  • IBM developed the MPI-IO, we call it MPI-2, on the General Parallel File System. We designed and implemented various Matrix Multiplication Benchmarks to evaluate its performances. The MPI-IO on the General Parallel File System shows four kinds of data access methods : the non-collective and blocking, the collective and blocking, the non-collective and non-blocking, and the split collective operation. In this paper, we propose benchmarks to measure the IO time and the computation time for the data access methods. We describe not only its implementation but also the performance evaluation results.

  • Local Arts Organization has performed various events in the provinces such as performances, exhibitions, competitions, and festivals, has been a place where local artists share information of arts, and has contributed greately to the development of art culture in the provinces for a long time. Records of Local Arts Organization are historical records showing the level and value of past and present local cultural arts, so systematic management and preservation is necessary. Also, since the records of Local Arts Organization are high in interest and demand of users, exhibition services are needed to show them effectively. Therefore, this study shows how to construct a Local Arts Organization based on CollectiveAccess, which is open software, to manage Local Arts Organization and provide exhibition services.

  • In order to overcome social exclusion and to integrate social housing, it is necessary to plan a communal space in urban collective housing so that residents can have belonging sense and community consciousness. In this study, it is necessary to consider the linkage between social integration and residential space, and to derive the characteristics of planning the collective housing for social integration. We analyzed the planning characteristics of MVRDV's communal spaces of collective housing and suggested a method of planning communal spaces of urban collective housing for social integration. Urban density is an important tool and background for MVRDV's design methodology. For this reason, MVRDV's collective housing is selected as a case study in this study. As a result of case analysis, openness and connection characteristics should be considered by using various devices such as glass exterior, balcony, and void in planning the communal space in urban collective housing for social integration. However, since it has appeared in many cases, it can be criticized that the application of this is merely a logic. In other words, it is possible to suggest that we should actively introduce less accessible access. This problem should be solved through more case studies.

  • In this paper, we propose the collective intelligence-based image shared market platform to provide a high quality of image saring services compared to that of the conventional image shared market platforms. The main contribution of this paper can be summarized as follows. First, the proposed platform provides the image sharing services with much more lower price than that of the conventional platforms since the price can be decided based on the buyers themself. Second, since the proposed platform provides very efficient web accessibility, the various buyer can access and evaluate the image efficiently. The results of performance evaluation show that the proposed image shared market platform can support the efficient image shared services efficiently.

  • The study aims to analyze the adaptation strategies and resilience of tobacco farmers to face unfavorable trading system. The research method refers to a qualitative approach with phenomenological models and case studies. The findings revealed tobacco farmers in Jember developed various adaptation strategies and resilience through farmer group organizations, partnerships, self-capacity building and access to financial institutions based on economic, social, cultural, and experience values from various sources and interactions among fellow tobacco farmers. The tobacco trading system, which is left to the market mechanism, results in low bargaining power of farmers, this encourages tobacco farmers to develop various adaptation and survival strategies, namely through collective activities of farmer groups, partnerships and self-development and access to financial institutions. Dealing with the unfavorable tobacco trading system, tobacco farmers do not switch to other commodity farming but adapt and make Jember a center for tobacco production in East Java and Indonesia. From this findings, it suggests to the government as the regulator does not only provide subsidies for tobacco farmers, but also must provide various technical assistance to increase the ability of tobacco farmers. More importantly, regulations must be made benefit tobacco farmers other than corporations so that equality can be enjoyed by tobacco economy players.

  • In the era of the pandemic, the importance of a wireless LAN environment has become increasingly important, especially as the era of smart working and non-face-to-face education has become a universal and daily routine. Smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs, smart watches, and wearable devices, collective referred to as wireless terminals, can be accessed anytime and anywhere through the internet, allowing for consistent and constant access to offices, factories, warehouses, shopping malls, railways, hotels, hospitals, schools, logistics centers, airports, exhibition halls, etc. This sort of access is currently being used in roads, parks, traditional markets, and ports. Since the release of the IEEE 802.11 Legacy Standard in 1997, Wi-Fi technology has been continuously supplemented and revised, and the standard has been continuously developed. In the era of smart working, the importance of efficient wireless deployment and scientific design has become more important. The importance of wireless in the smart factory, in the metaverse era, in the era of pursuing work and life that transcend time and space by using AR, VR, MR, and XR, it is more urgent to solve the shadow area of Wi-Fi. Through this study, we intend to verify the wireless failure problem of the xr training center and suggest improvement measures.

  • Recently the international transfer pricing became the most popular topic in accounting of the research as well as of the practice. Modern corporations have been experiencing a lot of changes in managerial control technique as their scale and scope of activities grows and the environment in which they operate changes rapidly. If there are internal transactions in a decentralized firm, the necessity of coordination among the divisions is inevitable. Transfer pricing in a decentalized company provides an excellent example of the coordinating role of information. One of the most important reason for a form to have a decentalized structure is the improved decision making at the lower level due to better access to information. International transfer pricing is not merely a problem of pricing but coordination of transfers and other collective or individual actions to derive rents from intergration. Such coordination can be achived through the performance evaluation scheme which is partly based upon transfer price.

  • In health care, the process of resource allocation becomes a controversial process of rationing, as scarce resources are allocated between the numerous health care interventions. Especially for the last few years, decisions to define and expand the benefit package of National Health Insurance have always become the object of fierce criticism. It is partly because we have not reached a collective agreement as to what the most important criteria for spending priorities are. This paper considers the procedures and the principles which could be used to determine rationing in health care, and emphasizes the need to have explicit principles which determine patient access to care and to have an evidence base to inform rationing decisions. Also, the need to set up a public committee is suggested to take rationing decisions on behalf of government and NHS and to present them as evidence-based decisions.

  • Electronic environment affects archival community to a great extent. It redefines virtually every stage of archival management form creation to current and semi-current use, to appraisal, and to preservation of records. Faced with the problems caused by ever increasing electronic records, the community is forced to reconsider traditional concepts, approaches, methodologies, even the basic paradigm embedded in archival theory and practice. The present paper discusses the need to reexamine principles and techniques of archival management in the light of digital environment. It also urges archives and archival institutions, the archival profession, or the archival community at large, to participate in this critical enterprise. Success in this endeavor will, eventually, pave the road toward creating, organizing, providing access to, preserving reliably and authentically electronic records and designing proper system for the societal collective memory in recorded digital information.

  • A microservice architecture that accommodates the heterogeneity of various development environments and enables flexible maintenance can secure business agility to manage services in line with rapidly changing requirements. Due to the nature of MSA, where communication between microservices within a service is frequent, the boundary security that has been used in the past is not sufficient in terms of security, and a Zerotrust system is required. In addition, as the size of microservices increases, definition of access control policies according to the API format of each service is required, and difficulties in policy management increase, such as unnecessary governance overhead in the process of redistributing services. In this paper, we propose a microservice architecture that centrally manages policies by separating access control decision and enforcement with a general-purpose policy engine called OPA (Open Policy Agent) for collective and flexible policy management in Zerotrust security-applied environments.
