  • Recently, various industrial sectors have introduced cloud service actively in their business because cloud computing technology enables storage·management and analysis·utilization of data easily in anytime, anywhere. Especially in financial sector, the business provocatively adopted the service and creates various innovative cases; furthermore, already in abroad, the sector has been accelerating digitization of analysis in cases of credit risk, financial fraud data, stock trading etc. On the contrary, in the domestic financial industry, not only the cloud service introduction and innovation cases are underperformed, but most of them are focused on the back-office service. Most Korean financial corporations are burdened with the adoption of cloud service due to various conservative regulatory requirements, such as regulations on data storage and management, regulations on privacy, and other tasks such as developing decision models and establishing responsibility standard for security incidents and service failures. In this study, it would be aimed to contribute to promote the introduction of the cloud in the domestic financial sector by drawing up preemptive challenges and inspecting priorities.

  • This research highlights the process of adopting cloud computing technology from users' perspective. Concentrating on perceived mechanism from employees side that lead to job performance at work. Cloud computing, the new player in our modern business environment, authors employ diffusion of innovation theory to capture how this new technology affect employees in workplace in terms of job performance. Education for this new system and managerial support by firm were used as moderating variable to test dependent variable, job performance. Research was done through survey from total 284 people working in metropolitan area at South Korea. The result shows that cloud computing system affect positively on work efficiency, and the extent of diffusion factors that influence from the most to least are as follow: 1. Users' Skill, 2. System Quality, 3. Information Quality, 4. Group Awareness, 5. Attitude towards New System. To test diffusion factors of cloud computing and job performance, South Korean people actually felt that cloud computing help their job performance and the extent of diffusion factors that influence from the most to least are as follow: 1. Users' Skill, 2. System Quality, 3. Information Quality, 4. Attitude towards New System, 5. Group Awareness. As for diffusion factors of cloud computing and productivity, result proved that cloud computing really helps firms, and the extent of diffusion factors that influence from the most to least are as follow: 1. Information Quality, 2. Attitude towards New System, 3. Group Awareness, 4. System Quality, 5. Users' Skill. Two moderating variables, employee education and managerial support were tested to prove whether these two variables affect the job performance and the result displays positive affect for both two factors. To conclude, adopting cloud computing helps firms by increase employees' work efficiency and job performance. In order to accelerate the process employees education really matters because users' skill is the most crucial among diffusion factors.

  • With the adoption of cloud computing, the number of companies that take advantage of cloud computing has increased. Additionally, various of existing service providers have moved their service onto the cloud and provided user with various cloud-based service. The management of user authentication and authorization in cloud-based service technology has become an important issue. This paper introduce a new technique for providing authentication and authorization with other inter-cloud IAM (Identity and Access Management). It is an essential and easy method for data sharing and communication between other cloud users. The proposed system uses the credentials of a user that has already joined an organization who would like to use other cloud services. When users of a cloud provider try to obtain access to the data of another cloud provider, part of credentials from IAM server will be forwarded to the cloud provider. Before the transaction, Access Agreement must be set for granting access to the resource of other Organization. a user can access the resource of other organization based on the control access configuration of the system. Using the above method, we could provide an effective and secure authentication system on the cloud.

  • As the cloud computing market grows, a variety of cloud services are now reliably delivered. Administrative agencies and public institutions of South Korea are transferring all their information systems to cloud systems. It is essential to develop security solutions in advance in order to safely operate cloud services, as protecting cloud services from misuse and malicious access by insiders and outsiders over the Internet is challenging. In this paper, we propose a zero trust model for cloud storage services that store sensitive data. We then verify the effectiveness of the proposed model by operating a cloud storage service. Memory, web, and network forensics are also performed to track access and usage of cloud users depending on the adoption of the zero trust model. As a cloud storage service, we use Amazon S3(Simple Storage Service) and deploy zero trust techniques such as access control lists and key management systems. In order to consider the different types of access to S3, furthermore, we generate service requests inside and outside AWS(Amazon Web Services) and then analyze the results of the zero trust techniques depending on the location of the service request.

  • IT is the key enabler of digital economy. Appropriate usage of IT can provide a strategic competitive advantage to a firm in a dynamic competitive environment. However, there has been a continuing debate on whether IT can actually enhance the productivity of firms. This concept is called IT productivity paradox. In this study, we analyzed the causality among appropriate indicators to demonstrate the real impact of IT on productivity. The 12,100 sample data from 2011 were used for analysis. As expected, the results indicated that mobile device usage, website adoption, e-commerce, open source, cloud computing, and green computing positively influence IT productivity. This unprecedented large-scale analysis can provide clarification regarding the ambiguous causal mechanism between IT usage and productivity.

  • Cloud computing technology is expanding its services to individual consumers through storage and applications. This study aims to compare the predisposing factors that affect the perceived value and the intention to use between users who have used or experienced services and those who have never experienced services from the perspective of benefit and sacrifice based on the value-based acceptance model. The results showed that the sacrifice factor (perceived cost) had a significant effect on perceived value and perceived value had a significant effect on intention to use, but showed a difference in perceived benefit. Perceived usefulness, ubiquity, and network effects had significant impact for experienced users' perceived value, but for inexperienced users, ubiquity did not have significant impact. In addition, usefulness was the most significant factor for experienced users while network effect was the same for inexperienced users. The results of this study suggest that consumers' intention to use personal cloud service is evaluated as a benefit and sacrifice point and a new attempt to re-examine the role of previous experience.
