  • Capstone design, is a heartfelt cooperation curriculum because the ultimate goal is to train people who already have the ability to complete the tasks of the job without retraining them in the field immediately after being hired. However, there is a need for the design study in the fashion industry where a variety of operating models could be tried; more specifically case studies than engineering. This study was designed to apply to the types of voluntary projects and industrial challenges linked to the different types of virtuous circle window systems over twice in two years. Result capitalization applied to different types of derived forms associated with start-up technology transfer form. In addition, start-up will be done in conjunction with student-centered forms of the participation of Cooperation Coordinator. This was weak in the form of technology transfer interventions which were made as a result of the overall involvement of the industry. In order to elicit the active participation of the industry it is expected that this system will have an ideal company to reflux. Therefore, reflux that created assets to the students, and the reflux of product design created by students in companies professor final a virtuous cycle system operating models that can derive enhancements accept feedback to both students and companies redefining the performing models It presented. This operating model is considered to be able to provide you with a sense of accomplishment and high experiential value to both students and professors, and the industry. • Although many studies have been conducted to extract buildings from airborne lidar data, most of them assume that all the boundaries of a building are straight line segments. This makes it difficult to model building boundaries containing curved segments correctly. This paper aims to model buildings containing curved segments as combination of straight lines and arcs. First, two sets of boundary points are extracted by adaptive convex hull algorithm and local convex hull algorithm with a larger radius. Then, arc segments are determined by average spacing of boundary points and intersection ratio of perpendicular lines. Finally, building boundary is modeled through regularization of least squares line or circle fitting. The experimental results showed that the proposed method can model the curved building boundaries as arc segments correctly by completeness of 69% and correctness of 100%. The approach will be utilized effectively to create automatically digital map that meets the conditions of the Korean digital mapping.

  • The emergence of new concept ships, such as autonomous ships, has drawn much attention on the manoeuvrability of ships because of the safe navigation and operation of ships. Although the manoeuvrability of KRISO Container Ship(KCS) has been frequently reported, there have been few documents of representative manoeuvre cases conducted in various methods by one institute. This paper presents the manoeuvrability of the ship in 1/42.0 model scale by 3 methods: free running model tests, horizontal planar motion mechanism tests, and computational fluid dynamics analysis. KRISO reports KCS manoeuvre data: 35° turning circle tests and 20/20(10/10) zigzag manoeuvring tests. In addition, a simple formula for integrating and comparing manoeuvre indices, Manoeuvrability Comparing Simple Index(MCSI), is proposed.

  • This study aims to improve the heat performance of motor cycle disk due to the number of holes by analyzing 6 kinds of disk models. This disk performance depends on the efficiency at emitting the heat. To raise the efficiency of heat emission, holes with circle or another configuration are made on disks to emit heat fast. The distribution of temperature, heat flux, deformation and stress are analyzed. As the number of holes on disk increases, the performance of heat emission is improved. Equivalent stress is decreased and durability is improved as the number of holes on disk increases. Though the number of holes on disk is increased, the performances of heat emission and durability do not become better. The optimal model can be found by comparing models each other through this analysis result. Through this study result, the configuration of motor cycle disk is designed with optimal heat emission and durability by comparing models.

  • Presently, the exploration of an unknown environment is an important task for thee new generation of mobile service robots and mobile robots are navigated by means of a number of methods, using navigating systems such as the sonar-sensing system or the visual-sensing system. To fully utilize the strengths of both the sonar and visual sensing systems. This paper presents a technique for localization of a mobile robot using fusion data of multi-ultrasonic sensors and vision system. The mobile robot is designed for operating in a well-structured environment that can be represented by planes, edges, comers and cylinders in the view of structural features. In the case of ultrasonic sensors, these features have the range information in the form of the arc of a circle that is generally named as RCD(Region of Constant Depth). Localization is the continual provision of a knowledge of position which is deduced from it's a priori position estimation. The environment of a robot is modeled into a two dimensional grid map. we defines a vision-based environment recognition, phisically-based sonar sensor model and employs an extended Kalman filter to estimate position of the robot. The performance and simplicity of the approach is demonstrated with the results produced by sets of experiments using a mobile robot.

  • A geometrical description method is proposed to represent the process of the forward selection and backward elimination methods among many variable selection methods for multiple regression models. This graphical method shows the process of the forward selection and backward elimination on the first and second quadrants, respectively, of half circle with a unit radius. At each step, the SSR is represented by the norm of vector and the extra SSR or partial determinant coefficient is represented by the angle between two vectors. Some lines are dotted when the partial F test results are statistically significant, so that statistical analysis could be explored. This geometrical description can be obtained the final regression models based on the forward selection and backward elimination methods. And the goodness-of-fit for the model could be explored.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify online-game players' desire in cheating programs through Rene Girard's theory of mimetic desire. Cheating programs disrupts the magic circle of the game with denying the lusory attitude that players should have. The cheating players' desires do not go directly to victory, but are mediated by a virtual 'model player' which the rules of the game imply. They are internally mediated, so there is constant conflict in the play. Cheating players' desire to enhance skills by technology is defined as a false desire for transhuman.

  • International Maritime Organisation (IMO) regulations insist on reduced emission of CO2, noxious and other environmentally dangerous gases from ship, which are usually let out while burning fossil fuel for running its propulsive machinery. Contrallability of ship during sailing has a direct implication on its course keeping and changing ability, and tries to have an optimised routing. Bad coursekeeping ability of a ship may lead to frequent use of rudder and resulting changes in the ship's drift angle. Consequently, it increases vessels resistance and also may lead to longer path for its journey due to zigzag movements. These adverse effects on the ship journey obviously lead to the increase in fuel consumption and higher emission. Hence, IMO has made it mandatory to evaluate the manoeuvring qualities of a ship at the designed stage itself. In this paper a numerical horizontal planar motion mechanism is simulated in CFD environment and from the force history, the hydrodynamic derivatives appearing in the manoeuvring equation of motion of a ship are estimated. These derivatives along with propeller thrust and rudder effects are used to simulate different standard manoeuvres of the vessel and check its parameters against the IMO requirements. The present study also simulates these manoeuvres by using numerical free running model for the same ship. The results obtained from both these studies are presented and discussed here.
