The lifelong education center is an educational system that provides adults with learning from cradle to tomb to people, and it is difficult to provide smooth educational services due to the period of COVID-19. Through this, the purpose of this study is to investigate how the service quality of lifelong education centers affects psychological well-being through positive psychological capital based on previous studies on service quality, positive psychological capital, and psychological well-being. This study distributed and collected questionnaires from November 1st to November 14th, 2021, targeting 212 students attending the lifelong education center. As a result of hypothesis verification, first, it was found that the service quality had no effect on self-efficacy, but all of them had an significant effect on hope. Second, it was found that the assurance and responsiveness had a positive effect on resiliency, and it was found that responsiveness had a positive effect on optimism. Finally, hope, resilience, and optimism were found to have a significant effect on psychological well-being. Through the results of this study, it is expected that it can be used as data for the policy direction to provide better quality lifelong education center services to lifelong education center learners.
This study tests the hypotheses that city slogan reduces the retrieval of city memory unrelated to the slogan from the long term memory and that some variables moderate this effect, using the experimental method. The theoretical basis for the hypotheses is from the structure of the long term memory and the principle of memory retrieval discussed in ANM(Associative Network Model). For the test of hypotheses, the study adopted 4 experimental groups (2(slogan relevance: high or low) * 2(slogan concreteness: high or low)) and 1 control group. Each experimental group was exposed to one slogan corresponding to its condition while the control group was not. Then, the recall score was compared among experimental and control groups. One hundred and seventy-four undergraduate students belonging to the college of the authors participated in the study. The sample group was between 18 and 27 years of age, with an average of 22.4 years, and 54 percent comprised males. Results showed that city slogan had a negative effect on the retrieval of city memory unrelated to the slogan in most experimental conditions. This effect was more evident when the slogan had high relevance or high concreteness. But the main effect did not appear when the slogan had low relevance and low concreteness.

This discussion can be said to be a qualitative study on the possibility of linking communication education for college students and literacy education for Korean language-linked educators based on the theory of interpretation of cognitive meaning of media text containing complex mechanisms. The implicit meaning of media content expression used as an interactive communication strategy will be accepted as a multilateral interpretation according to the individual learner's cognitive environment. If so, how is the general media content meaning intended by the content creator being accepted? These doubts are the starting point for discussion. To solve the problem, I leaned on the experimental pragmatic methodology of cognitive aesthetics and applied a model of relevance of cognitive linguistics to connect learners' creative cognitive environment and present content to find a contrast. As a result of the discussion, it was possible to establish a basic framework for learners to express their subjectivity and creative thinking that could connect the cognitive environment and present content themselves. In particular, active and positive learners also revealed direct descriptive expressions to build a new cognitive environment, such as suggesting a third alternative to argue the ability to question produced media texts and the validity of the meaning implied in the text. In the future, since media text containing complex mechanisms is an indirect and persuasive communication behavior that occurs easily through various media in modern society, the universal communication principle of reliable conversation between media text creators and audiences should exist.

The article considers the fundamentalization of education in improving the future specialists professional training with usage of multimedia technologies by various scientists. Various points of view and approaches to defining the concepts of fundamentalization of education and multimedia technologies are identified. The concept of fundamentalization of professional training of a future specialist is based on the goals and functions of fundamentalization and - on the ways and means of achieving it, etc. Most authors agree only in their views that the fundamentalization of education is aimed at improving the quality of education and the education of the individual. Others involve the formation of a culture and worldview, increasing the creative and intellectual potential, forming the professional competence of a specialist and the potential for further education, and so on. The term multimedia refers to interactive systems that provide processing of moving and still video images, animated graphics, high-quality audio and speech. It is found out that professional training of a specialist by means of multimedia technologies includes not only the activities of the teacher and student, which form the learning process, but also the independent activity of the subject, self-development, assimilation of experience by the subject through analysis, comprehension and transformation of the field of activity in which he is included. It is revealed through the implementation of which approaches to the fundamentalization of higher professional education, it becomes possible to fully present theoretical training courses and effectively pass practical training by students, which contributes to improving the quality of training of future specialists in higher education institutions. Theoretical analysis of scientific views indicates a fairly serious attention of scientists to the problem of professional readiness of specialists and the possibility of higher educational institutions in preparing for it. At the same time, professional readiness is considered from different positions: as an active state of a person, which manifests itself in activity; as a result of activity; as goals of activity; as a quality that characterizes the attitude to solving professional problems and social situations; as a prerequisite for purposeful activity; as a form of activity of the subject; as an integral formation of personality; as a component of socio-professional culture; as a complex professionally significant neoplasm of the individual.
In this study, we investigated the psychological and physiological effects of experiences in real natural forests and virtual forests using artificially controllable VR. The experiment tested 60 adult college students in a natural forest and a graduate seminar room where external light was blocked. It evaluated the effects of the natural and the VR forest environments by comparing the psychological and physiological recovery of the subjects. Psychometric testing using the PANAS psychological index showed increased positive emotions and decreased negative emotions after experiencing forest scenery in the natural and VR forest environments. And a stress index, based on measuring cortisol in saliva, decreased significantly in the subjects in both environments. The experiment results can be used to support the creation of a psychological and physiological recovery environment with VR for those who cannot go to the natural forest due to certain restrictions such as physical distance, mobility difficulties, etc. It is expected that the results will be the basis for further research into the visual effects of forest healing and also for widening the use of VR, a technology of the fourth industry, in the field of forestry.
This study aims to examine Korean learners' production of American English vowel focused on feature analysis. Specifically, the present study adopts feature analysis so that vowel production is analyzed in terms of vowel features as well as overall segmental accuracy. To this end, 22 Korean college students participated in a production test which contained 11 English vowels /i, ɪ, eɪ, ɛ, æ, ɑ, oʊ, ɔ, ʊ, u, ʌ/. The results revealed that the degree of difficulty varied depending on features; the Korean participants showed higher accuracy for front/back features than for tongue height features and tense/lax features. In particular, the participants had more difficulty producing back vowels and non-high vowels than front vowels and high vowels with respect to tongue height features and lip rounding features. Among the individual vowels, /eɪ/ showed the highest accuracy in feature analysis. On the other hand, /ɑ, ɔ, ʌ/ showed low accuracy with respect to height features and lip rounding features, and high vowels /i, ʊ, u/ showed low accuracy with respect to tense/lax features. As for the correlation between the vowel features, tongue height features and lip rounding features are significantly correlated. Also, tongue height features and tense/lax features showed a strong correlation. Finally, pedagogical implications for teaching English vowels were further discussed based on the findings of the current study.
Generally, people act to use Information Technology on the premise of their experience in using various Information Technology. Namely, users perceive Information Technology through their User Experience, and these User Experiences can be said to impact Continuous Use Intention of the Information Technology. Based on this condition, the present study was proceeded to investigate the User Satisfaction's Mediating effect in the relationship between User Experience and Continuous Use Intention of the OTT services. For this purpose, 195 male and female college students' survey data were used for analysis, verified through the SPSS Process Macro. As a result of the analysis, not only the Reliability experience for the OTT services but also the Usability, Convenience, and Pleasurable experiences' User Experiences were verified that Use Satisfaction was Fully Mediating in relation to Continuous Use Intention. This result gives an implication that the importance of User Experience and Use Satisfaction in maintaining customers through continuous use of OTT services are worth noting. Overall, the present study increased the customer utility for OTT services and confirmed the importance of User Experience and Use Satisfaction in order to increase the competitiveness of the company. Also, it proposed a direction for an in-depth future research to develop this study.
The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of physical activity in the relationship between generalized anxiety disorder and overdependence on smartphones in adolescents. To find a way for solving the problems caused by the over-use of smartphones during adolescence, we tried to find the importance of a health promotion program through physical activities. For the purpose of the study, the 2020 Youth Health Behavior Survey data conducted by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were used as analysis data for this study. As a result of the study, firstly, generalized anxiety disorder has a negative (-) relationship with physical activity, and physical activity also has a negative (-) relationship with overdependence on smartphones. Secondly, as a result of analyzing the mediating effect of physical activity in the relationship between generalized anxiety disorder and smartphone overdependence experience, the physical activity was found to be a significant factor. Thirdly, it was confirmed that the physical activity has a partial mediating effect in the relationship between generalized anxiety disorder and smartphone overdependence experience. Increasing physical activity through team sports rather than individual sports may help reduce smartphone use.
This study was conducted to verify the effect of elastic-taping on the strength, power, and endurance of muscles. Elastic-taping is widely used in sports for preventing injuries due to flexion and extension of the knee joints. The participants of this study were 10 male college students with no abnormalities in knee flexion and extension movements. The function of flexors and extensors of the knee joint were assessed using the isokinetic muscle function measurement equipment at angular velocities of 60°/sec, 5 times; 180°/sec, 5 times; 240°/sec, 25 times before and after applying Kinesio taping. It was observed that the average power of muscles after application of Kinesio taping during knee extension on the right side was significantly increased at angular velocity of 180°/sec (p=.010). During knee flexion, the average power was significantly increased at the right angular velocity of 180° /sec after Kinesio taping was applied (p=.016). In addition, at an angular velocity of 240°/sec, both left (p=.002) and right (p=.002) sides showed significant increase in total work done. The application of Kinesio taping to the rectus femoris and biceps femoris showed a positive effect on improving muscle power and endurance during knee joint exercise.
The purpose of this study was to investigate listener's affective responses to different vocal registers and modes in terms of valence (i.e., negative to positive affect) and arousal (i.e., low to high energy level). The data were collected from four different conditions (i.e., higher and lower registers paired with major and minor modes). A total of 188 female college students participated in the survey online and rated their perceived valence and arousal levels on a visual analogue scale after listening to each excerpt. The two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was administered for data analysis. The results revealed that there were significant differences in the affective responses to the two vocal registers, showing that the arousal was more affected by the register than the valence. Secondly, mode had statistically significant impact on both valence and arousal while weighing more on valence. Further, there was significant interaction effect of vocal register and mode on valence, but not on arousal. Results also displayed that listeners had the most negative valence when listening to the excerpt of minor mode in higher register, while having the lowest arousal when listening to the excerpt of minor mode in lower register. These findings imply that it is important to consider the vocal range as well as the musical mode when selecting music for appreciation.
