  • Comparing with the conventional transformer without the air gap, a contact-less transformer with the large air-gap (4.8cm) between the long primary winding and the secondary winding has the increased leakage inductance and the reduced magnetizing inductance. By the increased leakage inductance and the reduced magnetizing inductance on the primary of the contact-less transformer, a good deal of the primary current circulates through magnetizing inductance, which results in a massive loss in contact-less power supply (CPS). In this paper, the efficiency characteristics of the contact-less power supply using a series resonant converter is analyzed and simulated. The results are verified on the simulation based on the theoretical analysis and the 1.8kW experimental prototype.

  • Fruits of Hovenia dulcis T. (Rhamnaceae) was called ′jiguja ′ in oriental medicine which has been used for diuresis, remove of hangover and leaves has been used for detoxified the alcohol. From the MeOH Extraction. five compounds were isolated by column chromatography and elucidated as quercetin quercetin-3-O-rhamnose. quercetin-3-O-gal(6"1") rha, quercetin-3-O-glc(6"${\rightarrow}$1")glc, and kaemferol through specroscopic methods. • Quercus species have been used for diarrhea. dysentery, dermatitis. haemoptoe, and haemorrhagia in Korean folk medicine. Specially Quercus salicina have been used for diuretic. anti-inflammatory. antiedemic. and litholytic agent. In order to investigate the efficacy of antioxidative activity the activity guided fraction and isolation of physiologically active substance were performed. (omitted)

  • Objectives : This is a clinical report about the Conversion Disorder, Wei symptom patient. Methods : The patient was treated by acupuncture, herb medication, moxibustion, physical therapy and bio feedback. The improvement of the patient was judged by lower limb elevation test and gait condition test. Results : During the 1st duration, lower limb elevation angle of the patient had improved. And the patient's gait condition had improved. But he received stress so that same symptom appeared again. Then, after the second treatment, He could walk alone again. Conclusions : Oriental medicine treatment including Acupuncture, Herb medication was very effctive to improve the Conversion disorder patient's symptoms. It is necessary to have more observation and many cases of patients with Conversion disorder.

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the oriental conservative treatment for FBSS patient who were diagnosed as the Cauda equina syndrome. Methods : The patient were treated by the oriental medical conservative treatment including herbal medication, dry needle acupuncture, direct moxibustion and indirect moxibustion, cupping therapy and, physical therapy. We estimated by Visual Analog Scale and Oswestry disability index for evaluate the effect of Oriental conservative treatment. Results : After treatment, patient's visual analogue scale score and Oswestry disability index score were generally decreased. Conclusions : The oriental medical conservative treatment might be an effective method to treat the FBSS patient who were diagnosed as the Cauda equina syndrome.
