  • Waterproofing materials and construction methods have been developed and applied to various construction sites since the past. However, there many cases where the waterproofing performance is not satisfactory, leading to continuous water leakage. It has been observed that a key reason for this is because waterproofing method and material selection is not optimized in terms of the appropriate application area and environmental degradation factors. This paper proposes that future selection of waterproofing methods should consider the following evaluation criteria; 1) waterproof performance evaluation according to site conditions, 2) evaluation of construction method, 3) manufacturing and maintenance of waterproofing systems.

  • 현재 산업의 발전으로 인해 전기의 사용량이 증가하고 있는 상태이다. 이로 인하여 지락이나 단락과 같은 사고 발생 시 전류가 급격하게 증가하게 된다. 이러한 급격한 사고전류를 제한하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 재폐로 동작을 접목하여 전압 증가 시 사고유형별 3상 변압기형 초전도 한류기에 대해서 분석하였다. 재폐로 주기는 5-10-7-20주기로 설정하였고, 1선지락과 2선지락일 때 3상 변압기형 초전도 한류기의 전류제한에 대해서 분석해보면, 1선지락 일 때 2선지락 사고일 때보다 사고 제한율이 높은걸 확인 할 수 있다. 하지만 2개의 초전도 소자의 동시 ��치가 아닌 불균형 ��치가 일어나서 하나의 소자만이 전류를 제한하였다. 그리고 스위치가 open 되었을 때 초전도체의 회복특성은 전류제한과 마찬가지로 1선지락일 때 보다 빨리 회복되는 것을 확인 할 수 있다. 이처럼 사고 발생 시 사고전류를 낮게 제한하고, 재폐로 동작을 통하여 빠르게 사고 확인을 하여 사고를 차단할 수 있다고 사료된다.

  • A squamous odontogenic tumor (SOT) is rare disease and it is believed to originate from epithelial rests of Malassez of the periodontal membrane. Neither sex nor site predilection in either jaw has been established. Some lesion can be shown in juxtaposition in tooth roots. Although most lesions remain smaller than 2 cm, our cases involved a half of left mandibular ramus. The exact pathogenesis is still unknown. We report a case of SOT including the results of immunohistochemical study of pancytokeratin and p53.

  • 다형성 웜은 새로운 감염시도 때마다. 그 형태가 계속 변형되기 때문에 시그너처 기반의 탐지 기법으로는 탐지될 수 없다. 또한 이러한 다형성 웜은 주로 공개된 다형성 엔진을 이용하여 쉽게 자동적으로 생성할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 네트워크 트래픽에 포함된 실행코드의 명령어 분포를 분석하여, 다형성 웜을 포함한 트래픽을 탐지하는 기법을 제시한다. 또한 제안하는 시스템의 성능을 모의 실험을 통해 평가한 결과, 다형성 엔진으로 생성된 웜은 전부 탐지되고 약 0.0286%의 낮은 오탐지율을 보인다.

  • In this paper, we describe the intrabed and interbed network in a developed patient monitoring system. Intrabed network handles data communication among the main unit of a bedside monitor and parameter modules plugged in it. Interbed network deals with a higher level data communication among many bedside monitors, central stations, DB servers, and clinical workstations. Analyzing the data communication requirements in each stage of the system, we designed the intrabed network based upon RS-485 and HDLC protocol with 1Mbps data rate. Interbed network is designed to utilize the industry standard 10Base-T Ethernet with TCP/IP and UDP protocol. We present the specifications and the performances of the developed data communication networks in the patient monitoring system.

Lifetime estimation for current sensor by accelerated life test (가속수명시험을 통한 전류센서의 수명 예측)

  • Hall-type current sensors have been widely used in many fields such as elevator and train system. To estimate lifetime of hall-type current sensors, an accelerated life test with real-time monitoring system simultaneously was designed and performed in high temperature environment with three different temperatures. From the experimental results, activation energy was about 0.9 eV, and acceleration factor was about 450 based on Arrhenius model. As a results, $B_{10}$ lifetime of hall-type current sensor is estimated to be 65,460 hours.

  • Although many waterproofing materials and techniques have been developed and applied, there is still a leakage in concrete structures. The main reason for the failure of waterproofing is due to the lack of consideration of the environmental conditions and the inconsistent performance requirement of the waterproofing materials in response to the complexity of the environmental conditions., and materials that are unsuitable to the environment are still being selected for usage due to their low price. Moreover, there is no valid test assessment for waterproofing materials to be used prior to actual application in the construction site. The development of a testing method and apparatus that can evaluate the composite waterproofing method is proposed in this paper and an interpretation method that can analyze the results of the evaluation.

  • Phase transformation of Bi-2223 tape during the final heat treatment has been investigated through the various duration time of heat treatment in a specially designed 3-step heat treatment. It was found that the phase assemblage in the sintering was determined by the sintering time and temperature. In this study, sintering time was changed to optimize the Bi-2223 phase assemblage, and acquire high critical current density. High critical current samples with Ic = 85 A and Je = 8.9 kA/$cm^2$ have been measured at 77K and self-field for 55-filament tapes sintered by optimum condition.

  • KS standards mostly relate to single component material evaluation, so in cases of underground structure environments, most cannot predict the existing composite forms of deterioration, resulting in the applied waterproofing materials becoming unable to respond to these damaging factors. Current domestic waterproofing market in Korea mainly uses single-ply waterproofing materials comprised of coatings or waterproof sheets and two or more-ply composite waterproofing methods. In order to evaluate these types of composite waterproofing systems, a new test equipment and method that incorporates various deterioration conditions (joint displacement, chemical exposure, water pressure etc) was developed. In a comparison testing, the results showed that flexible type materials have higher response performance towards joint displacement than the hardened material.

  • New waterproofing technologies have emerged in the field of building waterproofing due to the recent diversification of the size and type of structures, the enhancement of required performance, and the diversification of new technologies (such as materials and methods)(Sheet waterproofing material, coating waterproofing material) is reduced, and composite waterproofing materials that utilize mutual benefits are widely used by compounding them (sheet+coating film, coating film+sheet). However, it is true that there is no evaluation method that can verify these composite waterproof materials, which is the most widely used at present, but the KS standard only specifies tests for individual materials However, there is a situation in which the countermeasures without a test method for composite waterproofing become sudden.
