PCB상에 놓여 있는 굽은 결합 선로의 누화 해석 (Crosstalk Analysis of Bent Coupled Lines on a PCB)

  • PCB 설계시 전송선간에 발생하는 전자기적 결합 현상은 장비의 동작을 저감시키는 요인이 될 수 있다. 이런 결합 현상은 전송선과 라이저를 통해 흐르는 전류에 의해 생기는 전자기계에 의해 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 PCB상에 놓여 있는 굽은 결합 선로의 누화를 해석하기 위한 개선된 방법을 제안하고 고찰해 보고자 한다. 굽은 결합 선로에 대한 기존의 누화 해석은 굽은 결합 선로의 굽은 지점을 기준으로 각 구간으로 나누고 각 구간을ABCD 행렬로 나타내어 이를 직렬 연결한 방법을 이용하였다. 하지만 본 논문에서 제안하는 누화 해석 방법은 기존의 방법과는 달리 결합 현상을 계산할 때의 결합 구간을 소스가 인가되는 전송선을 인접한 전송선으로 수직 투영시킨 구간만이 아닌 인접한 전송선의 전 구간에 영향을 준다고 보고 계산을 하는 개선된 회로 접근법에 의해 계산하였다. 마지막으로, 몇 가지 굽은 결합 선로 모델들에 대해서 계산한 결과와 측정한 결과를 비교함으로써 본 논문에서 제안하는 누화 해석 방법의 타당성을 보였다.

8 채널 삽입형 3T Body pTx Array 코일 설계 (Design of 8 Channel Insertional pTx Array Coil for 3T Body Imaging)

  • In this research, we report all the elements are placed in the space above the patient table as a transmit coil to give optimized B1+ field for the body object. Through the simulations, we compared upper-and-lower parts combined 8 channel Tx array to upper only 8 channel Tx array and showed the utilities of B1+ shimming in multi-channel Tx body imaging at 3T. Half-cylinder shaped upper array shows weak B1+ field area around back of patient without B1+ shimming. After B1+ shimming, highly induced SAR places occurred in the arm region due to the close distance to the both end elements which were driven by very high RF current to enhance B1+ in back area. The proposed upper and lower combined array provides an enhanced homogeneous B1+ field in large ROI imaging as a result of shimming over the body size phantom. Through this research we proved the usefulness of the proposed insertional upper and lower parts combined transmit array for 3T body imaging.

  • This paper presents the filter of a resonator comprising a shorted open gap ring(SOGR) and interdigital lines. The proposed filter has the ultra wideband characteristic operating from 3 GHz to 10.5 GHz. In order to achieve the remarkable improvement in the size-reduction of the overall filter structure, only one cell of the SOGR with the inter-digital lines is adopted. It is shown that this filter has the size of $18mm{\times}15mm$ using a metamaterial, the fractional bandwidth over 100%, the insertion loss much less than 1dB, an acceptable return loss performance in the results.

단일 급전부를 갖는 레이다 디텍터용 X, K 밴드 배열 안테나 (X, K-Band Patch Array Antenna Having One Port Feeding for Radar Detector)

  • 본 논문에서는 단일 급전부를 갖는 레이다 디턱테용 X 밴드(10.525 GHz) $1{\times}2$ 배열 안테나와 K 밴드(24.15 GHz) $3{\times}6$ 배열 안테나를 제안한다. 제안된 배열 안테나의 왼편에는 X 밴드 배열 안테나가 있고 오른편에는 K 밴드 배열 안테나가 있다. 두 개의 배열 안테나는 하나의 전송 선로를 통해 급전이 되고, stub가 각 배열 안테나의 앞부분에 있다. 서로 다른 동작 주파수를 갖는 배열 안테나를 일반적인 T-junction을 이용하여 하나의 전송선로로 급전할 경우, 서로 영향을 주어 배열 안테나의 특성이 크게 바뀌게 된다. 이러한 영향을 차단하기 위해 open, short 특성을 이용하여 stub를 설계하였다. 먼저 각 배열 안테나에 stub가 연결되어도 안테나 특성이 바뀌지 않는 것을 확인하였고, 최종적으로 두 개의 배열 안테나를 연결하여 하나의 전송 선로로 급전을 하여도 성능이 바뀌지 않는 것을 확인하였다. 측정한 이득은 X 밴드에서 6.47 dBi, K 밴드에서 13.07 dBi로 시뮬레이션 결과와 잘 일치하였다.

DEVELOPMENT OF AN OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUE OF A WARM SHRINK FITTING PROCESS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE TRANSMISSION PARTS

  • A fitting process carried out in the automobile transmission assembly line is classified into three classes; heat fitting, press fitting, and their combined fitting. Heat fitting is a method that applies heat in the outer diameter of a gear to a suitable range under the tempering temperature and assembles the gear and the shaft made larger than the inner radius of the gear. Its stress depends on the yield strength of a gear. Press fitting is a method that generally squeezes gear toward that of a shaft at room temperature by a press. Another method heats warmly gear and safely squeezes it toward that of a shaft. A warm shrink fitting process for an automobile transmission part is now gradually increased, but the parts (shaft/gear) assembled by the process produced dimensional change in both outer diameter and profile of the gear so that it may cause noise and vibration between gears. In order to solve these problems, we need an analysis of a warm shrink fitting process in which design parameters such as contact pressure according to fitting interference between outer diameter of a shaft and inner diameter of a gear, fitting temperature, and profile tolerance of gear are involved. In this study, an closed form equation to predict the contact pressure and fitting load was proposed in order to develop an optimization technique of a warm shrink fitting process and verified its reliability through the experimental results measured in the field and FEM, thermal-structural coupled field analysis. Actual loads measured in the field have a good agreement with the results obtained from theoretical and finite element analysis and also the expanded amounts of the outer diameters of the gears have a good agreement with the results.

3D Markov chain based multi-priority path selection in the heterogeneous Internet of Things

  • Internet of Things (IoT) based sensor networks have gained unprecedented popularity in recent years. With the exponential explosion of the objects (sensors and mobiles), the bandwidth and the speed of data transmission are dwarfed by the anticipated emergence of IoT. In this paper, we propose a novel heterogeneous IoT model integrated the power line communication (PLC) and WiFi network to increase the network capacity and cope with the rapid growth of the objects. We firstly propose the mean transmission delay calculation algorithm based the 3D Markov chain according to the multi-priority of the objects. Then, the attractor selection algorithm, which is based on the adaptive behavior of the biological system, is exploited. The combined the 3D Markov chain and the attractor selection model, named MASM, can select the optimal path adaptively in the heterogeneous IoT according to the environment. Furthermore, we verify that the MASM improves the transmission efficiency and reduce the transmission delay effectively. The simulation results show that the MASM is stable to changes in the environment and more applicable for the heterogeneous IoT, compared with the other algorithms.

In this study, an closed form equation to predict contact pressure and fitting load was proposed in order to develop optimization technique of warm shrink fitting process and verified its reliability through the experimental results measured in the field and FEM, that is, thermal-structural coupled field analysis. Actual loads measured in the field have a good agreement with the results obtained by theoretical and finite element analysis and also the expanded amounts of the gear profile in both radial and circumferential directions are within the limit tolerances used in the field.

다중 홉 네트워크를 위한 디지털 및 아날로그 협동 전송 시간 동기화 프로토콜 (Cooperative Analog and Digital (CANDI) Time Synchronization for Large Multihop Network)

  • 멀티홉 네트워크에서 TPSN, RBS, FTSP와 같은 기존의 시간 동기화(TS : Tims Synchronization) 방법들은 네트워크의 홉수가 증가 할 경우 TS 오류 또한 증가하게 된다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이는 멀티홉 네트워크를 통해 구현되는 passive multistatic 레이더 시스템 및 무선 센서 네트워크 노드들 간의 시간 동기화 오류를 증가시켜 시스템 정확도를 저하시키는 중요한 원인이 된다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 동시 협동 전송(CCT : Concurrent Cooperative Transmission)과 반협동 스펙트럼 융합 전송(SCSF : Semi-Cooperative Spectrum Fusion)의 두 종류의 CT (Cooperative Transmission)을 이용한 시간 동기화 방법을 제안하고자 한다. CT를 이용하면 시간 정보가 전달되는 데에 필요한 홉수를 줄여 결과적으로 TS 오류를 줄일 수 있다는 장점을 가지게 된다. CCT는 협동하고 있는 노드들이 디지털하게 인코딩된 동일한 메시지를 각각의 직교한(orthogonal) 채널을 통해서 동시에 전송하면, 수신노드는 이를 수신하여 통합하여 디코딩함으로써 diversity gain을 얻는 전송방식이다. 반면 SCSF는 각각의 노드들이 상관성 있는 아날로그 데이터를 스펙트럼에 실어 동시에 전송하는 방식이다. 이 논문에서는 이 두 가지의 전송방식을 융합한 아날로그 및 디지털 협동 전송 시간 동기화 프로토콜, 즉 CANDI 프로토콜을 제안하고, 이 프로토콜이 멀티홉 네트워크에서 기존의 시간 동기화 방식인 TPSN과 비교하여 상당히 큰 격차로 시간 오류를 줄이는 것을 시뮬레이션을 통해서 증명하고자 한다.

고속 통신망을 위한 공정성 링 프로토콜에 관한 연구 (A study on the fairness ring protocol for high-speed networks)

  • For high-speed networks, a new ring protocal is proposed in this paper. A ring network combined with destination removal can achieve much higher network throughput than the channel transmission rate. However, such a network exhibits fairness problems. Over a past few years, global fairness algorithms such as ATMR and Metaring have been proposed to solve such problems. But the ring access time delay and fairness in such networks are sensitive to the network parameters such as network size and traffic distribution. In addition to guaranteeing fair ring access to all nodes, there are several other important performance aspects in such networks. The one is that fairness is enforced while node throughputs are kept as high as possible. And another performance measure is access delay and more specifically Head-Of-Line(HOL) delay, i.e., the amount of time the first cell in the transmission buffer of a node has to wait before it accesses the ring. HOL delay is a mijor component in the transmission jitter of the synchronous traffic transmission. A key idea of the proposed ring protocol is to find the nodes that have much more chances to access the ring than any other nodes in the independently distributed node architecture. Since destined by many cells need to share a part of the bandwidths with the next node for the fairness in as much as performance degradation does not become critical. To investigate the performance behavior of the proposed ring protocol for various network condition,s several performance parameters wuch as ring access time delay, and throughput are compared with those of the ATMR and Metaring protocols using simulation package, SIMAN.
