  • 본 연구는 교통기본법(안)에 명시된 대중교통 사각지대 설정과 평가를 위한 3가지 평가척도를 제시하였다. 평가척도는 행정동 단위의 대중교통 노선 및 운행실태에 대한 기초 DB를 적용하여 대중교통 서비스권역, 대중교통 배차간격, 1일 총 운행시간을 각각 A-F(6등급)으로 구분하였다. 대중교통 사각지대 평가척도는 정부 및 지자체에서 대중교통 서비스 낙후지역의 최저 대중교통 공급 및 연계노선 계획, 최저배차계획, 1일 대중교통 총 운행시간 계획에 기준으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Progressing of Web2.0 and social digitalization are lead to changing citizens participation and citizen centric service of civic service. To meet this trends that is online collaboration and sharing, citizen's service that provides our government, also need to changing web2.0 style. This paper argues that government could now grasp the opportunities that are emerging in terms of web2.0 Current policy and action is not yet adequate to grasp these opportunities. So this study focused on strategies of civil services based on web2.0 using NCIA(National Computerization Integrated Agency) cases. For the purpose, we analyze former researches related with civil service. And then, we propose web2.0 adaptation strategies for NCIA.

Concrete mix design for service life of RC structures exposed to chloride attack

  • The purpose of this research is to propose a design technique of concrete mix proportions satisfying service life through genetic algorithm (GA) and neural network (NN). For this, thirty mix proportions and the related diffusion coefficients in high performance concrete are analyzed and fitness function for diffusion coefficient is obtained considering mix components like w/b (water to binder ratio), cement content, mineral admixture (slag, flay ash and silica fume) content, sand and coarse aggregate content. Through averaging the results of 10 times GA simulations, relative errors to the previous data decrease lower than 5.0% and the simulated mix proportions are verified with the experimental results. Assuming the durability design parameters, intended diffusion coefficient for intended service life is derived and mix proportions satisfying the service life are obtained. Among the mix proportions, the most optimized case which satisfies required concrete strength and the lowest cost is selected through GA algorithm. The proposed technique would be improved with the enhancement of comprehensive data set including wider the range of diffusion coefficients.

생애주기비용을 고려한 PSC-I형 교량의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of PSC-I Girder Bridge Considering Life Cycle Cost)

  • This paper presents the procedure for the optimal design of a PSC-I girder bridge considering life cycle cost (LCC). The load carrying capacity curves for the concrete deck, PSC-I girder and $\pi$-type pier were derived and used for the estimate of service lives. Total life cycle cost for the service life was calculated as sum of initial cost, damage cost, maintenance cost, repair and rehabilitation cost, user cost, and disposal cost. The advanced First Order Second Moment method was used to estimate the damage cost. The optimization method was applied to the design of PSC-I girder bridge. The objective function was set to the annual cost, which is defined by dividing the total life cycle cost by the service life, and constraints were formulated on the basis of Korean Standards. The optimal design was performed for various service lives and the effects of design factors were investigated.

  • 본 연구는 소방방재 행정서비스의 예방업무를 민간마인드와 대비, 심도있는 분석을 통하여 현재 안전점검기관의 분산 중복관리, 수수료징수의 부적성, 관계인의 도덕적 해이 만연, 부조리요인 잠재, 전문성확보 미흡 등의 문제점을 단계적 통합안전점검 시스템 구축, 소방검사의 일원화, 예방업무의 기업성 확보, 안전분야 자격증취득강화, 민관파트너십 활성화 등의 소방방재서비스 개선방안을 제시하였다.

Prediction model of service life for tunnel structures in carbonation environments by genetic programming

  • It is important to study the problem of durability for tunnel structures. As a main influence on the durability of tunnel structures, carbonation-induced corrosion is studied. For the complicated environment of tunnel structures, based on the data samples from real engineering examples, the intelligent method (genetic programming) is used to construct the service life prediction model of tunnel structures. Based on the model, the prediction of service life for tunnel structures in carbonation environments is studied. Using the data samples from some tunnel engineering examples in China under carbonation environment, the proposed method is verified. In addition, the performance of the proposed prediction model is compared with that of the artificial neural network method. Finally, the effect of two main controlling parameters, the population size and sample size, on the performance of the prediction model by genetic programming is analyzed in detail.

Flexible smart sensor framework for autonomous structural health monitoring

  • Wireless smart sensors enable new approaches to improve structural health monitoring (SHM) practices through the use of distributed data processing. Such an approach is scalable to the large number of sensor nodes required for high-fidelity modal analysis and damage detection. While much of the technology associated with smart sensors has been available for nearly a decade, there have been limited numbers of fulls-cale implementations due to the lack of critical hardware and software elements. This research develops a flexible wireless smart sensor framework for full-scale, autonomous SHM that integrates the necessary software and hardware while addressing key implementation requirements. The Imote2 smart sensor platform is employed, providing the computation and communication resources that support demanding sensor network applications such as SHM of civil infrastructure. A multi-metric Imote2 sensor board with onboard signal processing specifically designed for SHM applications has been designed and validated. The framework software is based on a service-oriented architecture that is modular, reusable and extensible, thus allowing engineers to more readily realize the potential of smart sensor technology. Flexible network management software combines a sleep/wake cycle for enhanced power efficiency with threshold detection for triggering network wide operations such as synchronized sensing or decentralized modal analysis. The framework developed in this research has been validated on a full-scale a cable-stayed bridge in South Korea.

GPS 상대측위 자료처리를 위한 전문가 서비스 구축 (Construction of Expert Service for GPS Relative Positioning Data Processing)

  • GPS에 대한 이해가 부족한 일반사용자가 정상적으로 GPS 자료를 처리하기 위해서는 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하다. 하지만 GPS 자료처리 분야는 외산 소프트웨어에 크게 의존하고 있으며, 사용자 위주의 기술 개발은 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 비전문가도 상대측위 방법으로 고정밀 GPS 자료처리가 가능한 전문가 서비스를 구축하고자 하였다. 연구결과, GPS 자료처리에 필요한 최소 정보만을 입력함으로써 사용자의 편의성을 극대화시킬 수 있는 전문가 서비스를 개발하였으며, 국토지리정보원에서 제공하는 위성기준점의 관측자료와 실제 GPS측량으로 취득한 관측자료의 처리를 통해 전문가 서비스를 검증하였다. 전문가 서비스는 GPS 자료처리에 소요되는 노력과 시간을 크게 단축시킴으로써 정밀위치결정은 물론 다양한 학술연구에 기여할 것이다.

  • Recently advanced composite materials have been successfully used in the civil infrastructure application due to its many advantages such as light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance. Demand for longer service life, increased durability and reduced maintenance have prompted such developments. In this article, characteristics of composite materials, fabrication process, case studies for various field and future of advanced composite materials for civil infrastructures is presented.
