항공기 Wing Rock 운동에 대한 적응제어시스템 설계 (Adaptive Control System Designs for Aircraft Wing Rock)

  • 높은 받음각에서 항공기는 Wing Rock 이라고 알려진 Limit cycle 형태의 횡방향 진동 운동을 보일 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 불안정 진동운동과 관련한 불확실성에 적응하여 안정화시키는 고전 및 신경회로망기반 적응제어기법들의 상세 설계내용을 제시하였다. 모든 기법들은 80도 후퇴각을 가진 삼각날개를 갖는 모델에 적용하여 시뮬레이션하였고 그 결과를 비교분석하였다.

  • It is hard to centrol the wheeled mobile robot because of uncertainty of modeling, non-holonomic constraint and so on. To solve the problems, we design the controller of wheeled mobile robot based on fuzzy-neural network algorithm. In this paper, we should research the problem of classical controller for path-tracking algorithm and design of Fuzzy-Neural Network algorithm controller. Classical controller acquired different control value according to change of initial position and direction. In this control value having very difficult and having acquired a lot of trial and error Fuzzy is implemented to adaptive adjust control value by error and change of error and neural network is implemented to adaptive adjust the control gain during the optimization. The computer simulation shows that the proposed fuzzy-neural network controller is effective.

  • A study on the improvement of tracking performance of a 3 DOF planar parallel manipulator is performed. A class of adaptive tracking control sheme is designed using self tuning adaptive fuzzy logic control theory. This control sheme is composed of three classical PD controller and a multi learning type self tuning adaptive fuzzy logic controller set. PD controller is tuned roughly by manual setting a priori and fuzzy logic controller is tuned precisely by the gradient descent method for a global solution during run-time, so the proposed control scheme is tuned more rapidly and precisely than the single learning type self tuning adaptive fuzzy logic control sheme for a local solution. The control performance of the proposed algorithm is verified through experiments.

  • The main drawback of “classical”fuzzy systems is the inability to design and maintain their database. To overcome this disadvantage many types of extensions adding the adaptivity property to those systems were designed. This paper deals with one of them a new hybrid adaptation structure, called gradient-incremental adaptive fuzzy controller connecting gradient-descent methods with the so-called self-organizing fuzzy logic controller designed by Procyk and Mamdani. The aim is to incorporate the advantages of both Principles. This controller was implemented and tested on the system of LEGO robots. The results and comparison to a ‘classical’(non-adaptive) fuzzy controller designed by a human operator are also shown here.

  • Active aeroelastic control is an emerging technology aimed at providing solutions to structural systems that under the action of aerodynamic loads are prone to instability and catastrophic failures, and to oscillations that can yield structural failure by fatigue. The purpose of the aeroelastic control among others is to alleviate and even suppress the vibrations appearing in the flight vehicle subcritical flight regimes, to expand its flight envelope by increasing the flutter speed, and to enhance the post-flutter behavior usually characterized by the presence of limit cycle oscillations. Recently adaptive and robust control strategies have demonstrated their superiority to classical feedback strategies. This review paper discusses the latest development on the topic by the authors. First, the available control techniques with focus on adaptive control schemes are reviewed, then the attention is focused on the advanced single-input and multi-input multi-output adaptive feedback control strategies developed for lifting surfaces operating at subsonic and supersonic flight speeds. A number of concepts involving various adaptive control methodologies, as well as results obtained with such controls are presented. Emphasis is placed on theoretical and numerical results obtained with the various control strategies.

Model Reference Adaptive Control Using Non-Euclidean Gradient Descent

  • In this Paper. a non-linear approach to a design of model reference adaptive control is presented. The approach is demonstrated by a case study of a simple single-pole and no zero, linear, discrete-time plant. The essence of the idea is to generate a full non-linear model of the plant dynamics and the parameter adaptation dynamics as a gradient descent algorithm with respect to a Riemannian metric. It is shown how a Riemannian metric can be chosen so that the modelled plant dynamics do in fact match the true plant dynamics. The performance of the proposed scheme is compared to a traditional model reference adaptive control scheme using the classical sensitivity derivatives (Euclidean gradients) for the descent algorithm.

  • A New fuzzy adaptive controller which is able to solve the problems of classical adaptive controllers and conventional fuzzy adaptive controllers is suggested in this paper. The architecture of a fuzzy adaptive controller using the robust property of a fuzzy controller is explained. A design procedure which can be carried out mathematically and systematically from the model of an objective system is suggested, and related mathematical theorems and their proofs are also given. The performance of the proposed adaptive control algorithm is analyzed through a design example and a DC motor control simulation.

효모 배양을 위한 발효공정의 최적화 및 적응제어 (Optimization and Adaptive Control for Fed-Batch Culture of Yeast)

  • The optimal glucose concentration for the high-density culture of recombinant yeasts was obtained using dynamic simulation. An adaptive and predictive algoritilm complimented by the rule base was proposed for the control of the fed-batch fermentation process. The measurement of process variables has relatively long sampling period and relatively long time delay characteristics. As one of the solution on these problems, prediction techniques and rule bases were added to a classical recursive identification and control algorithm. Rule bases were used in the determination of control input considering the difference between the predicted value and the measured value. A mathelnatical model was used in the estimation and interpretation of the changes of state variables and parameters. Better performances were obtained by employing the control algorithm proposed in the present study compared to the conventional adaptive control method.

  • 고전적인 선형 제어와 가변 구조 제어를 융합한 방식에서 가상 공정(nominal plant)을 적응 관측기로 대체하여 실제 공정의 출력과 가상 공정의 출력 간의 오차가 계속 잔존하게 되는 문제를 해결하였다. 적응 관측기로서는 지수 함수적으로 수렴하는 적응 관측기를 사용하였으므로, 실제 공정의 출력에 적응 관측기의 출력이 빠르게 수렴하여 오차가 잔존하지 않게 되어 제어 시스템의 성능이 저하되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.

  • This paper presents adaptive fuzzy control based on observer for nonlinear HVAC system whose states are not available. Fuzzy systems are employed to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions of the HVAC system and the state observer is designed for estimating the states of the HVAC system. An adaptive fuzzy controller is firstly constructed without the controller singularity problem. The obtained control system shows robustness and effectiveness compared with classical feedback controller. Simulation results are provided to illustrate the control performance.
