농산물(農産物) 건조(乾燥) 및 저장(貯藏)을 위(爲)한 태양열(太陽熱) 저장고(貯藏庫)의 개발(開發)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Development of Solar Warehouse for Drying and Storing the Agricultural Products)

  • 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)한 곡물(穀物)의 건조(乾燥)와 저장(貯藏)을 겸할 수 있는 농가용(農家用) 태양열(太陽熱) 저장고(貯藏庫)의 개발(開發)에 필요(必要)한 기초자료(基礎資料)를 얻기 위(爲)하여 구조(構造)가 간단(簡單)하고 가격(價格)이 저렴한 콘크리트 벽체의 저장고(貯藏庫)와 그 지붕을 대신(代身)한 태양열집열기(太陽熱集熱器)를 설계(設計) 제작(製作)하여 집열기(集熱器)의 성능(性能)을 실험(實驗)에 의(依)하여 구(求)하였으며 집열기(集熱器)에서 가열(加熱)된 공기(空氣)와 상온통풍(常溫通風)에 의(依)한 벼의 건조특성(乾操特性)을 비교(比較) 분석(分析)하였다. 건조(乾操)된 곡물(穀物)의 저장시(貯藏時)에 그 온도(溫度)를 예측(豫測)할 수 있는 simulation model을 개발(開發)하여 그 적합성(適合性)을 검정(檢定)하고 저장곡물(貯藏殺物)의 각(各) 부위(部位)에 대(對)한 온도(溫度)의 변화(變化)를 분석(分析)한 결과(結果)들을 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 본(本) 실험(實驗)에 설계(設計) 제작(製作)된 태양열집열기(太陽熱集熱器)의 효율(效率)은 평균(平均) 26%였으며 총열전달계수(總熱傳達係數)는 약(約) $25kJ/hr.m^2\;^{\circ}K$였다. 2. 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)한 건조(乾燥)에서는 공시(供試)벼의 함수율(含水率) 23.5%에서 15.0%까지 건조(乾燥)시키는데 7일(日)이 소요(所要)되었으며 상온통풍건조(常溫通風乾燥)에서는 함수율(含水率) 20.0%에서 15.5%까지 건조(乾燥)시키는데 12일(日)이 소요(所要)되었다. 3. 건조소요시간(乾燥所要時間)은 태양열(太陽熱)을 이용(利用)한 건조(乾燥)가 배(倍) 정도(程度) 빠르나 하층부(下層部)의 곡물(穀物)의 과건현상(過乾現象)의 방지책(防止策)이 철저히 구명(究明)되어야 할 것이다. 4. 저장곡물(貯藏殺物)의 온도(溫度)를 예측(豫測)할 수 있는 simulation model을 finite difference method에 의(依)해 개발(開發)하였으며 검정(檢定) 결과(結果) 실측치(實測値)와 잘 일치(一致)되었다. 5. 저장곡물(貯藏殺物)의 온도(溫度) 변화(變化)는 벽체와 접촉(接觸)하고 있는 부위(部位)에서 컸으며 곡물(穀物)의 손상(損傷)도 이곳에서 심(甚)할 것으로 사료(思料)된다.

  • This research made a study of MnO$_2$electrode for supercapacitor with a diffuser (Polyvinyl alcohol). Manganese dioxide was used as active material. We tried to increase specific surface area by adding PVA. Manganese dioxide was synthesized by a sol-gel method using fumaric acid and oxalic acid in low temperature with high yield. Therefore, We prepared Manganese dioxide powder. This powder was used by active materials. The electrode was made by a mixture of active material, ketjen-black which is a large specific surface area, and PVdF-co-HFP as binder agent with using Nickel mesh as current collector. Here we reported on the synthesis and electrochemical performance of a enhanced material. All active materials have been submitted to X-ray diffraction and Scanning electron microscopy.

Sensitive analysis of design factor for the optimum design of PVT system

  • Purpose: Recently, renewable energy system has been widely used to reduce the energy consumption and CO2 emission of building. A photovoltaic/thermal(PVT) system is a kind of efficient energy uses, which is combined with photovoltaic module and solar thermal collector. PVT system removes heat from PV module by through thermal fluid to raise the performance efficiency of the PV system. However, though PVT system has the merit of the improved efficiency in theoretical approach, there have been few performance analysis for PVT system using the dynamic energy simulation. In this study, in order to establish the optimum design method of this system, simulation was conducted by using individual system modules. Method: For the dynamic simulation, TRNSYS17 was used and local weather data was utilized. Furthermore, the system performance in various installation condition was calculated by case studies. Result: As a result, the amount of electric generation and heat production in each case was found by the simulation. The gap of system performance was also evident according to the installation condition.

소용량 EHD 발전에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Small Capacity EHD Power Generation)

  • This paper describes an experimental study that was performed to determine the limiting factors on the power output in the closed cycle Electro-Hydro-Dynamic generator of small capacity. A corona discharge for producing unipolar charged particles used as the charging method. The experiment demonstrated that the corona method of charging was an efficient and effective means of producing unipolar charged particles. Four factors having an effect on the power output characteristics of EHD generator are discussed and examined experimentally, using methyl alcohol and kerosene as working fluides; a. The conversion length between attractor and collector. b. The corona current of Emitter. c. The flow velocity of working fluids. d. Load resistance. This results are as follows; 1) There in a critical value in conversion length for its maximum power output. 2) Power output increases almost linearly with corona current and flow velocity. 3) There is the critical value of load resistance producing a maximum power output. 4) Kerosene is known better working fluid than Methyl alcohol in this EHD generator.

  • NPN Si bipolar transistors with two different emitter widths are designed and fabricated. The effects of the emitter width on the small signal parameters of BJTs are measured and discussed. A new ac method for determining the current gain, the cut off frequency and the internal capacitances from the input impedance circle characteristics as a function of the varied external series resistances is presented. This method allows an accurate characterization of bipolar transistors with high current gain. The variation of the I-V curves of the emitter junction with the reverse collector junction voltages is discussed from the changes in the intsrinsic base resistances.

다원기술 상호보완식 태양열 난방기술 - 저원가 고효율 규모화 태양열 난방 방안 - (A Study on Solar Heating System Technology Combining Multiple Technology with Mutual-Complementary Method - Low-cost, high efficiency, large-scale use of solar heating system -)

  • The article deals with system technology of a new solar heating system which systematically combines exiting solar collector technology, auxiliary electrical water heating, floor heating system and well insulated construction method and its application of this system to apartment house heating system in the cold region, and also analyzed performance of the new system in terms of technical and economic feasibility. Results shows that energy efficiency approaches up to 50% of the energy consumption of local construction from 1980 to 1981. The implementation of "DQ technology" to floor heating system achieved from 79% to 85% of the energy-saving benefits comparing to other housing units which were supplied by the local district heating plant.

  • The use of the pulsed electro acoustic (PEA) method allowed us to perform the direct observations of spatio-temporal charge distributions in Electric double layer capacitors (EDLCs) based on polarizable nanoporous carbonaceous electrode. The negative charge density became the maximum, about 205 C/$m^3$ at the region where was near to collector layer in EDLCs for case $V_{DC}$ = 2.5 V, while the positively charged density became the maximum, about 61.1 C/$m^3$ at the region where it was located around the cathode layer. The PEA measurement used here is a very useful method to quantitively investigates the spatio-temporal charge distribution in EDLCs.

Experimental investigation of the influence of salinity gradient on low-concentration surfactant flooding in Berea sandstone

  • There are serious issues with the application of surfactant flooding as a third recovery method, such as surfactant slug losses. In this study,the impact of the salinity gradient on the remobilization of oiltrapped in Berea sandstone was investigated by emphasizing the surfactant adsorption gradient and phase behavior to determine the optimal salinity of the chosen surfactant concentration for investigating the salinity gradient. Three salinity-gradient schemes were applied to six cores saturated with light and heavy oils. The positive salinity gradient provided the best recovery results with an in situ microemulsion formation that could be observed in the fluid collector.

  • 섬유 염색 산업은 공장 주변의 주민들이 악취로 인하여 고통을 받고 있으며 반드시 해결해야할 대기오염 문제이며, 특히 텐타공정에서 발생하는 백연과 악취를 저감하여야 한다. 섬유 염색 산업의 주된 대기 오염물질은 탄화수소로 이루어진 유연제, 가소제, 발수제등을 사용하는 후처리 공정에서 주로 발생한다. 화학 물질이 처리된 섬유를 텐타공정에서 건조하는 동안 섬유에 포함된 오염물질들이 기화하여 대기로 배출된다. 백연은 주로 1 마이크론 미만의 작은 고상 혹은 액상물질로 이루어져 있으며, 텐타공정에서 발생된 오염물질 분자들이, 이들 입자에 붙어서 상당히 먼 거리까지 이동하며 악취를 유발하게 된다. 텐타공정의 악취를 줄이는 가장 효과적인 방법은 이러한 미세한 오일 미스트를 제거하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 700 CMM의 Full-scale EFC (Electric Fume Collector) 운전을 통하여, 악취 및 백연이 효과적으로 제거되었으며 많은 양의 오일을 회수 할 수 있었다.

분류식 오수관내 퇴적특성과 퇴적방지를 위한 설계법 고찰 (The Characteristics of Sediment and a Design Method for Preventing Sediment in domestic sanitary sewers)

  • This study is the result of a field survey of four sewer networks selected from in domestic sanitary sewers. The main purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of sediment in domestic sanitary sewers and to verify sewer design criteria using minimum Shear Stess for preventing sedimnet. This investigation was carried out at a total of 22 points in the four areas. The characteristics of the sanitary solids that were sampled for suspended solids and bedload matter showed a specific gravity of 1.09, a median particle size of 1.26mm, and 88.9% organic contents. On the other hand, deposited sediment was found at 6 points out of the 22 monitoring points. The analysis results of disposed sediment showed a specific gravity of 2.16, a median particle size of 1.31mm, and 15% organic contents. In flow velocity, the majority of deposited sites have under 0.6m/s. However, one-site which was in large-diameter collector sewers, has recorded over 0.6m/s. The analysis results of tractive force showed that the ability of tractive force has to be $1.5{\sim}2.0N/m^2$ to prevent sediment in domestic Sanitary sewers. In conclusion, to prevent sediment it is necessary to apply a design velocity criteria higher than 0.6m/s in the large diameter collector sewer.
