Mean-Variance Analysis for Optimal Operation and Supply Chain Coordination in a Green Supply Chain

  • It is urgently-needed to construct a green supply chain (GSC) from collection of used products through recycling of them to sales of products using the recycled parts. Besides, it is necessary to consider the uncertainty in product demand as a risk in a GSC. This study proposes the optimal operations for a GSC with a retailer and a manufacturer. A retailer pays an incentive for collection of used products from customers and sells a single type of products in a market. A manufacturer produces the products ordered by the retailer, using recyclable parts with acceptable quality and compensates the collection cost of used products as to the recycled parts. This paper discusses the following risk attitudes: risk-neutral attitude, risk-averse attitude, and risk-prone attitude. Using mean-variance analysis, the optimal decisions for product order quantity, collection incentive, and lower limit of quality level, in the decentralized GSC (DGSC) and the integrated GSC (IGSC) are made. DGSC optimizes the utility function of each member. IGSC does that of the whole system. The analysis numerically investigates how (i) risk attitude and (ii) quality of recyclable parts affect the optimal operations. Supply chain coordination between GSC members to shift IGSC from DGSC is discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to set a characteristic design by analyzing formative properties for the hat and fashion image shown in fashion collections from the S/S season of 1998 to the F/W season of 2004 in recent seven years. For the study, the 96 stimuli which found frequently in fashion collection were selected. The examines for the image evaluation were women college students majoring fashion design related fields and living in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Gyeongsangnam-do. Data collection was performed in August 2004. As statistical methods for data analysis, internal consistency method, Factor Analysis, MANOVA were used. Based on the analysis of 31 pairs of adjectives for elucidating the total 96 stimuli which were devised by altering the types of garment, the relation between a garment and a color of hat, the types of hat, the length of hair, and the material and design of garment, five factors or attractiveness, gracefulness, concentration, cuteness, and hardness and softness were deduced. And it showed much difference in the types of garment, the relations between a garment and a color of hat, the types of hat, the length of hair, and the material and design of a garment.

효과적인 시민참여를 위한 기저귀 재활용 정책방안 - 노원구의 사용 후 기저귀 수거 시범사업 결과를 중심으로 - (Policy Options for Diaper Recycling to Foster Effective Citizens' Participation - Based on Collection Pilot Test of Soiled Diaper in Nowon-gu -)

  • 본 연구는 기저귀 재활용을 정책적으로 도입하고자 할 때 최적의 수거방안을 마련하고자 어린이집이 밀집된 지방자치단체와 수거 시범사업을 수행함으로써 수거에 따른 문제점을 파악하고 개선점을 도출해 보고자 하였다. 모니터링 결과 배출방식에 대한 명확한 안내와 배출량에 대한 면밀한 분석이 필요하고 언론홍보를 통한 기저귀 재활용의 중요성에 대한 교육적 역할이 중요하다는 점이 도출되었다. 또한 시범사업 참여자에게 인센티브 제공이 필요하며, 수거 인프라 관련 비용은 공공영역에서 부담해야 한다고 생각하고 있었다. 수거 비용 관련해서 본 시범운영에서는 기저귀 수거만 전문으로 할 수 있는 여건이 형성되지 않았기 때문에 경제성이 있는 수거비용이 산출되지 않았으나 향후 본 제도를 활성화하기 위해 수도권으로 확대할 경우 주 2회 빈도에 고효율 수집차량을 운행하면서 수거율 50% 수준의 수거모델을 운영한다면, 현행 음식물 쓰레기 처리비용 수준이하의 수거 비용을 확보하여 경제적 측면에서 효율적일 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 충분한 수거량 확보를 통한 안정적인 수거모델 구축과 함께 재활용 기술 개발이 진행된다면 기저귀 재활용을 통한 지속가능한 사회 구축에 한발 더 근접할 수 있을 것이다.

  • The ionic wind formed in a nonuniform electric field has been recognized to have a significant effect on particle collection in an electrostatic precipitator(ESP). Under normal operating conditions the effect of ionic wind is not pronounced. However, as the flow velocity becomes smaller, the ionic wind becomes pronounced and induces secondary flow, which has a significant influence on the flow field and the particle collecting efficiency. In this paper, experiments for investigating the effect of secondary flow on collection efficiencies were carried out by changing the flow velocities in 0.2-0.7m/s and the applied voltages in 9-11kV/cm. The particle size distributions and concentrations are measured by DMA and CNC. To analyze the experimental results, numerical analysis of electric filed in ESP was carried out. It shows that particle collection is influenced by two independent dimensionless numbers, $Re_{ehd}\;and\;Re_{flow}$ not by $N_{ehd}$ alone. When $Re_{flow}$, decreases for constant $Re_{ehd}$, the secondary flow prohibits the particle collection. But when $Re_{ehd}$ increases for constant $Re_{flow}$, it enhances the particle collection by driving the particles into the collection region.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다문화 이용자 밀집지역에 있는 도서관의 장서와 대출데이터를 정량적으로 분석하여 이용자들의 소장장서에 대한 장서활용도를 살펴보고 이를 토대로 다문화 도서관을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하는데 있다. 안산다문화작은도서관을 대상으로 2016년부터 2022년까지 장서·대출 이용 데이터를 분석하였다. 연도별, 언어별, 주제별로 소장도서수, 대출수, 비중, 장서회전율과 이용계수를 산출하여 장서이용도를 파악하였다. 개별도서별 누적대출수를 기준으로 누적 합계를 산출하여 대출 분포와 장서이용율 추이를 살펴보았다. 다문화 장서의 평가와 장서활용도를 기반으로 증거 기반의 장서개발 지침에 활용할 근거를 제공하고 다문화 도서관을 위한 정책을 제안하였다.

Analysis Model Evaluation based on IoT Data and Machine Learning Algorithm for Prediction of Acer Mono Sap Liquid Water

  • It has been increasingly difficult to predict the amounts of Acer mono sap to be collected due to droughts and cold waves caused by recent climate changes with few studies conducted on the prediction of its collection volume. This study thus set out to propose a Big Data prediction system based on meteorological information for the collection of Acer mono sap. The proposed system would analyze collected data and provide managers with a statistical chart of prediction values regarding climate factors to affect the amounts of Acer mono sap to be collected, thus enabling efficient work. It was designed based on Hadoop for data collection, treatment and analysis. The study also analyzed and proposed an optimal prediction model for climate conditions to influence the volume of Acer mono sap to be collected by applying a multiple regression analysis model based on Hadoop and Mahout.

우리나라 저출산 관련 연구 동향 분석 (Approaches to Studying Low Birth Rate in Korea: A Critical Review)

  • This study was dedicated to searching better course of low birth rate study in Korea by carefully analyzing past and present low birth rate researches. For this 179 studies(101 master thesis and 78 journal articles) from 1991 to 2009 were analyzed. Next, using SPSS Win 12.0, the research type, topic, participants, data collection and method of data analysis were compared to the studies' years of publication. The most frequently applied research approach, topic, sampling method, data collection procedure and data analysis method in the research was found to be a literature study, solution and prevention of low birth rate related policy, literature study, literacy analysis. In conclusion, low birth rate studies should become more diversified in terms of types of the research, data collection method, and data analysis. Additionally, research topics should become more realistic and specified. Moreover, research results should be verified before they are applied to the policy.

패션컬렉션에 나타난 네크리스의 조형적 특성 (Formative Characteristics of Necklace in Fashion Collection)

  • Jewelry has recognized as a part of independent formative arts of fashion with the change modern man's cognition for the fashion. It is a great important section to express fashion image. So, many corporations design and develop the jewelry by themselves to maxmize their fashion image. Among the so many kinds of jewelry, especially the necklace is located beneath the face and linked as a part of fashion, so it frequently has showed in Fashion Collection. Like this Fashion and jewelry enact each other and share their esthetic features but, it is insufficient the study of fashion linked with the jewelry. In this study, we defined the words which is using confusedly according to jewelry forms what researched by others. In addition, we tend to study the effect of that the form, hue and character of materials of necklace that is expressed in fashion collection influence fashion image. The method of this study is comprised with precedent studies and analysis of necklace photos in fashion collection. For the analysis of data, we implement content analysis and statistical analysis using SPAW Statistics 18(frequency analysis, percentage, cross-tabulations, $X^2$-test). Because the hue and the form of necklace take a great role to make fashion image with the sense of its eyesight, its effective coordination go up the delicate feelings with the form, hue and quality of the fashion. Especially, the hue is the essential element of formative characteristics to express visual image. The necklace had coordinated more frequently in S/S than F/W, it means that more light and simple fashion let ornamental beauty could express by the necklace. So, it is very effective things that we predict the trend of fashion, then, coordinate with well-matched necklace.

대학도서관의 장서개발 관련요소와 장서규모간의 관계분석 (An Analysis on Correlations between the Factors Related to Collection Development and Collection Size of University Libraries in Korea)

  • 이 연구는 86개 4년제 대학도서관을 대상으로 장서개발을 관련 요소와 유형별 장서규모간의 상관관계와 상관계수의 차의 유무를 구명한 것이다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 상관분석 결과 도서와 연속간행물은 설립자별에 따라 1∼2개 요소를 제외하고 모두 정(正)의 상관관계를, 비도서자료는 대부분 무상관을 나타냈다. 그리고 국공립대와 사립대의 상관계수 순위는 연속간행물이 61%의 일치도를 보인 반면, 도서는 거의 무일치로 나타났다. 상관계수간의 차이 분석결과 요소별로는 총 도서수만 상당수의 요소들이 뚜렷한 차를 나타냈고, 장서유형별로는 총 도서수와 연간 도서증가량간에는 대부분의 요소가 총 도서수와, 연간 도서증가량과 연속간행물간에는 2∼3개의 요소가 연속간행물과, 총 도서수와 연속간행물간에는 대부분의 요소가 총 도서수와 더 높은 관계를 나타냈다.

4대 해외 패션 컬렉션의 디자인 key-word 비교분석 - 2018년 패션 컬렉션을 중심으로 - (Comparative analysis on design key-word of the four major international fashion collections - focus on 2018 fashion collection -)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine fashion trends and the direction of the four fashion collections by analyzing the design key-words of the four major international fashion collections in 2018. The data of this study was collected by extracting the key-words from Marie Claire Korea in 2018, with the total of the collected data numbering 2,144. The data was analyzed by text mining using the R program and word-cloud, and a co-occurrence network analysis was conducted. The results of this study are as follows: First, the key-words of fashion collection designs in 2018 were fringe and ruffle detail, silk and denim fabric, vivid color, stripe and check pattern, pants suit item, and oversized silhouette, focusing on romanticism and sport. Second, seasonal characteristics of the fashion collections were pastel colors in S/S, primary and vivid colors in F/W. Details were embroidery and cutouts in S/S, patchwork and fringe in F/W. Third, the design trends of the four major fashion collections were presented in the Paris collection: stripes, check patterns, embroidery, lace, tailoring, draping, romanticism, and glamor. In the Milan collection, checks, prints, denim, and minidresses reflected sport and romanticism. The London collection included fringe, ruffles, floral patterns, flower patterns, and romanticism. The New York collections included vivid colors, neon colors, pastel colors, oversize silhouettes, bodysuits, and long dresses.
