Many construction activities are related because they share the information of working methods and resources. Generally, the design information for coupled activities needs to be constantly collaborated in the different teams. To achieve the improvement in team collaboration, it is necessary to identify the relative coupled activities in the design teams. The activity and work partitioning arrangements are also required to accommodate the appropriate team members. This paper presents an integral method to be an evaluation in improving the collaboration for teams partitioning. A model, Team Partitioning Method (TPM) was developed to clarify the relationships between activities in a team. The results show the applicability of TPM model in team partitioning for design collaboration.
ThruBook is a collaborative work platform based on ebook documents, supporting synchronized group work sessions. Using this platform, users can participate in a group session based on a same ebook, and share group actions synchronously. In this paper, we consider annotations as all kinds of additional data on ebooks, including bookmarks, memos, and figures. Also, model shared actions such as sharing/navigating these annotations. As a result, we could model all collaborative actions as annotations, and propose a collaborative work model as communicating annotation objects between session participants. This approach implemented in ThruBook platform could easily model shared actions in collaborative systems. The collaborative work platform implemented in ThruBook can be applied to other types of collaborative work systems.

It is a very difficult task to establish a collaborative procedure in a new business that requires multilateral collaboration or to revise the regulation by analyzing and proving objectively the problems in the collaborative process conducted already by multilateral collaboration. In this paper, we proposed an optimization model for collaborative process to establish the operation procedure between collaborative parties using PERT/CPM network diagram which allows us to calculate the processing time. In order to verify the effectiveness and usefulness of our model for the collaboration process optimization developed in this study, we applied the developed collaborative procedure to student selection of the work-and-study-in-parallel course associated with a degree executed by Ministry of Employment and Labor. This study can be useful not only for newly establishing or reconfiguring collaborative procedures but also for standardizing the business procedures for building information systems between collaborative organizations.
A computer supported cooperative work(CSCW) system is a collaboration system, which enables cooperative works among various participants through the Internet. A collaborative virtual reality environment(CRVE) can be used in scientific research and cultural research because it can provide users with virtual experiences of three dimensional molecular models in cyberspace. However, general CVRE systems are only focused on synchronous collaborations. We propose a remote collaboration system, which provides synchronous and asynchronous cooperation in collaborative virtual reality environment. The proposed system can be applied to bioscience experiments such as molecular docking process, and crystallography simulation. The proposed system is evaluated in performance comparison with previous approaches.
Building Information Modeling, which was applied mainly in the construction sector, is expanding to the road sector, and the government recently recommends preparing individual application guidelines considering the characteristics of detailed fields such as railways, ports, and complexes through BIM implementation guidelines. Compared to general construction projects, a lot of the works such as signals, electricity, and power, and the railway BIM 2030 roadmap has been presented to apply BIM to railway construction projects that require business consultation and work environment review with various local governments, and pilot projects are in operation. Unlike a general building, in which the construction begins after the detailed design is completed, in the railway project, the detailed design of other works proceeds along with the roadbed construction. Because construction and design work together, railways need to coordinate detailed engineering interfaces such as trajectories, signals, and power, and the application of BIM in design interface coordination has the advantage of maximizing the effectiveness of pre-review. Overseas railway construction projects actively used BIM to adjust design interfaces and had a collaboration process to modify BIM models and create construction details from the revised models through regular meetings with suppliers. Therefore, this study aims to derive the factors necessary for establishing a BIM collaboration environment based on a survey of practitioners as a preliminary step for establishing the BIM collaboration process of the railway construction project.

While it is these days, and is increased importance as opposed to design management in managing a construction business necessity as opposed to collaboration business design management between collaboration business business company is regarded as important. An object was put in deriving a flow of a design process about the design management business and a grasp, management element as opposed to management by reason of the first, building design business ability improvement by a study of a book hereby, and an alternative plan of collaboration business design management for use in design optimization of difficulty of a disagreement, workshop modification city design information chase between books by lack of collaboration business between things of each minimization, company was shown with, air in a base in problems grasp as opposed to a collaboration business design by the second" work-site operations and a design process management element. Therefore, this thesis is going to show expected effect of a project about collaboration business design management through systematic practical use about a collaboration business design.
The purpose of this study is to study the impact of knowledge sharing behavior, self-efficacy, team collaboration, and job autonomy on organizational innovation among the smart work characteristic factors for members of small and medium-sized venture companies, and to study the differences according to generation/digital literacy level. It is to provide implications so that it can be reflected in the organizational innovation of venture companies. As a result of the analysis, it was found that knowledge sharing behavior and team collaboration had an effect on organizational innovation, while self-efficacy and job autonomy did not affect organizational innovation. In addition, as a moderating effect, it was confirmed that there were differences in self-efficacy and team collaboration according to the level of digital literacy, and differences in knowledge sharing behavior, self-efficacy, and team collaboration by generation. Therefore, in this study, we identified important influencing factors for organizational innovation according to changes in the smart work environment of small and medium-sized venture companies, and suggested ways to secure corporate competitiveness. It suggests that organizational innovation can be strengthened only by confirming the relationship between organizational innovation and finding ways to develop and utilize differentiated capabilities.
The purpose of this research is to classify that fashion and art in the twentieth century broadened the creative field by individually applying each other's ideas or through collaboration. This paper analyses the work of individual artists and fashion designers who created work on the boundaries of fashion and art. These samples are selected to extract features related to specific periods as it is proposed that contemporary creation has been developed from a combination of fashion and art, sharing their distinct concerns. Accordingly, this research will focus on the collaboration between fashion and art in the twentieth century from the aspect of 'fashion into art'/'art into fashion' in order to analyse the historical flow, and thereby examine the relationship between fashion and art. The cross-fertilization between fashion and art was initiated as an imitation of form in the early twentieth century, and led to a 'new cross-disciplinary form' which exists on the boundary of fashion and art. This paper considers the relationship between fashion and art from the perspective of sharing intrinsic concepts and the creation of a new creative sphere. It analyses the characteristics of the works of fashion designers and artists whose works lie on the boundary between fashion and art.

In this paper, we propose contents sharing model for consolidating distributed collaboration environments. We provide the combined model by integrating different features-scalable resolution display walls resource, sharing contents on local and remote, multi-user interaction, and access control. There is a benefit that every user can interact within an environment, but overlaps would occur because of multi-user interaction. To manage overlap issue, the model includes access control. Access control would interfere flow of work process. Therefore, we conduct user study to evaluate these two factors of the model. The result shows that the proposed contents sharing model makes it possible to concentrate in a work.

Traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) research has recently focused on the use of rat and mouse models for in vivo SCI experiments. Such small rodent SCI models are invaluable for the field, and much has been discovered about the biologic and physiologic aspects of SCI from these models. It has been difficult, however, to reproduce the efficacy of treatments found to produce neurologic benefits in rodent SCI models when these treatments are tested in human clinical trials. A large animal model may have advantages for translational research where anatomical, physiological, or genetic similarities to humans may be more relevant for pre-clinically evaluating novel therapies. Here, we review the work carried out at the University of British Columbia (UBC) on a large animal model of SCI that utilizes Yucatan miniature pigs. The UBC porcine model of SCI may be a useful intermediary in the pre-clinical testing of novel pharmacological treatments, cell-based therapies, and the "bedside back to bench" translation of human clinical observations, which require preclinical testing in an applicable animal model.
