방송 비디오 등장인물 자동 분석 시스템 (Automatic Cast-list Analysis System in Broadcasting Videos)

  • 본 논문에서는 등장인물 검출 및 인식과 함께 등장인물의 출연 구간 분석이 가능한 시스템을 제안한다. 드라마, 스포츠와 같은 방송 비디오는 그 특성상 인물이 중심이 되며 각 시점에 등장하는 주요 인물은 방송용 비디오의 중요한 특징이 된다. 본 논문에서는 비디오에서 등장하는 주요 인물을 자동으로 분석하는 ACAV(Automatic Cast-list Analysis in Videos) 시스템을 제안한다. ACAV 시스템은 등장인물을 자동 검출하여 인물 DB에 등록하는 FAGIS(FAce reGIStration)와 생성된 인물 DB을 이용하여 등장인물을 분석하는 FACOG(FAce reCOGnition)로 구성된다. 기존의 상용화된 등장인물 분석 시스템인 FaceIt과의 성능 비교를 통해 ACAV의 성능을 검증하였다. 얼굴 검출 실험에서 ACAV의 얼굴 검출률은 84.3%로 FaceIt 보다 약 30% 높았고, 얼굴 인식 실험에서도 ACAV의 얼굴 인식률은 75.7%로 FaceIt 보다 27.5% 높은 성능을 보였다. ACAV 시스템은 방송 멀티미디어 공급자를 위한 대용량 비디오 관리 시스템으로 이용될 수 있으며 일반 사용자를 대상으로 한 PVR(Personal Video Recorder), 모바일 폰 등의 비디오 관리 시스템으로도 이용될 수 있다.

요양병원 입원노인의 환자군 분류에 따른 자원이용수준 (Resource use of the Elderly in Long-term Care Hospital sing RUG-III)

  • Purpose: This study was to classify elderly in long-term care hospitals for using Resource Utilization Group(RUG-III) and to consider feasibility of payment method based on RUG-III classification system in Korea. Method: This study designed by measuring resident characteristics using the Resident Assessment Instrument-Minimum Data Set(RAI-MDS) and staff time. The data were collected from 382 elderly over sixty-year old, inpatient in the five long-term care hospitals. Staff time was converted into standard time based on the average wage of nurse and aids. Result: The subjects were classified into 4 groups. The group of Clinically Complex was the largest(46.3%), Reduced Physical Function(27.2%), Behavior Problem(17.0%), and Impaired Cognition(9.4%). The average resource use for one resident in terms of care time(nurses, aids) was 183.7 minutes a day. Relative resource use was expressed as a case mix index(CMI) calculated as a proportion of mean resource use. The CMI of Clinically Complex group was the largest(1.10), and then Reduced Physical Function(0.93), Behavior Problem(0.93), and Impaired Cognition(0.83) followed. The difference of the resource use showed statistical significance between major groups(p<0.0001). Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the RUG-III classification system differentiates resources provided to elderly in long-term care hospitals in Korea.

A Literature Study on Usage of and Satisfaction Levels with Combined Treatment Including Oriental and Western Medicine

  • Objective: This study aimed to summarize and analyze the usage of and the satisfaction levels with combined treatment including Oriental and Western medicine. Methods: We searched studies on the usage of and the satisfaction levels with combined treatment including Oriental and Western medicine over the past 10 yrs (2001-2011) from 3 Korean databases (National Assembly Library, Research Information Service System, and National Discovery for Science Leaders). The reviewers also conducted a summarizing analysis by sampling the literature according to the type of study, study period, region, study subjects, sample size, type of sampling, research method, data analysis, study instruments, main results, etc. Results: When the main results of six studies on combined treatment usage and satisfaction levels were considered together, the most important decisive factor in determining the usage of combined treatment was the illness of the patient, followed by the patient's occupation, sex, age, education, marital status, religion, treatment cost, and treatment results. In addition, the most important factor that determined satisfaction levels with combined treatment was age, followed by education, religion, income, health status, treatment procedures, staff attitude, and cleanliness. Conclusions: Elderly patients with musculoskeletal, cerebro-vascular, and circulatory system illnesses are more likely to prefer combined treatment over independent Oriental or Western treatment and are more likely to request specialized, adjusted medical care.

  • This is a research of an adaptive longitudinal control system for situated cognition in wide range, traffic accidents reduction and safety driving environment by integrated system which graft a road infrastructure's information based on IT onto the intelligent vehicle combined automobile and IT technology. The road infrastructure installed by laser scanner in intersection, speed limited area and sharp curve area where is many risk of traffic accident. The road infra conducts objects recognition, segmentation, and tracking for determining dangerous situation and communicates real-time information by Ethernet with vehicle. Also, the data which transmitted from infrastructure supports safety driving by integrated with laser scanner's data on vehicle bumper.

방문간호를 통한 일상생활동작 수행능력 개선에 대한 사례보고: 오마하시스템을 활용하여 (Improvement of Activities of Daily Living through Visiting Nursing Care under Long-Term Care Insurance: A Case Report using the OMAHA System)

  • Purpose: This study was done to report nursing case for ADL improvement of elders who have CVA(Cerebrovascular Accident) sequelae. Methods: The client had registered in the C visiting nursing center after being decided a long-term care Grade 2. Data were collected through consultation logs for recipients, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) records, fall risk assessment (Huhn) sheets, decubitus ulcer risk assessment (Braden Scale) sheets, cognition assessment (K-MMSE) sheets, long-term care benefit provision records, and interviews with visiting nurse. Data were collected and analyzed according to the Omaha System problem classification. The intervention scheme and the problem rating scale for performance were applied to present the case for home-visit nursing. Results: The client registered in August, 2018, was provided home-visit nursing care once a week as of September 2020. ADL, cognitive levels and decubitus ulcer risks were found to have improved. Conclusion: This case report presents the value of classifying nursing problems and checking nursing intervention provided to patients with problems of ADL. The presentation of home-visit nursing cases applying a standardized nursing problem classification scheme for clients with various problems showed that a high quality level of care is guaranteed and evidence-based nursing can be provided by visiting nurses.

자동차 항법장치의 화면표시형태에 대한 인간공학적 비교 (Comparison of Map Display Styles of Vehicle Navigation System on Human Factors)

  • The vehicle navigation system is developed for helping driver to retrieve driving information more easily and fastly. Navigation System informs driver many pieces of driving information - roadway structure and system, on-line traffic condition, the position of vehicle, route guidance, destination and other information service. As the style of information is diverse and the amount of information is large, driver may have mental and visual overload. The display of information can disturb the driver's attention and this can cause accidents. This state is caused by the defect of human-machine interactions. When the navigation system is designed, human factors - cognitive, judgment, operating - must be considered. The display style must be designed simply and easily, not to be obstacle of human -machine interface. In this study, outside-in view display style and inside-out view display style are compared each other. Two factors are measured. One is cognitive factor-time of cognition on information that is displayed by screen display, cognition error rate. The other is image of screen display - subject's feeling about several styles of display, degree of subject's preference. The prototype of roadway is four kinds - Cross, T-cross, Y-cross and O-cross. Roadway display for test is taken from paper maps. Traffic condition display style, vehicle position display style and route guidance display style are taken from current display style. Traffic condition display style is symbol. Vehicle position display style and route guidance display style are described as color and symbol. The test on screen display is implemented doing given tasks. Then the test is analyzed statistically, The result of test analysis gives the guideline to the designer for the map display of the vehicle navigation system.

대한민국조경대상의 정체성 해석 (A Study on the Identity of the Korean Landscape Architectural Award)

  • 본 연구는 도시의 기반환경을 다루는 조경분야와 공공영역 간 협력체계의 구축이 크게 요청되는 오늘날, 조경계의 최고권위 시상제도인 조경대상의 정체성을 고찰한 내용이다. 연구방법론으로 내적 자기인식으로서의 동일성과 외적 상관적 인식으로서의 개별성으로 구성되는 정체성의 세부특성을 활용하였으며, 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 조경대상은 지자체와 공공기관을 시상하는 조경분야의 유일한 상으로서의 내적 가치를 보유한다. 그러나 관련되는 여러 시상제도와 비교할 때 지속성 측면에서의 짧은 연원과 부분적으로 파행을 겪은 점, 제도운용방식의 개편으로 공공영역에 대한 관심이 반감될 가능성이 야기되고 있는 점, 사회적 권위와 부합되는 정도의 참여와 호응도를 형성하지 못하는 점의 취약한 측면들이 발견되었다. 또한 오늘날 녹색도시를 지향하는 패러다임에 의해 도시계획분야가 시행하고 있는 도시대상의 세부분야가 상정하고 있는 가치들과 상당부분 중복되는 측면 역시 노정된다. 이에 조경대상은 도시계획분야의 도시대상과 비교한 수월성을 더욱 강화하면서 특화와 발전전략을 구축해 나가야 할 것으로 판단된다. 즉, 국토해양부에 국한되지 않는 다양한 행정영역과의 공조체계의 강화가 바로 그것으로, 이는 다양한 영역과 분야를 포괄하는 학문과 실무분야로서의 성격을 더욱 공고히 하는 측면과도 상통될 것이다. 이렇듯 다양하게 복합되어 있는 세부특성으로서의 정체성은 조경대상의 경쟁력 강화방안과 직결되는 것으로, 조경분야 내 외부의 폭넓은 관심과 논의, 그리고 민주적인 공론화과정을 필요로 하고 있다.

공무원사서의 집단자존감과 직무환경 지원 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Collective Self-esteem of Public Librarian Servant and Supporting Factors in their Work Environment)

  • 이 연구는 한국의 관계 지향적 집단주의 문화에서 '공무원사서'의 집단자존감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하고자 하였다. 모기관(상부기관) 인식, 직무환경에서의 상사-동료의 지원, 인구통계학적 요소 등을 요인으로 설정하고, 이를 토대로 각 요인들 간의 영향관계에 대한 가설을 설정하여 이를 연구모형으로 구성하였다. 자료 수집은 설문지 방법을 통해 전국 공공도서관에서 근무하는 공무원사서를 대상으로 이루어졌다. 2020년 4월 3일부터 2020년 5월 14일까지, 모기관을 지방자치단체나 교육청, 문화체육관광부로 두고 있는 전국의 공공도서관의 공무원 사서를 대상으로 진행되었으며, 559개 기관에서 301명의 공무원사서의 응답을 기초로 하였다. 분석 결과, 공무원사서의 모기관 인식은 집단자존감과 직무환경에서 상사와 동료의 지원을 인식하는데 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 상사와 동료의 지원은 집단자존감의 하위요인 중 공적집단자존감과 관계성 집단자존감에 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 관계 지향적 집단주의 문화를 가진 한국사회에서 여러 집단과 관계를 맺는 존재로서 '사서'를 다루었다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 연구의 결과, 공무원사서가 거대한 공무원 조직의 하부조직으로 존재했을 때, 자신의 사회적 가치를 상대적으로 낮게 평가한다는 것은 개선되어야 직업문화라는 점과 더불어 공무원사서가 공무원으로서의 역할과 사서로서의 역할의 균형을 찾아야 한다는 점을 시사한다.

  • In this paper, we describe the system to recognize the six digit postal number of mails using neural network. Our zip-code recognition system consists of a preprocessing procedure for the original captured image, a segmentation procedure for separating an address block area with a shape, and recognition procedure for the cognition of a postal number. we extract the feature vectors that are the input of a neural network for the recognition process based on an area optimizing and an image thinning processing. The neural network classifies the zip-code in the mail and the recognized zip-code is verified through the zip-code database.
