In this paper, intermediate cyan coupler was prepared by the reaction of 2-nitro-4, 6-dichloro-5-methylphenol with Pd(5wt%). The product was identified by using various analytical tools such as melting point, elemental analyzer, IR spectrophotometer and mass spectrometer. The reaction of intermediate cyan coupler with CD-3(color development agent) was shown cyan color.

This paper presents the color displays using more than three primary colors, for the reproduction of wider color gamut, and high-fidelity color reproduction. First, Natural Vision system, which is currently under development for the natural color reproduction in visual telecommunication applications, is introduced, The natural vision is based on spectrum instead of trichromatic color space, and enables high-fidelity color reproduction using multispectral and multiprimary technologies. Then, sixprimary color projection displays using LCD and DLP, and a four-primary color flat panel display are shown. It is experimentally demonstrated that the color gamut becomes much larger than conventional RGB-based display. In addition, it is proved that the spectral color reproduction using multiprimary display suppresses the influence of observer metamerism, and as a result, the color matching between the display and the real object is well improved.

This paper analyzed the color of harbor and fishing village for the better landscape. Accordingly the aim of this study is to find out the color-scape in harbor, such as regional color and present status are to analyze with elements of design. In beginning point of development, it is to take practicable data about color planning for marine tourism. Regarding the utility of these characteristics, hue, value, chroma can be checked and design of color-scape may be possible to work out future harbor environments. This study suggests that harbor of contemporary is to be environmental harmony and regional color control. The result of this research, it is carried out that the color-scape is checked by partnership of experts, official and regional person with "agreement of landscape" to provide reasonable criteria in color surroundings. An analysis of regional color-scape is expected to use for landscape improvement of fishing village and harbor.

This study was carried out to develope DBMS program and use CAD for flower, leaf and fruit characteristics of deciduous woody landscape plants in Suwon, Korea from January 1, 1992 to March 20,1993. The results were as follows : 1. The flower, leaf and fruit characteristics of 211 species which were anthesis, flowering period, flower color, leaf spreading, leaf color before fall leaf coloring, fall leaf color, fruiting, fruit period, fruit color and trunk color were investigated through field survey. 2. DBMS program for flower, leaf, fruit and trunk characteristics of deciduous woody landscape plants was developed with data through field survey. And the DBMS program might contribute to the decision of appropriate times for planting design for flowers, fall foliage color, fruit color and hark color. 3.During this procedure, CAD software was used to demonstrate the deblossom before leaf spreading and leaf spreading in flowering, fall foliage color, fruit color after leaf falling, and hark color for planting design as well as seasonal color change of deciduous woody landscape plants.

The digital space color of new media environment denied not only the deterministic relationship of designed color and circumjacent color but also the deduced an special elements of digital space color. Such phenomena historical perspective of Gernot Wersig, new media principle of Lev Manovich and remediation of Bolter, J.K & Grusin, R. are expressed in various new media environment across. In particular, development of digital technology is moving away from its previous space color based on scientific, statistical and quantitative perspective by using diverse variables. The following research focuses on the fundamental concept of space color by type, composition of digital space color. The paper reflects on the meaning and concept of contemporary which enables the application of digital space color system on space through advanced technology. The principle of digital space color such as multidimensional malerisch, discontinuous video, vague original and copy, irregular repetitiveness of 'copy of copy', selective color of observer, experiential color of observer, and etc. makes it possible to extract the expressed element and method of digital space color. Meanwhile, the features of digital space color such as divided field of form, non-systematized of process and collage of communication can be inferred from case analysis.

To increase plumage color uniformity and understand the genetic background of Korean chickens, we performed a genome-wide association study of different plumage color in Korean native chickens. We analyzed 60K SNP chips on 279 chickens with GEMMA methods for GWAS and estimated the genetic heritability for plumage color. The estimated heritability suggests that plumage coloration is a polygenic trait. We found new loci associated with feather pigmentation at the genome-wide level and from the results infer that there are additional genetic effect for plumage color. The results will be used for selecting and breeding chicken for plumage color uniformity.

Color is an important subject of interest for cognitive developmental stages of children and it also correlate to emotional and physical development. Children can acquire concept of color by 'play'. Color play can be experienced to children through diversity activity and theses activities contain creative craft art activity. The color-paly with art activity for kids can be called 'kids color-design play'. Recently, indoor playgrounds are rapidly grow-up because parent's concern degree that about play activity get higher. The indoor playground being enlargement and it contains various paly contents. Color-design play is also enacted animatedly in kids indoor playground. The great part of color-design plays are enacted through program that needs teaching. On the other hand, color-design play facility that children can play spontaneously is not composed sufficiently. Therefore this study aim at design proposal of 'Kids color-design playground apparatus' in indoor playground.

현재 사용중인 합성색소 중에서 사용빈도가 가장 높은 합성색소 중의 하나인 황색 4호의 대체용 천연색소를 치자에서 추출하였으며 추출조건은 추출온도 7$0^{\circ}C$, 추출시간 48시간, 추출 pH 7.0 및 기질농도는 10%였으며 이때의 추출수율은 61%였다. 추출한 조색소를 정제하기 위하여 활성백토를 사용하여 정제를 실시하였으며, 조색소액에서 배당체 성분과 색소성분을 각각 단일 peak로 분리하였다. 조색소액을 정제한 후 정제도는 약 27배 증가하였고, 수율은 96%로 높게 나타났다.

The propose of this study investigated the reproduction of color image displayed on a CRT monitor, for a range of different values of monitor gamma. We have used the GOG(gain-offset-gamma) model of the behavior of the CRT. Color difference have been computed in a color space, based on the CIELAB color appearance model. The 133 patch defined linearly color sample and 24 patch defined printing color target were used, and were subjected to the influence of nine different gamma value. The result show that neutral color is increasing the decrease range of luminance black color than white color. These results are of concern in the context of the "correct" display of color reproduction.

The purpose of this study was to investigate emotional images, preference, and purchasing intention on the color combination for knitwear cultural goods development. The subjects were 719 university students in Daejeon and Chungnam province, and the measuring instruments were 12 stimuli manipulated by the combination of chromatic and achromatic colors, and self-administrated questionnaires consisted of general color preference, emotional images, preference, and purchasing intention items of the knitwear cultural goods, and subjects' demographics attributions. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, t test, ${\chi}^2$ test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test, using SPSS program. The results were as follows. University students highly preferred black and gray color and deep tone on knitwear items, while they generally preferred blue and black color, and deep and pastel tone. The chromatic color combination was perceived as warm and conspicuous, but unattractive image. The achromatic color combination was perceived as cold and ordinary, but attractive image. Among the combination of chromatic and achromatic colors, gray & blue combination was perceived as more attractive image than red & dark gray combination. Color combination types of chromatic and achromatic color was showed some important differences on emotional image, preference and purchasing intention of knitwear cultural goods. Achromatic color combination was perceived as attractive image, and showed higher preference and purchasing intention than other color combination types.
