Analysis of High Speed Linear Motor Feed System Characteristics (리니어모터 응용 고속 이송시스템 특성분석에 관한 연구)

  • A brushless linear motor is suitable for a high-accuracy servo mechanism. It is also suitable for operation with higher speed and precision. Since it does not involve some sort of mechanical coupling, linear driving force can be applied directly. Basic models including magetomotive force and electromotive forces are introduced and simplified. Both conventional PID and fuzzy controllers are implemented and performance results using those controllers are compared. Along with better simulated performance observed using fuzzy controller, further fabrication is to be included with various empirical results. Several system operational characteristics have been observed. Typical nonlinearities as friction, cogging and torque or thrust ripple that might deteriorate system performance would be tackled using presumably effective method such as neural network based learning controller.

  • This paper proposes an optimal design method for the shape optimization of the permanent magnets (PM) of an in-wheel permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) to reduce the cogging torque considering a total harmonic distortion (THD) and a root mean square (RMS) value of back-EMF. In this method, the Kriging model based on a design of experiment (DOE) is applied to interpolate the objective function in the spaces of design parameters. The optimal design method for the PM of an in-wheel PMSM has to consider multi-variable and multi-objective functions. The developed design method is applied to the optimization for the PM of an in-wheel PMSM.

  • Latin Hypercube sampling strategy(LHS)는 출력변수에 의한 목적함수들의 기댓값의 추정을 위한 입력변수를 생성하는데 사용할 수 있는 샘플링 포인트 추출 방법으로, 샘플링 포인트의 "quality"를 향상시켜준다. multi-objective Pare optimization 에 근거한 LHS와 ($1+\lambda$) 진화기법으로 이루어진 최적화 algorithm을 제안 하였고, 이를 이용하여 6MW BLDC 전동기의 코깅토크를 최소화 하였다, 총 2단계의 최적 설계를 통해 초기형상의 코킹토크에 비해 19%로 감소하였다.

  • This paper deals with a study on characteristic of inductance on spoke type motor. The rotor and stator is redesigned as rounding teeth of stator and pole surface of rotor. Result, a shape of air-gap is changed and the cogging torque is reduced greatly. In consequence, the inductance of spoke type motor is changed. The Finite Element Analysis(FEM) is used to characteristics.

  • Distribution of Permanent magnet used in the spindle motor on the ODD is arranged by magnetizer. In general, permanent magnet is putted between yoke and back yoke of magnetizer so that symmetric magnetization distribution. But the magnet has unsymmetric magnetization distribution because of eccentricity of the yoke in mass production. So, in this paper we discuss the effect of asymmetric magnetization distribution on back EMF and cogging torque of the spindle motor.

  • 최근 BLDC 모터는 널리 사용되고 있지만, 불필요한 코깅 토크가 발생된다. 본 논문에서는 BLDC 모터의 코깅 토크 감소 방법을 설계하고 실험 하였다. 이론을 바탕으로 한 이 방법은 모터의 Magnet을 움직여 고주파성분을 제거하여 코깅 토크를 감소시키는 방법이다. 4극 24슬롯 BLDC 모터를 이용하여 Flux2D로 시물레이션 하고 계산 결과를 얻었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Radial flux density($B_r$)를 고려하여 매입형 영구자석 동기 전동기(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, IPMSM)에서 진동, 소음 발생의 원인이 되는 코깅토크를 최적화하는 방법을 제시한다. Maxwell Stress Method에 의하면 토크는 $B_r$에 비례한다. 따라서 $B_r$과 토크의 상관관계를 이용하여 코깅토크를 저감시켰다. 코깅토크가 가장 큰 회전자의 위치에서 회전자 표면의 $B_r$을 확인한 후 에 노치(Notch)를 적용할 위치를 선정하였다. 그리고 제안한 방법이 매입형 영구자석 동기 전동기 모델에서 효과적으로 코깅토크를 저감시키는 것을 유한요소법을 통해 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 매입형 영구자석 전동기의 코깅토크 저감을 위해 회전자 표면에 노치를 적용하여 최적 설계를 수행하였다. 최적 설계를 위해 전역 최적점의 빠른 탐색이 가능한 크리깅 근사모델을 이용한 진화전략 알고리즘이 사용되었다. 설계 변수인 노치 크기에 대해 코깅 토크를 목적 함수로 두고 최적 설계를 진행하였으며, 이를 통해 찾은 전역 최적점과 지역 최적점 가운데 역기전력 특성을 고려하여 최종 설계안을 도출하였다.

  • This paper presents the optimal design of BLDC motor keeping the average torque and cogging toruqe of the initial model while minimizing the volume of magnet pole by FEM and Taguchi method. Experimental tests are performed by Finite element method, and the second order polynomial equations are obtained from FEM results due to design parameter variation referred to orthogonal arrays by Taguchi. The presented optimization shows a big reduction of computation time and a largely reduced volume of magnet pole.
