Color is an important subject of interest for cognitive developmental stages of children and it also correlate to emotional and physical development. Children can acquire concept of color by 'play'. Color play can be experienced to children through diversity activity and theses activities contain creative craft art activity. The color-paly with art activity for kids can be called 'kids color-design play'. Recently, indoor playgrounds are rapidly grow-up because parent's concern degree that about play activity get higher. The indoor playground being enlargement and it contains various paly contents. Color-design play is also enacted animatedly in kids indoor playground. The great part of color-design plays are enacted through program that needs teaching. On the other hand, color-design play facility that children can play spontaneously is not composed sufficiently. Therefore this study aim at design proposal of 'Kids color-design playground apparatus' in indoor playground.

The importance of the community centers has been increased throughout the decade. With the interest on the centers, the quality of the architectural design of the centers have been much improved. But the importance of the interior design and color' design of the centers have been ignored. It is quite sure that the quality of the interior design impact on the satisfaction degree of the users. And color is the important element which can control the quality of the interior design economically. This study surveyed the three community centers in Seoul to investigate the status of the color usages. And to consider the user's need, and preference in color design, this study performs the questionnaire about the color image and color pallette preference of the users and interior design professionals. Mainly highly bright and low chromatic YR colors were used, giving rigid and monotonous atmosphere. The most preferred color image were warm, bright and secondly friendly, simple, soft, open. And the preference for pallette were various but we can find the difference of color preference and color combination type according to the user's group. As a result, This study proposes the basic guidelines for color design, such as ideal color Image and color and color combination type and color pallette. This proposals can be applied as a basic guideline for color design of the community centers.

This study is performed to improve the elevation design of schools by the tools of color. Color is a very powerful design tool, one that is capable of altering the perception of a building or a space. The present form and material of elevations of schools are very monotonous and uniform. Therefore students do not have attachment for schools. And also in neighborhood, schools do not function as a good landmark. This study aims to develop good sample of exterior color design for schools and verify the guideline of color design for schools which was went ahead of this study. Through the survey of color preference and color image preference of the students of Seoul High School, the attitude of students to color were considered in design. The exterior color design for Seoul High School was realized. The result of this study suggests that the exterior color design can improve the image and plasticity of present schools. But within the monotonous character of present elevation, the effect of color design will be limited. Therefore to make a effective project, exterior color design should be accompanied with the alteration of elevation to make a plastic element of elevation.

The color is one of the important key words in Fashion arena today. In fashion, the image and concept changes by use of color or color combinations. The purpose of this research is to pursue the characteristics of color and color combinations through analyzing the colors utilized in oriental fashion design. It is necessary to define the oriental fashion design to build a criteria for collecting law materials for analysis of the research. As a conclusion, traditional oriental colors already used in various traditional artifacts were popular in use by many fashion designers with volatile attitudes towards its original symbolic meanings or philosophy. For example, yellow and red stands for gorgeous or sexy images through fashion design instead of express its original symbols of power and prosperity. The Complimentary Color Combination in hue, value and intensity of colors were also found in fashion design impling oriental images. While Contemporary Fashion Trend Color were also used in expressing Oriental images with oriental details considering fashion market. In using Oriental colors The characteristics of oriental colors and its combinations used in fashion designs are significant and their influences are meaningful not only in fashion design but also adjacent design areas.

The purpose of this study is to investigate harmonious color schemes based on a length proportion of upper and lower parts of a body by; understanding of the harmonious length proportion of a square measure of a color in color coordination of fashion design, and presenting a mutual relation of the length proportion of a square measure of a color according to the various way of color schemes and proportions. For this study, monochromatic scheme, analogous scheme and complementary scheme were adapted as the color schemes, and each color scheme was coordinated by analogous tone and contrast tone. Also, 1:1 symmetry proportion, 1:2 harmonic proportion, 1:1.618 golden section, 1:3 and 1:5 contrast proportion were used as the square measure of a color. For the survey, 12 sets of color sample were organized. The survey was conducted 182 of university students majored in fashion design, and 143 responded samples were analyzed using SPSS 12. The result of the study is as follows: 1:5 contrast proportion is most inharmonious in general, and 1:1 symmetry proportion is followed. It is thought that too much or same length of the square measure of colors has less attractive effect of coloring. On the other hand, 1:1.618 golden section and 1:2 harmonic proportion are accepted to be harmonious in all color schemes. The length proportion of the square measure of a color had more influence on harmony of color coordination in fashion design rather than color schemes. Though, on the assumption that people have a similar perception about the color image of fashion design, it will play an important role in strengthening or diminution of color in cloth if the coloring effect of the length proportion of the square measure of a color is used in fashion design and wearing of clothes.

Color selection plays a vitally important role in creating impressions of individuals or companies. This is largely because colors have sensibility aspects, which relate, in part, to images and, in part, to associations. Based on theories of color harmony and sensibility ergonomics, we have developed quantitative and systematic metrics for color images. In this paper, we suggest a color coordinate system that supports color analysis and color harmony functions using color images, which can be captured by corresponding adjectival words. We focus on a prototype system for graphical logo design to exemplify our concepts. The system can be applied to a wide variety of design domains.

The importance of color is increasing in modern life and we call such present age that is color age. These day that all areas of life are being getting fashionize, ordinary people as well as design specialist are required of culture and knowledge about color. Color is important factor of marketing because ability that color appeals to human's sensitivity is bigger than form. Color design education is important curriculum at liberal arts course and in special design training course. Color expresses by hue, value and chroma but design spot is using mainly hue and tone color system. Therefore, it is very important that educate tone concept in color design education But research of hue and tone color system is insufficient in domestic. We educate foreign color system and use mainly imported color paper. When think influence that increase of color, we must develop hue and tone color system in suitable for color design education and plan the color paper that conform to it. This research designed usable "Hue and Tone Color System 253" for general color design education. Also I designed 121 color papers for primary grade, 181 color papers for intermediate grade, 253 color papers for higher grade of color design education as specific practical use of "Hue and Tone Color System 253".or System 253".

This study examines how the students evaluate the color of classrooms in university after remodeling. This is a elementary study, which suggests a direction of study on a criterion of color design in classroom remodeling. The study was progressed through visiting classrooms and POE(post occupancy evaluation). The results indicate that most students satisfied with color environment, and the project of remodeling has increased the level of satisfaction in comparison with before. The level of satisfaction with the color of the architectural elements was high. The level was affected by wall color, floor color and color combination with elements' color. The overall satisfaction with classroom color was correlated with all architectural elements' color. The result shows that the positive effect and insufficiency of color design in remodeling. Also it shows that the color combination is one of important factors of satisfaction of color environment.

Biophilic design gives human beings positive and valuable experiences in nature. The experience in nature in the architectural environment is mainly symbolic and metaphorical, and is based on visual sensations such as color, form, and image. Recently, modern people living in a modern and simple style indoor space have a desire to pursue visual stimuli for interest or pleasure. This desire can be satisfied through color, lighting, and finishing plan. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose a biophilic design color palette based on the empirical characteristics and properties of biophilic design. The methods used in this study are as follows. First, the biophilic design factors and natural landscape preference criteria are examined. Second, based on the review results, natural landscape images are selected and color information for each biophilic design element is extracted according to the vertical and horizontal directions. Third, color information is converted to NCS color code and palette range and hue range are derived through the analysis of ratio and average values. Finally, based on the analysis results, biophilic design color palette is proposed for each element. The results of this study might be useful as basic data in establishing biophilic design strategies and applying them to architecture and interior construction.

But design spot is using mainly hue and tone color system. Therefore it is very important that educate tone concept in color design education. When think influence that increase of color, we must develop hue and tone color system in suitable for color design education. This research designed usable 'Hue and Tone 313 Colot System' for efficeint sensual color education. Also I designed 313 color papers with attached the Munsell notation which could reappear the spare color paper when needed. The 10 hues classification of this system are Red, Yellow Red, Yellow, Green Yellow, Green, Blue Green, Blue, Purple Blue, Purple, Red Purple. The 19 tones classification of this system are vivid, light, standard, deep, pale, soft, dull, dark, very pale, light grayish, medium grayish, dark grayish, very dark, off White, off Pale, off Light Gray, off Medium Gray, off Dark Gray, off Black. The special colors of this system are gold, silver and copper.
