Group method of data handling neural networks model (GMDH-NNM) is used to estimate daily reference evapotranspiration (ETo) using limited climatic variables such as max temperature ($T_{max}$), min temperature ($T_{min}$), mean wind speed ($W_{mean}$), mean relative humidity ($RH_{mean}$) and sunshine duration (SD). And, for the performances of GMDH-NNM, it consists of training and test performances, respectively. The training and test performances are carried out using daily time series data, respectively. From this research, we evaluate the impact of GMDH-NNM for the modeling of the nonlinear time series data. We should, thus, construct the credible data of the daily ETo data using GMDH-NNM, and can suggest the methodology for the irrigation and drainage networks system. Furthermore, this research represents that the strong nonlinear relationship such as ETo modeling can be generalized using GMDH-NNM.
The colonization pattern and extent of decay produced in paddy stubble by soil inhabiting mycoflora were done by using nylon net bag technique. Among the three methods used for isolation of fungi, dilution plate technique recorded the highest number of fungi followed by damp chamber and direct observation method. Nutrient availability and climatic conditions (temperature, humidity and rainfall) influenced the occurrence and colonization pattern of fungi. Maximum fungal population was recorded in October ($48.99{\times}10^4/g$ dry litter) and minimum in May ($11.41{\times}10^4/g$ dry litter). Distribution of Deuteromycetous fungi was more in comparison to Zygomycetes, oomycetes and ascomycetes. In the early stage of decomposition Mucor racemosus, Rhizopus nigricans, Chaetomium globosum and Gliocladium species were found primarly whereas at later stages of decomposition preponderance of Aspergillus candidus, Torula graminis, Cladosporiun cladosporioides and Aspergillus luchuensis was recorded.

To examine the effects of clothes upon human's physiological adaptation to the changes of climatic conditions, clothing weight was examined. The results are as follows; 1. According to the change in temperature, the total, upper and outer clothing weight showed remarked change. Clothing weight change was greatest between the July and October, the change was greater in the coast land and the girl students. 2. The clothing weight tends to be light under outdoor in both regions in all seasons except in July, it is remarked in inland and December. 3. The correlation between $R\"{o}hrer$ Index, Body Fat and clothing weight was recognised to be significantly reversed. 4. Positive correlation between health conditions and clothing weight was recognized in December 5. The correlation between exercise hours and clothing weight was negatively significant in December.

In order to provide basic information for the estimation of reference crop evapotranspiration in the greenhouse on experiment was performed. Daily evapotranspiration of the reference crop wear measured using lysimeters. kentucky Blue Grass was used as a reference crop. Climatic elements I the greenhouse such as air temperature relative humidity and radiation were measured. The influence of each climatic element on the evapotranspiration were analyzed. A multi-regression model for the estimation of reference crop evapotranspiration in the greenhouse was developed and tested simulated evapotranspiration by the model were in good agreement with measured evapotransiration.
This study aims to find out sector effects with the appraisal of building energy systems of urban ecosystem considering cost effects and environmental constraints condition such as climatic change factors including $CO_2$ gas which are not dealt in the institutional boundary as components standards and performance standards on energy performance of each part of a building applied on heavy energy spending buildings at present. The results of the appraisal of building energy systems shows that the existing building energy systems are not enough to fulfil the environmental condition under the environmental constraints supposing QELROs(Quantified Emission Limitation and Reduction Objectives) of carbon-dioxide exhaust. Henceforth, it is needed to fulfill the environmental criteria required by the Climatic Change Agreement for improving the adiabatic performance of each part of a building and active using of the solar energy.
Typical meteorological data is fundamental to computer simulation introduced for environment-friendly architecture designs. Therefore, in order to improve accuracy of computer simulation, typical meteorological data should be established. By examining how to choose typical meteorological data, this study selected the optimized weight factor for TRY where weighting factor was not clearly set. As a result, the same weighting factor was applied to each climatic element and TRY data where the weight factor was applied could have the distribution very similar to measurement data. The weighting factor is considered to reflect geographical characteristics of Seoul and applied climatic elements.
In the framework of an International cooperation program in Australia-Asia, the atmospheric corrosion of metals in five nations located in this tropical zone: Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia was investigated. In this program, mild steel, zinc and copper were tested on a set of sites, representative for different climatic conditions: severe marine, marine, industrial, urban and rural, simultaneously with the collection of climatic parameters and pollutants. Based on the data obtained in the Program and referring to the bank of data collected in the Vietnam National Projects, modeling was used to construct a corrosion map of steel for Vietnam. The correlation of the data derived from the map compared with those from National Projects is very high, in most cases, differing by less than 2-3%.
There are two parts(middle and southern) according to dividing line of district in Korea. Middle part contains Kang Won, Chung Chung, Gyeong Gi, Seoul, In Cheon and Dae Jeon. Southern part contains Gyeong Sang, Jeol La, Je Ju, Bu San, Dae Gu, Ul San, and Gwang Ju. It is known that there are some differences between middle and southern part on weather. The climatic differences might affect human body. Thus, the mall objective of this study is to analyze effects of climatic differences which influence somatotype characteristics on residents in two regions. In order to compare and analyze data, $R\ddot{o}hrer$ index and drop-value were used. Also, this paper provides typical ratios according to dividing line of district.

Observations of extreme wind speeds in the United Kingdom from 1970 to 1980, corrected for the influence of upwind ground roughness and topography, have been analysed using the recently-developed "Improved Method of Independent Storms" (IMIS). The results have been used to compile two new maps of base wind speed and to confirm the climatic factors in current use. One map is 'irrespective' of wind direction and the other is 'equally weighted' by direction. The 'equally weighted' map is expected to be more consistently reliable and appropriate for use with the climatic factors for the design of buildings and structures.
Ring width chronologies of blue pine (pinus wallichiana) from two mesic sites, Kanasar(2, 400 m) and Gangotri(3, 000 m), in the western Himalayan region. India were developed to understand tree growth-climate relationship and its applicability in proxy climate studies. The resoponse function analyses of the two chronologies show that the site conditions play an important role in modulating the effect of climatic variables on tree growth. Winter temperature, prior to the growth year, has been found to play positive influence on blue pine growth at both sites. Summer temperature also has very similar response except for June and August. June temperature has negative influence at the lower in contrary to at the higher site. Low August temperature favors tree growth to precipitation has been found to vary which could be due to different precipitation regime at the two sites. Winter precipitation is important for tree growth at the higher, whereas summer at the lower sits. The present study suggests that the tree ring materials of blue pine from the temperate Himalayan regions could be used to develop chronologies for the reconstruction of seasonal climatic variables.
