  • In this paper, an advanced PWM modulation strategy for driving a variable-speed induction motor is introduced. According to this method, the technique of efficiently eliminating harmonics component is achived. A switching pattern was computed making use of the near-proportionality of voltage and frequency in AC machines operating with constant flux. At low magnitudes and low frequencies of the foundamental, many more harmonics are eliminated than at high magnitudes and frequencies. In order to keep the inverter switching frequency constant over the output frequency range, chopping times diminishes as the frequency of the fundamental increases.

  • As electrode materials like as Cu-Pb, Cu-Bi, WC-Ag, W-Ag for vacuum circuit breaker have high chopping current or bad insulation-recovery characteristics, it can affect induction machinery like as transformer and motor. To produce low surge electrode material, it have been suggested Co-Ag-Se electrode which were infiltrated with Ag-Se intermetallic compound into sintered Co matrix. In this study, we would like to represent that production method and microstructure of Co-Ag-Se electrode material. The microstructure and characteristics of Ag-Se intermetallic compound and Co-(Ag-Se) electrode were investigated by using SEM, XRD, EPMA.

  • 계통 연계형 시스템은 상용계통과 연계하여 운전되기 때문에 계통 보호 협조, 전력품질, 고조파 전류의 발생, 제어, 단독운전 검출 문제 등이 해결해야 할 문제들로 제기된다. 그 중에서 특히 단독운전 검출의 경우 필요성이 요구되면서 검출의 신뢰성이 보장되는 기법들에 대한 연구가 꾸준히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단독운전 현상을 능동적 주파수 변동 기법에서 주파수의 변화량과 cf(chopping fraction)의 변화량으로 주파수 변동의 상관관계를 이용한 새로운 단독운전 검출 기법을 제안하고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 타당성 및 유효성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper has been studied an A/D conversion system for precision weighing signal process In weighing system. A/D conversion has some problem.; offset drift voltage with environment situation and nonzero value of initial output voltage. The Offset voltage in analog circuit produces a drift of an output voltage before A/D conversion stage. This paper suggested the method of reducing the offset voltage by switching analog chopping circuit and making the initial output close to zero to enhance the swing range by D/A converter. Also, we have designed active filter and digital filter with Auto Zero Tracking algorithm for better signal process of the weighing system.

  • This paper presents a charcteristcic analysis switched reluctance motor (SRM) considering hard chopping and DC link voltage ripple by using time-stepped voltage source finite element method in which the magnetic field is combined with drive circuit. We also examine the influence of freewheeling diodes and DC link voltage ripple on the performance of the SRM such as torque ripples and radial force on the surface of the teeth The freewheeling diodes and DC link voltage ripples must be taken into account in predicted the performance of SRM

진공차단기 스위칭 써지 특성 해석 및 저감 방안 (Surge Characteristics Analysis and Reduction Method of Vacuum Circuit Breaker)

  • Vacuum circuit breaker(VCB) has been widely used for interruption of load current and fault current for high voltage motor in the industrial field. Its arc extinguishing capability is excellent compared to other breakers. But it has the potential to cause multi reignition surge by high extinguishing capability. Surge voltage is generated by the opening and closing of VCB. Multi reignition surge of VCB is steep-fronted waveform. It may have a detrimental effect on the motor winding insulation. So, most of users install a protection device to limit steep-front waveform at the motor terminal or breaker side. So, most of users install a protection device at the motor terminal or breaker side. This protective device is surge absorber(SA) such as ZnO and RC type. In this study, we analyzed whether there is any effect when two type SA is applied to the VCB multi reignition surge. We confirmed that ZnO SA is slightly more effective than RC SA for reduction of multi reignition surge.

  • BLDC 전동기는 선형적인 토크 대 전류, 속도 대 전압 특성을 갖고 있으며 기계적, 전기적인 잡음이 없고, 가감속 제어가 용이하며, 토크 대 관성의 비가 매우 높아 소형으로 높은 출력을 낼 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 그러나 전기자 전류의 전환(Commutation)시 고정자 권선의 인덕턴스 성분과 역기전력으로 인해 발생되는 전류 리플은 BLDC 전동기 토크리플의 중요한 원인이 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 고속 연산이 가능하고 별도의 외부 메모리 없이 칩 하나로 모든 동작을 할 수 있는 TMS320LF2407 DSP칩을 사용, Hard-chopping PWM 방식을 이용하여 전류 리플을 감소시켰으며, 이를 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 증명하였다.

  • As photovoltaic(PV) power generation systems become more common, it will be necessary to investigate islanding detection method for PV systems. Islanding of PV systems can cause a variety of problems and must be prevented. However, if the real and reactive powers of the load and PV system are closely matched, islanding detection by passive methods becomes difficult. Also, most active methods lose effectiveness when there are several PV systems feeding the same island. The active frequency drift positive feedback method(AFDPF) enables islanding detection by forcing the frequency of the voltage in the island to drift up or down. In this paper the research for the minimum value of chopping fraction gain applied digital phase-locked-loop (DPLL) to AFDPF considering output power quality and islanding prevention performance are performed by simulation and experiment according to IEEE Std 929-2000 islanding test.
