Purpose: The objectives of this study were to define basic data for developing silver services related to goods, medical care, finance, leisure and residence. Method: In this cross-sectional study, the subjects were 792 pre-elderly and 382 elderly. The data were collected 2005 by using a structured questionnaire from Aug. 19 to Sep. 5. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics on the SPSS version 12.0 for windows. Result: The pre-elderly had the intention to use massage chair(36.6%), homecare service(29.8%), national pension(35.9%), sports(48.5%) and personal house(59.5%) in the ares of silver goods, medical care, finance, leisure and residence, respectively. The elderly wanted sphygmomanometer(38.7%), homecare service(27.7%), pocket money from their offspring (40.5%), sports(33.5%), and personal house(74.8%). They wanted manpower in the area of reforming of living place, leisure time and education, counseling of silver goods, and management of finance. Conclusion: Based on this study findings, the pre-elderly are thoroughly established for their future than the elderly. It is important to upgrade the silver services and to prepare the manpower for the pre-elderly and the elderly in the future of the aging society.

경골 중앙 전방 피질골 피로 골절은 지연 유합 또는 불유합이 되기 쉬우며 경미한 외상에도 완전 골절로 발전할 수 있다. 그러므로 세심한 평가와 처치뿐 아니라 이전 수준의 운동으로 복귀할 시기를 결정하는 것도 중요하다. 저자들은 운동 선수에서 경골 중앙 전방 피질골 피로 골절 지연 유합후 완전 골절로 발전한 증례에 대한 치험을 경험하였기에 이를 보고하고자 한다.

견관절증에 대한 관절경검사중분리된이두박건활차(detached biceps pulley)를발견하였으며 그임상적의의를고찰하고자한다. 견관절의병변에 대한관절경 치료 시3예의분리된 이두박건활차의 양상을확인하였으며, 그유발원인은 각각 반복적인투구, 전방견관절불안정성및외상등으로생각되었다. 분리된이두박건활차가상완운동에따른관절내활주를통해후상방관절순에충돌을유발하는것을관찰하였다. 불안정성예에대해서는전방관절순수복술후충돌징후가감소하였으며, 나머지2예에서는충돌징후를유발하는이두박건활차를절제후증상의호전을볼수있었다.

인대는 인체의 관절 주위에서 기능학적으로 매우 중요한 역할을 한다 인대의 기계적 성상과 손상 기전에 대한 많은 연구가 지금까지 진행되고 있으며, 많은 치료 방법들이 발달되어 사용되어 지고 있으나 치유의 질적 면이나 치유 촉진 및 완전한 치유에 대한 의문점들이 아직 도 남아있다. 관절의 기능에 중요한 역할을 하는 인대의 치유에 대한 연구와 이해를 하여 저자들은 인대의 조직학적 특성과 기계적 성상, 치유 과정 등에 관하여 여러 문헌들을 고찰하여 이 연구에서 알아보고자 한다

골퍼들의 만성적 견관절 손상은 보고 되고 있지만, 특히, 우성 상지의 급성 손상은 비교적 드문 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 증례는 중년기 여성에서 겨울철 잘못된 스윙 동작으로 발생한 우성 상지의 급성 회전근 개 파열을 보여 주었다. 따라서 겨울철에 골프를 시행하는 것은 근골격계 손상에 주의를 요하며 적절한 준비 운동과 스윙 동작의 개선으로 급성 회전근 개 파열을 예방할 수 있을 것이다.

Video summary is one of the tools which can provide the fast and effective browsing fur a lengthy video. Video summary consists of many key-frames that could be defined differently depending on the video genre it belongs to. Consequently, the video summary constructed by the uniform manner might lead into inadequate result. Therefore, identifying the video genre is the important first step in generating the meaningful video summary. We propose a new method that can classify the genre of the video data in MPEG compressed bit-stream domain. Since the proposed method operates directly on the com- pressed bit-stream without decoding the frame, it has merits such as simple calculation and short processing time. In the proposed method, only the visual information is utilized through the spatial-temporal analysis to classify the video genre. Experiments are done for 6 genres of video: Cartoon, Commercial, Music Video, News, Sports, and Talk Show. Experimental result shows more than 90% of accuracy in genre classification for the well-structured video data such as Talk Show and Sports.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of taping-tape with or without using spiral taping on vertical jump. The subjects for this study were about 20 years old healthy male college students without muscloskeletal diseases. Data for EMG activity and Ground Reaction Force(GRF) were estimated at three knee angles(i.e., 45, 90 & full degree). As a result, there was no statistical significance in max GRF at 90 and full degree regardless of spiral taping-tape. On the other hand, statistical significance was found when vertically jumping at 45 degree knee angle(p<.05). All the data for EMG activity at the three knee angles were not statistically significant, but there was a trend for a decrease in average EMG activity in elector spinae & Medial gastrocnemius at 90 degree knee angle. Based on these data, initial flexor action of knee was stabilized with spiral taping-tape when vertically jumping, resulting in improved muscular activity in Medial gastrocnemius. In conclusion, taping technique for jumping ability associated muscles like quadriceps is also required to develop.

Pellinus linteus has been used for the prevention of cancer traditionally. There are three origins of Pellinus linteus, Korea, China and Cambodia. However, their immunological activities were not evlauated comparatively. Thus, this study was done to evaluate immunomodulatory effects of Phellinus linteus(PL) from Korea, china and cambodia, We confirmed PL showed two major protein bands, 50 kDa and 80 kDa by protein analysis. These PL effectively upregulated the expressions of IL-2 at 10 ug/ml and GM-CSF, IL-4, IL-10, IL-12(p35), IL-12(p40), IL-18, IFN-r in all concentrations. However, Korea-PL upregulated the expression of IL-12 more effectively than the other PLs. It intended to increase NO with no significance. Those results indicate Phellinus linteus had cytokine modulating effect

This study aims to develop the education for college students who should perform the social role of the fut ure by conducting trekking activities including the characteristics, history, and culture of Cheonan area and then investigating the sociality and history of 36 college students. Taejosan, Seonggeosan, and Heukseongsan, which are part of the independent ring of Cheonan city, were selected as courses. The training was conducted by six instructors majoring in humanities, history, physical education and medicine. Teachers of humanities and history majors conducted theoretical lectures to raise the historical awareness of Cheonan area related to trekking course. In trekking practice, instructors of physical education and medicine majored in trekking safety education and course progress. Among the social development factors, responsibility, autonomy, and sociality were high. After the education, students recognized that the interest and necessity of history were high in order to understand the present society, thought that they made a lot of development compared to the previous one, and answered that the main development factors of history were the people and that there was a change in perception through this education. This study was composed of the survey after the education, so the psychological characteristics of the individual were not reflected, and it is difficult to generalize it because the number of subjects is small. In the future, more subjects need to be investigated and local residents need to investigate changes in local awareness.

본 연구는 산업체 만성요통환자의 자가요통관리를 위하여 가상현실 운동프로그램을 실시하고 산업체 만성요통관련 신체기능 및 건강관련 삶의 질을 측정하여 분석하였다. 대상자는 K산업체 만성요통환자 30명으로 Nintendo Wii Sports군(실험군) 15명, 일반 물리치료군(대조군)15명으로 구성되었으며, 신체기능은 배근력, 유연성, 균형능력, 통증으로 측정하였고, 건강관련 삶의 질은 SF-36을 측정하여 운동 전과 운동 후, 군간을 비교분석하였다. 집단 내 운동 전 후의 차이를 비교하기 위하여 대응표본 t-검정을 사용하였고, 집단간의 차이를 비교하기 위하여 독립표본 t-검정을 실시하였다. 실험결과 균형능력과 통증에서 두군 모두 통계학적으로 유의하게 개선된 것으로 나타났으며, 군간 비교에서는 Nintendo Wii Sports군이 일반물리치료군에 비해 통계학적으로 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 건강관련 삶의 질은 Nintendo Wii Sports군에서만 통계학적으로 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 가상현실운동프로그램이 산업체 만성요통환자의 요통에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐 요통관리를 위한 재가운동 프로그램으로 고려되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.
