GIS 기반 경기도 광역영역의 부지지진응답 특성 및 연계 지진 취약지역 분석 (Regional Assessment of Seismic Site Effects and Induced Vulnerable Area in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, Using GIS)

  • 최근 경주지진과 포항지진과 같이 중규모 이상 지진이 빈번이 발생함에 따라 피해기능성이 커질 수 있는 중서부 도시 지역들에 대한 종합적 지진재해 대책 수립의 필수기본 정보인 지역적 부지고유 지진응답 공간정보 예측의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 특히 경기도 지역을 대상으로 정량적 부지고유 지반응답 특성 파악의 필요성이 증대됨에 따라 대상 확장영역 내 전략적 지반조사 자료의 확보 및 연계적 부지특성 파악 연구가 다각도로 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 경기도 지진취약지역 도출 및 부지고유 지진응답특성 분석을 위한 위사결정 프레임웍을 제시하였다. 시추조사 자료 및 수치표고모델 등의 지표피복 자료를 수집함으로써 지반지진공학적 연계활용을 위한 GIS 플랫폼 기반의 Geo-Data를 구축하였다. 지구통계학적 공간보간 기법의 최적화 설계를 통해 지층분포 특성 및 연계 취약도 성분 도출을 위한 지반 공간그리드를 구축하였으며, 이를 통해 지진지반응답 매개변수의 공간구역화를 수행하였다. 이에 따라 경기도 지역의 정량적 부지효과를 고려한 경기도 맞춤형 지진방재대책 수립을 위한 기저 정보로서 활용하였다.

KASS 기준국 사이트 구축 (The Development for KASS Reference Station Site)

  • 한국형 SBAS (KASS)에서 기준국 사이트는 GPS/GEO 신호를 수집하고 감시하는 중요한 인프라 시설이다. SBAS 기준국은 상시 관측소보다 요구사항이 명확하고, 운영 단계에서 지속적인 유지보수가 필요하다. KASS 기준국 사이트 구축은 사이트 조사, 사이트 공사, 안테나 측지측량, 장비 설치 및 운영을 위한 준비가 필요하다. 사이트 조사는 사이트 가용 여부 및 시스템 성능 예측을 위한 단계이다. 기준국 사이트, 장비실 및 부대시설은 운영 기관이 사이트 요구 사항을 만족하도록 제공해야 한다. 기준국 안테나의 위치는 매우 중요한 정보로 측지측량을 통하여 정확도를 확보해야 한다. 정확한 위치의 안테나에서 측정된 측정치는 중앙처리국에 제공된다. 기준국의 정확한 위치는 향후 지속적인 위치 확인 및 업데이트를 수행해야한다. 기준국 사이트 구축이 완료 되면, 기준국 장비 설치 및 운영을 위한 업무를 수행한다. 본 논문에서는 7곳의 기준국 사이트의 구축 절차 및 결과를 제시하였다.

Diurnal Variation, Vertical Distribution and Source Apportionment of Carcinogenic Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Chiang-Mai, Thailand

  • Diurnal variation of particulate polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) was investigated by collecting PM10 at three different sampling altitudes using high buildings in the city center of Chiang-Mai, Thailand, during the relatively cold period in late February 2008. At site-1 (12 m above ground level), B[a]P concentrations ranged from 30.3-1,673 pg $m^{-3}$ with an average of $506{\pm}477\;pg\;m^{-3}$ contributing on average, $8.09{\pm}8.69%$ to ${\Sigma}PAHs$. Ind and B[b]F concentrations varied from 54.6 to 4,579 pg $m^{-3}$ and from 80.7 to 2,292 pg $m^{-3}$ with the highest average of $1,187{\pm}1,058\;pg\;m^{-3}$ and $963{\pm}656\;pg\;m^{-3}$, contributing on average, $19.0{\pm}19.3%$ and $15.4{\pm}12.0%$ to ${\Sigma}PAHs$, respectively. Morning maxima were predominantly detected in all observatory sites, which can be described by typical diurnal variations of traffic flow in Chiang-Mai City, showing a morning peak between 6 AM. and 9 AM. Despite the fact that most monitoring sites might be subjected to specific-site impacts, it could be seen that PAH profiles in Site-1 and Site-2 were astonishingly homogeneous. The lack of differences suggests that the source signatures of several PAHs become less distinct possibly due to the impacts of traffic and cooking emissions from ground level.

The Way of Improving the Working Environment for Female Workers on Construction Site Based on Construction Welfare Facilities

  • This paper reports problems of current working environment on construction site in South Korea from a female laborers' point of view and proposes solutions to improve the environment. To investigate and analyze the problems, a questionnaire survey and a focus group interview were conducted with 341 engineers and 557 laborers. Among them female engineers and female laborers were 51 and 136 respectively. Findings are the facilities related with welfare facilities such as lavatories, shower rooms, lounges and changing room, etc. for women were not sufficient and even not installed only for women because all of the planners for the facilities were men and The Standard of Estimate does not consider gender distinction. The data on the trade and the number of female laborers were not recorded and this study confirmed the number and the proportion of female laborers according to construction progress i.e. the proportion of female laborers were 0% ~ 11% (average 6%) at 26 construction sites having 2% ~ 92 % construction progress. In order to solve these problems, gender education for the welfare facility planner is required and the current Standard of Estimate should be revised considering female laborers after collecting the site data for the number of female laborers according progress and the increase in the construction cost should be reflected in the contract amount accordingly. Conclusively temporary work planning related with welfare facilities should be established and conducted in terms of gender equality at construction sites. In addition, improving working environment on construction sites for female laborers will enhance the company's image and also helping solve the labor shortage problem by women laborers engaging in construction industry easily.

  • 21세기 정보화 사회에 빠르게 대처해 나가는 학습자를 교육하기 위해서는 학습자 스스로 학습 계획을 세우고 다양한 방법으로 정보를 수집, 검토하여 문제를 해결해 나가는 능력을 기를 수 있는 교육이 이루어져야 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 구성주의적 정보 검색 학습 모형을 개발하여 학습 단계에 맞는 내용을 제시하고, 교수자와 학습자가 교수와 학습에 필요한 정보 검색을 원활하게 할 수 있도록 하고자 하였다. 또한 학습자가 자기 주도적으로 학습에 참여함과 동시에 구성원과 상호 작용을 통한 협동 학습을 가능하게 하며, 최신의 다양한 정보를 공유하고 교환할 수 있는 사이트 구현에 목적을 두었다.

건설현장 고령근로자의 안전배치 방안에 관한 연구 (Reasonable Assignment of Aged People at Construction Site)

  • "low and old age trend" is a big social national problem in korea but also in foreign countries. The Government pursues a policy for aged people to take part in construction site as labours. Low childbirth and avoidance of 3D work kinds lead to exposure of aged workers to industry work places. According to korea department of labour, it is expected that 18% of total economic activity people in 2008 to 27.2% in 2018 be increased with age of more than 55 old years. Therefore, It is needed that more countermeasures for old workers should be taken for safer work conditions. This old workers with more than 55 old years contain major portion of accident occurrence in construction industry. It is found that accident rate in construction industry can be decreased if appropriate technical safety training is provided to them who wish to work at construction sites. Statistic analysis such as frequency, cross, logistic regression using program package SPSS 13.0 has been made after collecting questionnaire survey of more than 330 workers at construction sites.

  • 최근 웹 2.0에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 대부분의 웹 사이트에서 RSS를 지원하고 있다. RSS 구독기는 여러 웹 사이트에서 제공되는 RSS 포맷의 콘텐츠를 한곳으로 수집하여 사용자가 해당 웹 사이트를 직접 방문하지 않고도 관심분야의 최신 정보를 얻을 수 있도록 도와주는 소프트웨어 어플리케이션이다. 본 논문에서는 RSS 구독기의 구현을 위하여 비동기 방식인 Ajax와 동적 스크립트 언어인 JSP/Servlet을 이용해서 개발하였다. RSS 포맷 1.0과 2.0대를 지원할 수 있게 하였고, 유동적인 Ajax기반 메뉴들과 카테고리 항목 및 사용자 편의를 생각한 기능들을 추가하여 개발하였다.

발전소 방류구의 흡입력을 이용한 거품수거 및 거품액 처리 연구 (A Study on the Foam Wastewater Treatment and Foam Collection by Inhalation Force at the Outlet of Power Plants)

  • Power Plant is requested, by environmental bodies and fisherman, to correct the pollution of coastal area due to the outflow of foam from the outlet of the power plants. Foam wastewater cause a lot of environmental problems, expecially in aesthetic points of view. Therefore, It is needed to be collect from the stream into nearby ocean, and the collected foams should be treated before being discharged into nearby ocean. The most effective and feasible treatment method researched for the effective treatment of foam wastewater generated at the power plants. The result of the test is confirmed with collecting Foam wastewater by inhalation force. The treatment pilot ($3m^3/hr$) collected wastewater was operated by Biological degradation method(Aerobic/anaerobic Processes) for approximately two months. It was removed SS, COD, nutrient(T-P, T-N), etc. The System is expected successfully by Minimizing the operating costs such as electricity, repair expenses, chemicals and supplies expenses.

2006년 집중호우에 의한 홍천지역의 산사태 발생 사례 연구 (A Case Study on Occurrence of Landslide by Heavy Rainfall in Hongcheon Area in 2006)

  • This paper is a result of investigating causes and main characteristics of landslides, occurred at Hongcheon area in Gangwondo during July in 2006, by collecting relevant data and visiting site. The main cause of landslides in this area has been found to be saturation of the ground wetted by a series of precipitations during 10~13 July and the heavy rainfall during 15 July. The pattern of the landslides could be classified as translational failure, occurred at the boundary between the relatively thin weathered residual soil and the mother rock. By analyzing a number of failed slopes based on site visit and reviewing collected data, typical widths of failed slopes are in the range of 10~20m (minimum: 5m, maximum: 70m). Lengths of landslide area are in the wide range of 10~450m. Most of area are less than 20m in width and 100m in length so that their shapes are long and narrow, frequently observed in Korea, and their areas are relatively small size of around $1000m^2$. The inclinations of the failed slopes are in the range of $10{\sim}60^{\circ}$ while the most probable slope angle is about $20{\sim}25^{\circ}$.

Multipath Error Analysis and Scenario Generation for Verifying KRS Environment

  • KRS which is subsystem of Korea Augmentation Satellite System (KASS) performs a role of collecting and monitoring GPS signals. In order to generate the accurate correction message, the site which meets the requirements should be selected and verification to meet each requirement should be accompanied. When the sites are selected, the environmental considerations are EMI, clear horizon (CH) and multipath. Of these, EMI and CH can be checked for satisfaction by instrumentation, but multipath error is difficult to predict. Therefore, multipath error analysis for the installation position of actual antenna at each KRS site should be preceded, and multipath scenario should be generated for each location to analyze the effects of the resulting system performance. In this paper, based on satellite signals collected from each KRS sites, the method for analyzing multipath error in each KRS sites is described, and the multipath error is analyzed. Also to perform an analysis of the effects on system performance due to multipath error, multipath error modeling is performed for the generation of simulation scenarios.
