A Sensorless Switched Reluctance Drive System Based on the Improved Simplified Flux Method

  • This paper describes a new rotor position sensorless control method for SRM drives based on an improved simplified flux linkage method. In the traditional simplified flux linkage method, every phases take turns conduction and current chopping control method is used. Every phases take turns conduction means turning on the incoming working phase while turning off the working phase. This conduction mode causes coupling between turn-on and turn-off angles, which goes against optimal efficiency or torque ripple minimization with sensorless speed control. In the improved simplified flux linkage method, turn-off angle is calculated by flux loop, the turn-on angle can be given arbitrarily and has no relations with the turn-off angle, and the current chopping control method is used. The speed and rotor position can be estimated then. Finally, a sensorless SRM speed control system and an experiment platform with DSP are built and validity of this method is confirmed.

  • 본 논문은 DC 전동기에 공급되는 PV 시스템의 최대전력점추적에 대한 신경회로망 제어기를 제시한다. 다양한 일사량은 PV 시스템의 MPPT에 대하여 가장 중요한 요소이다. 일사량은 비선형적, 비주기적이고 복잡하다. 신경회로망은 복잡한 수학적 문제를 해결하는데 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 제안한 태양광 발전시스템은 신경회로망 제어기, DC-DC 컨버터, DC전동기, 부하로 구성되어 있다. 신경회로망 알고리즘은 컨버터의 쵸핑비를 계산하고 DC-DC 컨버터에 적용된다. 신경회로망의 출력은 수학적 모델링에 의해 계산된 값과 비교하고 알고리즘의 타당성을 제시한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 고주파 전류형 인버터의 출력을 제어하기 위하여 입력단의 쵸핑 스위칭 방법을 제안한다. 인버터의 출력제어는 스위칭 소자에 인가되는 구동신호에 위상천이의 크기에 따라 제어하고 있으며, 제한회로의 동작원리를 서술하였다. 또한 회로설계에 필요한 출력특성은 수치해석에 의해 평가자료를 도출하고 실험 장치를 제작하여 이론결과와 비교 검토하여 특성평가의 정당성을 입증하였다.

  • 스위치드 리럭턴스 모터(Switched Relutance Motor : 이하 SRM)는 이중 돌극형으로 되어있으며, 상권선은 고정자만 사용한다. 다른 어느 전동기보다도 간단한 구조를 가지고 있어 제작단가가 저렴하고, 기계적으로 견고하며, 고온 등의 열악한 환경에서도 신뢰성이 높으며, 브러쉬 등이 없어 유지비가 거의 들지 않는 장점을 지니고 있다. 그러나 SRM은 상여자를 위하여 회전자의 위치정보를 알아야하므로 위치 검출기가 필요하고, 정속도 운전을 위하여 타코 발전기나 엔코더가 부가적으로 필요하다. 그러나 본 논문에서는 회전자의 속도측정을 얻기 위하여 고가의 엔코더를 사용하지 않고, 단지 간단한 슬롯 디스크로부터 위치를 검출하여 속도를 추정할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제시하고 개발하였다. 속도 추정 알고리즘을 적용한 가변속 디지털 제어시스템을 구현하기 위하여 TI사의 TMS320F240-20MIPS 고정 소수점 연산용 프로세서를 사용하였다. 개발한 시스템을 실험한 결과 넓은 범위에 걸쳐 속도제어가 가능하였고, 단일 펄스모드, 하드 쵸핑모드 및 소프트 쵸핑모드 뿐만 아니라, 전류제어 동작모드에서 가변속 제어가 가능하였다. 그리고 어드밴스각 제어가 가능하였다.

  • There have been many changes in Subway train types since SeoulMetro opened the Line No.1 in 1974. Propulsion control device has changed many times following the generations of control method from resistance control method which uses large resistor for the traction motor control to chopping control which uses power semiconductors and finally to inverter control. Railroad vehicle propulsion control device refers to devices such as converter/inverter which supply power for subway operation, power conversion equipment like small switching-mode power supply and traction motor. In this paper, we will analyze every part of railroad vehicle propulsion control device of SeoulMetro so we can find problems in the subway operation. And we will present propulsion control device model which makes minimized failures, efficient maintenance possible when replacing railroad vehicle later. By doing this, we hope to ensure stability and improve energy efficiency to the top.

공진형 C-dump컨버터에 의한 SRM의 고성능 운전 (High performance operation of SRM by Resonant C-dump Converter)

  • In this paper, the operational performance of SRM can be improved by using current hysteresis control method. This method maintains a generally flat current waveform. At the high speed, the current chopping capability is lost due to the development of the back-EMF. Therefore SRM operates in single pulse mode. By using zero-current switching and zero-voltage switching technique, the stress of power switches can be reduce in chopping mode. When the commutation from one phase winding to another phase winding, the current can be zero as fast as possible in this period because several times negative voltage of DC-source voltage produce in phase winding. This paper is compared to performance based on conventional C-dump converter topology and the proposed resonant C-dump converter topology Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed circuit.

  • Recently, the study on the vibration analysis of machinery is greatly important and ESPI is widely used because of its many attractive features. Firstly, ESPI can be used to measure the vibration mode shape and the phase in real-time. Secondly, the conventional measuring methode, such as accelerometers, take much time to measure the whole field of object, but ESPI needs shorter time than other methods. Because ESPI is a field-inspection method. Thirdly, ESPI is a non-contact measuring system. ESPI does not have influence on the specimen. Beyond these features, there are several advantages in ESPI system. In this paper, the Stroboscopic ESPI system is described for measurement of a vibration mode shape. The Stroboscopic ESPI system had been used to visualize the vibration mode shape, in which EO(Electro-Optic)modulator was used to chop CW(Continuous Wavefront)laser. But it was not easy to control EO modulator and quantified the vibration amplitude and the phase of circular metal plate. At first, we found resonant frequency of the specimen by using time-averaged ESPI method. Nextly, the amplitudes of specimen were quantified by using Stroboscopic ESPI and we compare the results which were obtained in several chopping ratio.

  • This paper presents a circuit analysis and cotnrol example of favored configuration 6/4 SRM. SRM modeling and analysis are necessary for experiment. Thus this paper proposes a SRM modeling with PI controller (of driving converter) input voltage chopping and inductance profile when rotor position transformed. Through this simulation the designer can predict operating states of systems over a broad range of operating conditions.

  • The Attractive features of the proposed converter has lower number of power devices and also has full regenerative capability, freewheeling in chopping or PWM mode, simple control strategy and faster demagnetization during commutation. The dump component energy requirements are much lower in this converter topology than another C-dump converters. As a result, The proposed converter has improved efficiency in the overall system than Modified C-dump converter, this thesis was approved its superiority by simulation and experimental results.

  • The forming and design method of D.C thyristor chopper circuit for DC Series motor control is suggested, ard the computation method of thyristor commutaing element's, value which makes it all the more important, is possible. Also the trigger circuit was dealt with. In this paper, in order to control the duty cycle, the duty time is kept on constancy and variable chopping frequency was adopted. By above mentioned circuit design method, the D.C thyristor chopper circuit was implemented and tested. In this circuit, the result of D.C motor control was good and reliable. The relation between the $K_{d}$ and the ratio of input-output current, or the characteristic of speed was varied lineary at the range 0.1 ~ 0.9 of duty cycle. This confirms the fact that D.C to D.C power conversion which is the merit of chopper control is operated most likely a transformer.ormer.
