THE EFFECT OF INTERNAL STRESS ON THE SOFT MAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF PERMALLOY THIN FILMS

  • The stress in Permalloy thin films fabricated by rf magnetron sputtering on the Si (100) substrates has been investigated with various deposition parameters such as the film thickness, argon pressure, and rf power. The internal stress changes from compressive to tensile with higher input power and argon pressure. The cause of stress variations with these deposition parameters is discussed in terms of thermal and/or intrinsic stress changes. Low coercive force is obtained from Permalloy thin films at a condition of low compressive stress.

해군력이 해양 영토분쟁의 해결에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Influence of Naval Power upon the Resolution of Maritime Territorial Disputes)

  • As the South China Sea maritime dispute illustrates, when considering the place where maritime claims occur, states do not have many choices to respond to maritime claims in which disputed areas are located far away from the land and are surrounded by the sea. As Mearsheimer (2014) points out, the sea stops power projection. Therefore, in order to adopt coercive as well as peaceful settlement policies to deal with maritime claims, states need to overcome obstacles (the sea) to project power. It means that if states want to conduct a specific foreign policy action, such as negotiating maritime borderlines or arguing sovereignty on islands, they need a tool (naval power) to coerce or to persuade the opponent. However, there are lack of research that studies maritime claims from the perspective of naval power. This research project fills this gap based on naval power. How do relative levels of naval power and (dis) parities of naval power influence the occurrence of MIDs over maritime claims? Naval power is a constitutive element during maritime claims. If disputants over maritime claims have required naval power to project their capability, it means that they have the capability to apply various ways, such as aggressive options including MIDs, to accomplish their goals. So, I argue that when two claimants have enough naval power to project their capabilities, the likelihood of MIDs over maritime claims increases. Given that one or both states have a certain level of naval power, how does relative naval power between two claimants influence the management of maritime claims? Based on the power transition theory, I argue that when the disparities of relative naval power between claimants becomes distinctive, militarized conflicts surrounding maritime territory are less probable. Based on the ICOW project which codes maritime claims from 1900 to 2001, the empirical results of the Poisson models show if both claimants have projectable naval power, the occurrence of MIDs over maritime claims increases. In addition, the result shows that when disputants maintain similar relative naval powers, they are more likely to initiate MIDs over maritime claims. To put it differently, if naval capabilities' gap between two claimants becomes larger, the probability of the occurrence of MIDs decreases.

중국 가전유통경로에서 한국제품 현지 판매업체와 도매업체간 갈등 및 영향전략이 성과에 미치는 영향: 관계 질의 조절효과 (The Impact of Conflict and Influence Strategies Between Local Korean-Products-Selling Retailers and Wholesalers on Performance in Chinese Electronics Distribution Channels: On Moderating Effects of Relational Quality)

  • 본 논문의 주된 연구목적은 중국 가전유통시장에서 한국제품을 판매하는 현지 소매업체와 도매업체간의 갈등, 의존, 영향전략 및 성과간의 관계를 분석하고, 특히 '��시'(關係, guanxi)의 조절효과를 분석함으로써 중국에 진출하는 한국 가전기업들에게 효율적인 유통경로 관리방안을 제시하고자 하는 것이다. 제안한 연구모형과 가설들을 검증하기 위하여 중국 후베이성(湖北省), 후난성(湖南省), 쟝시성(江西省), 허난성(河南省) 등의 중남(中南)지역에서 한국 가전제품을 판매하는 소매상을 직접 방문하여 최종 97개의 판매업체 자료를 수집하였다. 구조방정식 모형과 조절 회귀분석을 통해 알아낸 분석 결과를 연구주제별로 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국제품 현지판매업체가 지각하는 도매상과의 목표불일치는 기대대로 소매상의 갈등을 유의하게 높이었으나, 역할모호성은 갈등에 유의한 영향을 주지 못하였다. 둘째, 갈등나선형 이론과 일치하게 현지판매업체가 도매업체에 대해 의존성이 증대될수록 현지판매업체가 지각하는 갈등은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 도매업체가 시행하는 정보교환, 권고 등의 비강압적 영향전략은 갈등을 조장하지 않으면서, 현지판매업체들의 거래만족 및 재무성과를 제고하는데 일익을 담당하였다. 반면에 도매업체가 사용하는 위협, 법적 호소 등의 강압적 영향전략은 갈등을 심각하게 높이면서도 성과에는 도움이 되지 못하였다. 넷째, 중국 가전산업의 도매상과 소매상간에 형성된 '��시'(關係, guanxi) 즉 관계의 질의 조절효과를 분석해보면, 먼저 상호신뢰, 몰입 등의 관계의 질은 비강압적 영향전략이 성과에 미치는 영향에 조절변수 역할을 하지 못해, 비강압적 영향전략과 관계 질은 서로 영향을 받지 않고 독립적으로 성과를 높이는데 사용될 수 있는 전략임을 알 수 있다. 반면에 관계의 질은 강압적 영향전략이 성과에 미치는 영향에 조절변수 역할을 하였다. 즉 관계의 질이 잘 형성되어 있다면 적대적 특성을 가진 강압적 영향전략이 사용되더라도 관계 질의 순기능 역할로 관계 질이 낮은 경우보다 소매상이 지각하는 성과를 높이는 것을 알 수 있다. 다섯째, 갈등의 경우도 관계의 질은 갈등이 성과에 미치는 영향에 조절변수 역할을 하였다. 관계의 질이 높게 형성되어 있다면, 갈등이 높은 상황이 발생하더라도 역기능은 줄어들어, 거래관계의 질이 높은 소매상은 갈등을 보다 긍정적으로 받아들여 시너지 효과를 창출함으로써 관계의 질이 낮은 소매상보다 성과를 높일 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 결론적으로, 중국 가전산업에서 거래 관계 질이 높게 형성되어 있다면 강압적 영향전략과 갈등이 성과에 미치는 역기능을 상쇄할 수 있어 상거래에서 '��시'(關係, guanxi)를 통한 거래관계의 질이 중요함을 확인하였다.

CLN-PZT 세라믹스의 전기, 광학 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Electrical and Optical Characteristics of CLN-PZT Ceramics)

  • This paper was studied on the effects of Ca-La-Nb substitution and Zr/Ti ratio variation to Pb(Zr, Ti)$O_3$ system on structural, electrical, optical and sound level characteristics in order to develope the piezoelectric and electrooptic ceramic devices. Also the specimens were prepared by the two stage sintering technique. The molecular formular was X($CaO{\cdot}1/4La_{2}O_{3}{\cdot}1/4Nb_{2}O_{5}){\cdot}(1-X)Pb(Zr_{Y}Ti_{1-Y})O_{3}$(x=100X, y=100Y), and the variation of x was $6{\sim}12$, y was 60${\sim}$49 and second stage sintering time was 20${\sim}$40 hours. The experimental results obtained from this study are as follows : 1. The density was decreased, the grain size was increased according to increase of Ca-La-Nb substitution. 2. The crystal structure was rhombohedral in composition 6/60/40, and the crystal structure was tetragonal and cubic according to increase of Ca-La-Nb substitution. 3. The Ca substitution of PZT system enhanced the sintering property. The Pb site vacancy resulting from the substitution of La-Nb increased the dielectrical constant, the piezoelectric charge constant, the dielectric loss and decreased the coercive field. 4. The resistivity of PZT system which has the P type conduction mechanism increased according to substitution of La-Nb because of the substituent acting as donor. 5. The PZT ceramics varied from ferroelectric substance according to increase of Ca-La-Nb substituent. The coercive field and saturation remanent polarization decreased, and at last straight line according to increase of La-Nb substitution. 6. The amount of Ca-La-Nb substitution to improve the light transmittance of speciment was 10 mol%, the Zr/Ti ratio was 49/51, and the second stage sintering time was 40 hours. 7. According to Ca-La-Nb substitution, the specimens was to be transparent. The 7.5/51/49 specimen was suitable for transparent sound vibrator because it had 58% light transmittance (thick 0.2[mm], wave length 700[mm]) and 48% electromechanical coupling factor.

(Fe, Co)-Al-B-Nb 초미세결정립합금의 조성 및 열처리온도에 대한 자기적 특성변화 (Magnetic Properties of (Fe, Co)-Al-B-Nb Nanocrystalline Alloys on Composition and Annealing Temperature)

  • 급속응고법중 단롤법을 이용하여 Fe-B계에 Co 및 Nb과 Al이 치환된 (Fe/sub 0.85/Co/sub 0.15/)/sub 75/ Al/sub 7/B/sub 18-x/Nb/sub x/(x = 2, 4, 6)와 (Fe/sub 0.85/Co/sub 0.15/)/sub 75/Al/sub y/B/sub 21-y/Nb/sub 4/ (y = 3, 5, 7, 9)합금을 급속응고장치로 단롤법을 이용하여 리본상으로 제작한후, 이들 합금의 초미세결정립 제조 가 능성과 자기적 특성의 조성 및 온도 의존성을 조사하였다. 초미세결정립합금은 y = 9를 제외한 전조성에서 제조가 가 능하였다. 포화자화 값은 열처리 후 증가하였고 Nb 함량이 증가하면 감소하였으며 상대적으로 Al과 B의 영향은 적었 다. 50 kHz에서 조사한 초투자율은 초미세결정립이 형성된 후가 열처리 전보다 2배이상 증가하였으며, 항자력과 교류 자기이력손실은 반대로 1/2이하로 감소하였다.

  • (Ba, Sr)TiO$_3$[BST] thin films were fabricated on Pt/SiO$_2$/Si substrate by RF sputtering technique. The structural, dielectric and electrical properties of BST thin films were investigated with Ar/O$_2$ ratio. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the BST thin film were about 1020 and 2.0[%], respectively. (at RF power 80W, post annealing temperature $650^{\circ}C$, deposition pressure of 5mTorr and Ar/O$_2$=80/20). For the BST(Ar/O$_2$=80/20) thin film with Polarization switching cycles of 10$^{10}$ , remanent polarization and coercive field were 0.084[$\mu$C/cm$^2$], 1.954[kV/cm], respectively.

Annealing Effect on Magnetic Properties and Electromagnetic Absorption Behaviors for Fe-Cr Alloy Powder-Polymer Composites

  • We investigated annealing effect of microforged powders on magnetic properties and electromagnetic absorption behaviors for ferromagnetic Fe-Cr metal alloy powder-polymer composites. The coercive properties greatly decreased with annealing temperature and the magnetic permeability had significantly increased after microforging and subsequent annealing treatment, due to a reduction in lattice strain of the microforged powders. The power loss in the far field regime also had greatly increased after microforging and subsequent annealing treatment in frequency range from 50 MHz to 6 GHz. As a result, the electromagnetic absorption of ferromagnetic Fe-Cr alloy metal powder-polymer composites was highly improved because of the relaxation of the internal strain during annealing process.

초고속 자기부상열차를 위한 하이브리드형 부상 추진 시스템의 설계 및 특성해석 (Design and Characteristic Analysis of Hybrid-Type Levitation and Propulsion Device for High-Speed Maglev Vehicle)

  • This paper deals with the design and characteristic analysis of electro-magnet/permanent-magnet (EM-PM) hybrid levitation and propulsion device for high-speed magnetically levitated (maglev) vehicle. The machine requires PMs with high coercive force in order to levitate the vehicle by only PMs, and propulsion force is supplied by long-stator linear synchronous motor (LSM). The advantages of this configuration are an increasing levitation airgap length and decreasing total weight of the vehicle, because of the zero-power levitation control. Several design considerations such as machine structure, manufacturing, and control strategy are described. Moreover, the levitation and propulsion device for high-speed maglev vehicle has been designed and analyzed usign the electromagnetic circuit and FE analysis. In order to verify the design scheme and feasibility of maglev application, 3-DOF static force test set is implemented and tested. The obtained experimental data using the static tester shows the validity of the design and analysis approaches.

유통경로상의 상쇄투자와 관계결속이 경로구성원의 성과에 미치는 영향 (An Empirical Study on the Performance of the Medium-Sized Distributor's Offsetting Investment and Relationship Commitment with Large-sized Manufacturing Firm in the Marketing Channel)

  • This study aims to provide distributors with several implications on the channel strategy by testing factors which influence on the offsetting investment. Medium-sized distributor facing a relatively inferior power can cause profit vulnerability from large manufacurer's opportunistic behaviors. At the same time, we tested the relationship commitment to the relation with manufacturer as another alternative strategy taken by medium-sized distributer. For this research, samples from dealers in oil-petroleum refinery industry were selected and the data was collected using mail survey. The data was analyzed utilizing validity test, reliability test, factor analysis, correlation analysis and LISREL. The major analyzed results are as follows: First, the offsetting investment of preventing loss from manufacturer's opportunism didn't affect medium-sized distributor's sales empirically. Second, the hypothesis that the more the medium-sized distributor's transaction specific assets which they invest in the transactional relationship with manufacturer, the more the safeguard against the expected opportunism of manufacturer was not supported by the results. Third, the more use of coercive power by the manufacturer, the more increase in the perception of expected opportunism of manufacturer by the medium-sized distributor, it make stimulates offsetting investment as safeguard by medium-sized distributor and it has negative effect on developing commitment. Finally, the large manufactures dealing with a medium-sized distributor firm which had a reputation of fairness didn't make offsetting investment as a response for distributor's opportunism.

압전 MEMS 진동에너지 수집소자를 위한 졸겔 공법기반의 Pb(ZrTi)O3 박막의 특성 분석 및 평가 (Characterization of Sol-gel Coated Pb(ZrTi)O3 Thin film for Piezoelectric Vibration MEMS Energy Harvester)

  • In this paper, sol-gel-spin coated $Pb(ZrTi)O_3$ thin film with $ZrO_2$ buffer-layer and $PbTiO_3$ seed-layer was investigated for vibration MEMS energy harvester to scavenge power from ambient vibration via d33 piezoelectric mode. Piezoelectric thin film deposition techniques on insulating layer is the important key for $d_{33}$ mode of piezoelectric vibration energy harvester. $ZrO_2$ buff-layer was utilized as an insulating layer. $PbTIO_3$ seed-layer was applied as an inter-layer between PZT and $ZrO_2$ layer to improve the crystalline of PZT thin film. The fabricated PZT thin film had a remanent polarization of 5.3uC/$cm^2$ and the coercive field of 60kV/cm. The fabricated energy harvester using PZT thin film with PTO seed-layer generated 1.1uW of electrical power to $2.2M{\Omega}$ of load with $4.4V_{pvp}$ from vibration of 0.39g at 528Hz.
