitative judgement standard for introducing regulation and improvement of supplement taillight. CONCLUSIONS : Night time vehicle conspicuity to the rear is provided by rear position lamps. this study is showed that the color of light ramp is not important to be safe driving, most important is to turn on the light, recognizable distances is big different compared to turn off the rear light, so when the drivng dark in highway, have to turn on the light for reducing risk.

상용차 자율협력주행 플랫폼 평가를 위한 V2X 기반 평가환경 개발 (Evaluation Environment based on V2X Communication for Commercial Vehicle Cooperative Autonomous Driving)

  • 본 논문에서는 V2X 통신 기반의 상용차 자율협력주행 플랫폼 평가환경 구축 연구의 내용을 소개한다. V2X 통신 기반의 자율협력주행 플랫폼 평가를 위해서는 다양한 주행 시나리오를 적용할 수 있는 도로 및 V2X 인프라 등의 테스트베드 구축과 함께 시험평가를 위한 각종 제반 규격 및 표준, 지침 등이 개발되어 피시험자에게 제공되어야 한다. 또한, 이를 기반으로 실제 시험평가를 진행할 수 있는 각종 레퍼런스 장비와 시험장비 등이 개발되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 V2X 통신 기반 상용차 자율협력주행 플랫폼 평가환경을 구성하기 위해 개발된 다양한 기술과 규격, 장비 그리고 구축 인프라를 소개한다.

자율주행차용 우선순위 기반 다중 DNN 모델 스케줄링 프레임워크 (Priority-based Multi-DNN scheduling framework for autonomous vehicles)

  • 최근 딥러닝 기술이 발전함에 따라 자율 사물 기술이 주목받으면서 드론이나 자율주행차 같은 임베디드 시스템에서 DNN을 많이 활용하고 있다. 클라우드에 의지하지 않고 높은 인식 정확도를 위해서 큰 규모의 연산이 가능하고 다수의 DNN을 처리할 수 있는 임베디드 시스템들이 출시되고 있다. 이러한 시스템 내부에는 다양한 수준의 우선순위를 갖는 DNN들이 존재한다. 자율주행차의 안전 필수에 관련된 DNN들은 가장 높은 우선순위를 갖고 이들은 반드시 최우선적으로 처리되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 DNN이 동시에 실행될 때 우선순위를 고려해서 DNN을 스케줄링하는 프레임워크를 제안한다. 낮은 우선순위의 DNN이 먼저 실행되고 있어도 높은 우선순위의 DNN이 이를 선점할 수 있어 자율주행차의 안전 필수 응용의 빠른 응답 특성을 보장한다. 실험을 통하여 확인한 결과 실제 상용보드에서 최대 76.6% 성능이 향상되었다.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations and activated carbon fiber filters in passenger vehicles in urban areas of Jeonju, Korea

  • The South Korean Ministry of the Environment has revised the laws relating to the management of interior air quality for multiple use facilities, and recommends maintaining carbon dioxide ($CO_2$) concentration in passenger vehicles below 1000 ppm during operation in urban areas of large cities. However, the interior $CO_2$ concentration of passenger vehicles can rapidly increase and exceed 5000 ppm within 30 min, as observed when two passengers are traveling in urban areas of the South Korean city of Jeonju with the air conditioner blower turned off and the actuator mode set to internal circulation mode. With four passengers, $CO_2$ concentration can reach up to 6000 ppm within 10 min. To counter this, when the actuator is set to external mode, $CO_2$ concentration can be maintained below 1000 ppm, even after a long period of running time. As part of the air conditioning system, alkali-treated activated carbon fiber filters are considered to be far superior to the commercial non-woven filters or combination filters currently commonly in use.

인휠모터 구동차량의 승차감 및 자세제어를 위한 기초적 연구 (A Fundamental Study on the Control of Ride Comfort and Attitude for In-wheel Motor Vehicles)

  • It is being accelerated to develop environment-friendly vehicles to solve problems on the energy and environment of earth. The electric driving motor commonly installed in these vehicles has the excellent control capability such as fast response and accurate generation to torque control command. Especially, in-wheel motor has the additional merit such as independently driving each wheel in vehicle. Recently, being developed various control algorithm to enhance the safety and stability of vehicle motion using actively the merits of in-wheel motor. In addition to that, being issued the possibility of enhancing the ride comfort and attitude of vehicle motion such as pitching and rolling. In this paper, investigate the theoretical relationship between the braking/driving force and the motion of sprung mass of vehicle and propose the control method to enhance the ride comfort and attitude of vehicle motion. The proposed control method is proved through the simulation with vehicle model provided by TruckSim software which is commercial one and specializes in vehicle dynamics.

연성해석을 이용한 CNG 차량 압력 용기용 밸브의 안전성 평가 (Safety Evaluation of a Cylinder Valve for Compressed Natural Gas Vehicle Pressure Vessels using Fluid-structure Interaction Analysis)

  • Growing concerns about environmental pollution have led to an increase in the demand for compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles in recent years. CNG vehicles are equipped with a cylinder valve installed in a high-pressure vessel to control the CNG flow. The cylinder valve must meet high quality safety standards because the pressure vessel stores high-pressure CNG. Therefore, safety evaluation of the cylinder valve is necessary to ensure the safety of CNG vehicles. In this study, fluid-structure interaction analysis for the structural integrity of the cylinder valve were conducted using a commercial finite element analysis code(ANSYS WORKBENCH V14). The CFD analysis was performed using a steady-state technique according to the inlet and outlet pressures in order to predict the pressure distribution. Structural analysis was performed by a static structure technique at the maximum working pressure to evaluate the structural integrity of the cylinder valve. From the results, the safety factor of the valve component is between 1.57 and 21.5.

발사체 자세제어 적용을 위한 고추력 과산화수소 단일추진제 추력기 개발 (Development of High Thrust $H_2O_2$ Monopropellant Thruster for Reaction Control System of Space Launch Vehicles)

  • 발사체 상단의 자세제어를 목적으로 하는 과산화수소 단일추진제 추력기 설계 및 성능평가를 수행하였다. 상용 발사체급에 요구되는 수준인 100, 250 N 급 추력기를 목표로 하였으며 개발 모델에서 성능시험을 통해 반응기 설계 형상을 확정한 후, 최종적으로 검증 모델을 밸브와 통합하여 개발하였다. 설계된 추력기는 sea level 조건에서 특성속도, 추력, 비추력 및 펄스 응답성 측정을 통해 성능을 검증하였다.

첨단경고장치가 사업용 차량 운전자의 운전행태에 미치는 영향 분석 (Identifying the effects of advanced warning devices on the driving behaviors of commercial vehicle drivers)

  • PURPOSES : This study aims to analyze how the installation of advanced warning devices affects individual drivers' driving behaviors with operating record data collected from 100 vehicles. METHODS : With collected data, the changes in individual drivers' driving behaviors, such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW), were investigated with respect to the cumulative distance traveled and driving time. For the analysis, operating record data collected from 100 vehicles for seven months were used. RESULTS : The results showed that individual drivers' driving behaviors could be categorized into six different types. In addition, most of the drivers showed unstable warning patterns in the initial stage after installation of an advanced warning device. Approximately 40% of vehicles equipped with advanced warning systems were found to have positive effects, indicating that the frequencies of both FCW and LDW had been continuously decreasing after installation of the system. CONCLUSIONS : The warning device might be helpful for making drivers' driving behaviors safer. Driving behaviors during the initial stage of the system installation, which might be regarded as an adaptation phase, were found to be very unstable compared with normal situations, indicating that adequate education and training should be provided to all the drivers to prevent operator disruption at the initial installation of the system.

상용차 변속기 내부 기어 경량화에 따른 연비 저감 효과에 대한 연구 (Fuel Consumption Effect by Mass Reduction of Low Speed Transmission Gears in Commercial Vehicles)

  • Dynamic performance of transmission has a substantial effect on dynamic performance and fuel efficiency of a vehicles. Dynamic performance of transmission and mass moments of inertia of transmission gears are related directly each other. Then a smaller amount of kinetic energy from vehicles that repeat acceleration and deceleration requires lighter rotating part in transmission. It is going to increases fuel efficiency as a result. In this study, equivalent inertia moments of inertia at different speeds were calculated by simplifying the transmission system. To find out lightening effect at low speed level gear on fuel efficiency, the powerflow of transmission was analyzed. And the lightning effect of the rotating parts in transmission is compared with the mass reduction of sprung parts in vehicle.
