The purpose of this study is to identify factors affecting flow state of the cooperative learning on nursing students live in convergence era. Data was collected a total of six weeks to two nursing freshman class 93 people from April to June 2015. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, pearson's correlation coefficients and factors affecting the flow state was used for the multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Flow state of the cooperative learning was correlated with major satisfaction and learning satisfaction. The results of major satisfaction and learning satisfaction were significant predictors with 65.4% of the variance in flow state of the cooperative learning, learning satisfaction was confirmed by the affecting factor the flow state. This presents a basis for teaching method applied to maximize the flow state.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between self-regulated learning, NLR(non-learning-related) behavior, interaction and flow on satisfaction in database classes. To achieve this purpose, this study proposed a research model consisting of self-regulated learning, NLR behavior, interaction, flow and satisfaction. A survey was conducted to test the research hypotheses, and a total of 122 online questionnaires were obtained and used for the final statistical analysis. The main findings of the analysis are as follows: First, flow was consistently identified as a key determinant of satisfaction. Second, self-regulated learning was found to have a significant effect on flow. Third, NLR behavior and interaction were found to mediate the relationship between self-regulated learning and flow. This study provides insights into the role of NLR behavior and interaction in promoting flow and offers implications for understanding how to promote flow.
Six shear coaxial injectors for a 3 tonf-class liquid rocket engine using oxygen and methane as propellants were designed and manufactured by considering geometric design parameters such as a recess length and a taper angle. Cold-flow tests on the injectors were performed using water and air as simulants. By changing the water mass flow rate and air mass flow rate, the injection pressure drop under single-injection and bi-injection was measured. The discharge coefficients through the injector oxidizer-side and fuel-side were calculated and the discharge coefficient ratio between bi-injection and single-injection was obtained. Under single-injection, the recess served to reduce the injection pressure drop on the injector fuel-side. For the injectors without recess, the discharge coefficients under bi-injection were almost the same as those under single-injection. However, for the injectors with recess, the taper angle and bi-injection had a significant effect on the discharge coefficient.
An Altitude Engine Test Facility(AETF) was built at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute in October 1999 and has been being operated for altitude testing of the gas turbine engines of 3,000 Ibf class or less. The AETF has been calibrated using several engines such as J69 engine of Teledyne Co. as a facility checkout engine. Based on the test results, uncertainty analyses on the air flow rate and thrust were performed according to ASME PTC 19.1-1998. As the analyses showed that the level of uncertainty was not satisfactory over the whole operating envelop, several modifications of the facility and testing method were made in order to improve the measurement uncertainty. As a result, the uncertainty of the air flow measurement was improved by 0.1 % over all the test conditions, and the net thrust measurement by upto 3%. The improved measurement uncertainties of air flow and thrust are 0.68-0.73% and 0.4-1.3%, respectively.

This paper presents a method of cold gas flow-field analysis within puffer type GCB(Gas Circuit Breaker). Using this method, the entire interruption process including opening operation of GCB can be simulated successfully. In particular, the distortion problem of the grid due to the movement of moving parts can be dealt with by the fixed grid technique. The gas parameters such as temperature, pressure, density, velocity through the entire interruption process can be calculated and visualized. It was confirmed that the time variation of pressure which was calculated from the application of the method to a model GCB agreed with the experimental one. Therefore it is possible to evaluate the small current interruption capability analytically and to design the interrupter which has excellent interruption capability using the proposed method. It is expected that the proposed method can reduce the time and cost for development of GCB very much. It also will be possible to develop the hot-gas flow-field analysis program by combining the cold-gas flow field program with the arc model and to evaluate the large current interruption capability.
An useful protocol coiled load duration curve methodology to estimate contaminant loading to a river on an exceedance probability scale was developed in this research. The technique was further applied to estimate total coliform loading to the Geum River, using the daily mean flow rate and total coliform concentration data during January, 1996 and July, 2004 for the Gongju where an automated monitoring station is located. Drought flow of the Gongju (=50.3 cms) was equivalent to 40% on an exceedance probability scale. Load duration curve for total coliform loading at the Gongju was constructed. Standard duration curve was constructed with the water quality criteria for the class 2 (total coliform concentration = 1000 MPN/100 mL). By plotting load duration curve with standard duration curve, it could be revealed that water quality do not meet the desired water quality for 47% on an exceedance probability scale. If linearity between flow rate and coliform concentration is assumed, it can be interpretated that water quality exceeds desired criteria when average mean flow rate is over 51 cms.

The major objective of this paper is to clarify the effect of constitutive laws on bulk forming design based on the ideal flow theory. The latter theory is in general applicable for perfectly/plastic materials. However, its kinematics equations constitute a closed-form system, which are valid for any incompressible materials, therefore enabling us to extend design solutions based on the perfectly/plastic constitutive law to more realistic laws with rate sensitive hardening behavior. In the present paper, several constitutive laws commonly accepted for the modeling of cold and hot metal forming processes are considered and the effect of these laws on one particular plane-strain design is demonstrated. The closed form solution obtained describes a non-trivial nonsteady ideal process. The design solutions based on the ideal flow theory are not unique. To achieve the uniqueness, the criterion that the plastic work required to deform the initial shape of a given class of shapes into a prescribed final shape attains its minimum is adopted. Comparison with a non-ideal process is also made.
Anodic overpotential has been investigated with gas composition changes in a $100cm^2$ class molten carbonate fuel cell. The overpotential was measured with steady state polarization, reactant gas addition (RA), inert gas step addition (ISA), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) methods at different anodic inlet gas compositions, i.e., $H_2:CO_2:H_2O=0.69:0.17:0.14\;atm\;and\;H_2:CO_2:H_2O=0.33:0.33:0.33\;atm$, at a fixed $H_2$ flow rate. The results demonstrate that the anodic overpotential decreases with increasing $CO_2\;and\;H_2O$ flow rates, indicating the anode reaction is a gas-phase mass-transfer control process of the reactant species, $H_2,\;CO_2,\;and\;H_2O$. It was also found that the mass-transfer resistance due to the $H_2$ species slightly increases at higher $CO_2\;and\;H_2O$ flow rates. EIS showed reduction of the lower frequency semi-circle with increasing $H_2O\;and\;CO_2$ flow rate without affecting the high frequency semi-circle.
If the present universe is slightly open then pre-inflation curvature would appear as a cosmic dark-flow component of the CMB dipole moment. We summarize current cosmological constraints on this cosmic dark flow and analyze the possible constraints on parameters characterizing the pre-inflating universe in an inflation model with a present-day very slightly open ${\Lambda}CDM$ cosmology. We employ an analytic model to show that for a broad class of inflation-generating effective potentials, the simple requirement that the observed dipole moment represents the pre-inflation curvature as it enters the horizon allows one to set upper and lower limits on the magnitude and wavelength scale of pre-inflation fluctuations in the inflaton field and the curvature parameter of the pre-inflation universe, as a function of the fraction of the total initial energy density in the inflaton field. We estimate that if the current CMB dipole is a universal dark flow (or if it is near the upper limit set by the Planck Collaboration) then the present constraints on ${\Lambda}CDM$ cosmological parameters imply rather small curvature ${\Omega}_k{\sim}0.1$ for the pre-inflating universe for a broad range of the fraction of the total energy in the inflaton field at the onset of inflation. Such small pre-inflation curvature might be indicative of open-inflation models in which there are two epochs of inflation.
Optimal flow-field design of bipolar-plates for a commercial class PEM(polymer electrolyte membrane) fuel cell stack was carried out on the basis of three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics(CFD) simulation. A three-dimensional CFD model originally developed by Shimpalee et al., has been utilized for performing large-scale simulation of a single fuel cell consisting of bipolar-plates gas diffusion layers, and a membrane-electrode-assembly(MEA). The CFD model is able to predict the current density, pressure drops, gas velocities, vapor and liquid water contents, temperature distributions, etc. inside a single fuel cell. Depending on simulation results from the CFD modeling of a PEM fuel cell, several flow-fields of bipolar-plates were designed and verified. The final design of the bipolar-plate has been chosen from the simulations and experimental tests and showed the best performance as expected from the simulation results under a normal operating condition. Thus, the CFD simulation approach to design the optimal flow-field of the bipolar-plates was successful. The final design was adopted as the best flow-field to build a commercial scale PEM fuel cell stack, the performance of which shows about 42% higher than that of the older bipolar-plate design.
