압전소자 구동장치를 이용한 로봇 손목기구의 개발 (Development of a robot wrist using a piezo actuator)

  • Having very small linear displacement, piezoelectric actuators have been restricted in robotic application as positioning devices. In this paper, a mechanical amplifier was developed to enhance the displacement of piezoelectric actuator and the corresponding driving circuit was designed. This equipment was integrated as a robotic wrist having 2 D.O.F micropositioning capability. Each joint was analysed in mechanical and dynamic view points. Experimental result showed that this device has Some hysteresis but could be used as vibratory robotic wrist with relatively high frequency. For more fine positioning control, a closed loop approach must be taken into account.

EDGE PROPERTIES OF THE 4-VALENT MULTI 3-GON GRAPHS

  • In a 4-valent multi 3-gon graph, every cut-through curve forms a simple closed circuit. Hence it is a weak arrangement of simple curves that is defined by Branko Grunbaum. In this paper, we study the edge properties of the 4-valent multi 3-gon graphs from the point of view of arrangement, and we show that they are 3 colorable.

CDI시스템의 출력발생향상을 위한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Research to Improve the Output Characteristic of CDI System)

  • This paper proposes a new circuit for the CDI system to have a constant ignition power at the engine speed range of 500 to 7500 rpm and the battery voltage range of 12 to 16 volts in the 4-cylinder automobile. The proposed CDI system has a closed-loop with a PWM DC-DC converter controlled by the error signal between capacitor voltage and reference voltage. In order to decrease the capacitor charging time, the primary winding of ignition coil is made to be shorted during capacitor charging. An experimental suystem is fabricated and the results obtained thereof are found to be satisfactory.

GaAs MMIC상에서 주기적 접지구조를 가지는 결합선로의 절연특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Coupled Line Employing Periodical Ground Structure on GaAs MMIC)

  • In this study, using a periodical ground structure(PGS) on GaAs monolithic microwave integrated circuit(MMIC), transmission line with a high isolation characteristic was developed for application to compact signal/bias lines of highly integrated MMIC. And the origin of the high isolation characteristic was theoretically investigated. The high isolation characteristic was originated from a resonance between adjacent microstrip lines employing PGS. With only a spacing of $20{\mu}m$, the coupled microstrip line employing PGS showed an isolation value of -47 dB at 60 GHz. The frequency range for high isolation was easily controlled by changing the PGS structure. Above results indicate that microstrip lines employing PGS are very useful for application to compact signal/bias lines of highly integrated MMIC requiring a high isolation characteristics between lines. In addition, equivalent circuit employing closed-form equation for the coupled line with PGS was also extracted.

전송 이론을 이용한 공진 MTM-TL 특성 분석 및 응용 (Analysis of Resonant MTM-TL Using Transmission Line Theory and Its Applications)

  • 본 논문에서는 공진 MTM-TL(Metamaterial Transmission Line) 등가 회로를 이용하여 방사 및 회로 파라미터의 추출 식을 제시하였다. 특히 개방 또는 단락 상태에서 방사 소자인 직렬 $R_0$와 병렬 $G_0$를 EM 시뮬레이션 또는 측정을 통해 얻은 S-parameterd(|$S_{11}$|)를 이용하여 추출한다, EM 시뮬레이션의 결과, 추출한 파라미터를 이용한 회로 시뮬레이션의 결과 그리고 측정 결과가 매우 일치함을 확인하였다.

  • Coercion transformer is commonly used in the electrical grid which in three phase of distribution system. The accident of the electrical grid is divided into a single, a double, a third line-to-ground faults and a double, a third line-to-line faults. A single line-to-ground fault accounts for nearly 75[%] among them. In this research, when a Superconducting Fault Current Limiters (SFCL) was applied to the three phase power system, operation in a single line-to-ground fault and limiting characteristics of fault current according to turns ratio of third winding were analyzed. When a single line-to-ground fault happened, secondary winding's circuit was open. Then third winding's circuit with a SFCL was closed. So fault current was limited by diverted circuit. At this time, we could find out that size of the limited fault current could be changed according to third winding rate. We confirmed that limiting operation of the fault current was carried out within one-period. These results will be utilized in adjusting the size of the SFCL.

  • This paper presents analytical and numerical simulation approaches on charging characteristics of no-insulation (NI) REBCO pancake coil by using the equivalent circuit model to estimate magnetic performance response in the coil. The analytical methods provide closed form or definite solution in the form of complete mathematical expressions but they are hard to solve the complex problems. Numerical methods have become popular with the development of the computing capabilities to solve the problems which are impossible or very hard to solve analytically. First of all, the equivalent circuit model are proposed to develop the simulation code for both analytical and numerical method. The charging test was performed under critical current to obtain magnetic field induced and terminal voltage through the radial as well as spiral current paths within the coil. To verify the validity of both proposed methods, the simulation results were compared and discussed with the experimental results.

전하 분리와 축적을 통한 물의 슬로싱 현상 기반 전기에너지 발생 장치 (Water-Sloshing-Based Electricity Generating Device via Charge Separation and Accumulation)

  • Liquid-based Triboelectric nanogenerator (L-TENG) is one of the alternatives to solid-based Triboelectric nanogenerator (S-TENG) because of the absence of surface damage which can decrease the durability of the generator. However, the L-TENG also has an obvious drawback of significantly lower output than that of S-TENG. This article produces water-sloshing-based electricity generating device (W-ED) with a new design of L-TENG that improves electrical output in portable form. The dual-electrode system, consisting of closed-loop circuit and inner electrode which enables water to contact directly in the bottle, can generate the open-circuit voltage and the short-circuit current of up to 348 V and 5.1 mA, respectively. By investigating the motion of water for each frequency, we propose that W-ED is suitable device for a variety of human motions. We expect that W-ED can be applied in small electrical devices or sensors in daily-use items.

안전한 농산물 관리를 위한 웹 카메라 기반의 실시간 모니터링 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Real time Monitoring System based on Web camera for safe agricultural product management)

  • 농산물에 대한 수입이 개방된 이후 대량의 값싼 외국 농산물들은 점점 국내 농산물 시장의 점유율을 높이고 있으며, 이러한 과정에서 수입 시 사용된 방부제와 기타 유해 물질들의 검출 문제도 발생하고 있다. 국내 농가들은 시장 경쟁력을 높이기 위하여 국가의 체계적인 지원과 이를 뒷받침하는 시스템 도입을 요구하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 소비자에게 실시간으로 농산물의 생산 및 관리 정보를 제공하기 위한 모니터링 시스템을 설계하였다. 실시간 모니터링을 위하여 기존의 CCTV(Closed-Circuit Television)와 같은 아날로그 카메라가 아니라, 장소에 구별 없이 네트워크가 가능한 곳에서 CCTV보다 좋은 화질의 영상을 제공하는 웹 카메라를 사용하여 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 실시간 모니터링 시스템의 특징은 여러 웹 카메라 영상을 다중 화면으로 구성한 멀티비전 인터페이스와 농산물을 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 영상 저장 기능 및 정해진 시간에 따라 영상 저장이 이루어지는 스케줄링 녹화가 가능하다.

디지털 변조를 적용하여 전송거리가 확장된 HD-CCTV 시스템 설계 (HD-CCTV System Design with Extended Transmission Distance using Digital Modulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 영상의 화질을 유지하면서 전송거리를 늘이기 위하여 디지털 변조를 적용한 CCTV 전송 시스템인 ER-SDI 시스템을 제안하였다. 기존 CCTV 표준인 HD-SDI 시스템은 최대 전송 거리가 약 200m 이다. 최근 최대 전송 거리를 확장하기 위하여 디지털 신호를 다시 아날로그로 변환하여 색신호를 변조하는 방법과 영상을 압축하여 IP 네트워크를 사용하는 방법이 제안되었다. 그러나 아날로그로 변환하는 방법은 화질의 열화가 발생하고 IP 네트워크를 사용하는 방법은 신호 지연이 발생한다는 단점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 디지털 변조를 HD-SDI 시스템에 적용하여 최대 전송 거리를 약 518m까지 늘릴 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다. 제안한 시스템의 최대 달성 거리는 기존의 HD-SDI 시스템의 제원을 사용하여 동축 케이블 환경에서의 실험을 통하여 계산되었다.
