  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the impacts of gen-Z's perception of consumer-generated content on social media on their travel intention with the mediating role of travel motivation push and pull. An online questionnaire survey of a total of 369 samples was conducted with the participation of gen Z in the most important cities across Vietnam. The model was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS program 22 to investigate model relationships and all hypotheses are significant. The findings indicated that gen Z values the usefulness of social media and they use social media for knowledge-seeking (push factor), and this leads to their intention to visit a destination. SEM analysis also reveals that gen Z tends to use social media to find accessibility to any destinations and they are motivated highly with destinations that have clear and easy access, for example, no visa requirement or neighboring destinations. As the result, they have better intentions to visit these destinations. This research will help marketers, especially marketing specialists to gain a better understanding of gen Z, thus implement better marketing techniques to target gen Z.

The goal is to provide a holistic picture of the place of big data in the tourism industry. The reviewed articles have been selected for the period 2013-2020 and have been classified into 8 broad categories namely business strategy and firm performance; banking and finance; healthcare; hospitality; networks and telecommunications; urbanism and infrastructures; law and legal regulations; and government. While the categories are reflective of components of tourism industries and infrastructures, the meta-analysis is organized around 3 broad themes: preferred research contexts, conceptual developments, and methods used to research big data business applications. Main findings revealed that firm performance and healthcare remain popular contexts of research in the big data realm, but also demonstrated a prominence of qualitative methods over mixed and quantitative methods for the period 2013-2020. Scholars have also investigated topics involving the notions of competitive advantage, supply chain management, smart cities, but also ethics and privacy issues as related to the use of big data.

As a number of Chinese tourists increase, Chinese tourists' evaluations of sightseeing resources in Busan appear extremely important. However, there are few researches on Chinese tourists' evaluations of sightseeing in Busan. The purpose of this paper is to analyze Chinese tourists' evaluations of Busan tourism. Chinese tourists who travel to Busan are chosen as research objects and several aspects including marine, fisheries and general tourism are investigated to evaluate the tourists' overall satisfaction of the tourism in Busan. IPA analysis, factor analysis multiple regression analysis are used for the research. The results are as follows. Chinese tourists' evaluations of the importance and performance level of variables on Busan tourism were significantly different (total 19 of 25 variables) and the performance was lower than importance. This means the outputs of the various Busan tourism elements do not live up to their expectations. The findings show that Chinese visitors have high satisfaction on infrastructures of fisheries tourism (e.g. cleanness of aquatic product tourism facilities and sanitary state on fishery products), but low satisfaction in terms of the contents (e.g. unique cooking method experience of seafood and traditional seafood cooking consumption). The factors of fisheries tourism (e.g. product services of fisheries tourism and the attractiveness of seafood in Busan) never affect their satisfaction and intention to revisit and recommend the city.
