The purpose of this paper is to test the hypothesis that some early Chinese meridians were described by haptic exploration of the arterial pulse. The method is as follows: First, the relevant passages of the Mawangdui medical texts, the oldest meridian monographs, are translated based on perceptual anatomy. Second, the pulse is haptically searched for in the palm, lower arm, upper arm, armpit, and torso of the human body. Finally, their locations are compared with the translation. As a result, It was confirmed that the pulse locations detected on the body were mostly consistent with the routes of the meridians described in the texts. So meridians were haptically detectable pulse routes. What is known today as the flow direction of hand-yin meridians is actually the direction of searching the pulse. Our result runs counter to Huang Longxiang's claim that the route of the meridians are virtual routes set by speculation. Our findings also dispute Vivien Shaw's claim that the meridians of Mawangdui medical texts were discovered by anatomical dissection. They also refute the claim that meridians were discovered by the extrasensory perception of the inner sight (內觀) and the subjective experience of the meridian sensitive person. The hand-yin meridians of Mawangdui medical texts are well described so that anyone can find them by touching them with their fingers.
Plasma disruption in tokamak experiments is a challenging issue that causes damage to the device. Reliable prediction methods are needed, but the lack of full understanding of plasma disruption limits the effectiveness of physics-driven methods. Data-driven methods based on supervised learning are commonly used, and they rely on labelled training data. However, manual labelling of disruption precursors is a time-consuming and challenging task, as some precursors are difficult to accurately identify. The mainstream labelling methods assume that the precursor onset occurs at a fixed time before disruption, which leads to mislabeled samples and suboptimal prediction performance. In this paper, we present disruption prediction methods based on anomaly detection to address these issues, demonstrating good prediction performance on J-TEXT and EAST. By evaluating precursor onset times using different anomaly detection algorithms, it is found that labelling methods can be improved since the onset times of different shots are not necessarily the same. The study optimizes precursor labelling using the onset times inferred by the anomaly detection predictor and test the optimized labels on supervised learning disruption predictors. The results on J-TEXT and EAST show that the models trained on the optimized labels outperform those trained on fixed onset time labels.
To evaluate the antioxidant activities of Korean and Chinese Torreya seeds, their total phenolic compound content, total flavonoid content, DPPH radical and ONOO-scavenging activities were compared using their water and methanol extracts. The effective compounds were identified and quantitatively analyzed by GC-MS. The DPPH and ONOO-scavenging activities were the highest in the Korean Torreya seeds. After using GC-MS to identify the active compounds, a total of eight compounds were identified in Korean Torreya seeds, and five compounds were found in Chinese Torreya seeds. In conclusion, we could confirm the antioxidant activity and the difference between active compounds of the Korean and Chinese Torreya seeds; we also confirmed the superiority of Korean Torreya seeds. Futhermore, this basic data about the Korean and Chinese Torreya seeds can be provided to consumers, so that they can select proper and suitable functional foods.
Recently with the research function, "XML Digital collection of Sijo Texts in the Period of Modern Enlightenment" DB data is being provided through the Korean Research Memory (http://www.krm.or.kr) and the foundation for the constructing the contents of Sijo Texts in the Period of Modern Enlightenment has been laid. In this paper, by reviewing the characteristics and problems of Digital collection of Sijo Texts in the Period of Modern Enlightenment and searching for the improvement, I tried to find a way to make it into the content. This database has the primary meaning in the integrating and glancing at the vast amounts of Sijo in the Period of Modern Enlightenment to reaching 12,500 pieces. In addition, it is the first Sijo data base which is provide the variety of search features according to literature, name of poet, title of work, original text, per period, and etc. However, this database has the limits to verifying the overall aspects of the Sijo in the Period of Modern Enlightenment. The title and original text, which is written in the archaic word or Chinese character, could not be searched, because the standard type text of modern language is not formatted. And also the works and the individual Sijo works released after 1945 were missing in the database. It is inconvenient to extract the datum according to the poet, because poets are marked in the various ways such as one's real name, nom de plume and etc. To solve this kind of problems and improve the utilization of the database, I proposed the providing the standard type text of modern language, giving the index terms about content, providing the information on the work format and etc. Furthermore, if the Sijo database in the Period of Modern Enlightenment which is prepared the character of the Sijo Culture Information System could be built, it could be connected with the academic, educational contents. For the specific plan, I suggested as follow, - learning support materials for the Modern history and the national territory recognition on the Modern Age - source materials for studying indigenous animals and plants characters creating the commercial characters - applicability as the Sijo learning tool such as Sijo Game.
It has been suggested that Jeungsan's prophetic poem that starts with the verse "For about seven or eight years, there will be a castle in the ancient country [七八年間古國城] ⋯" originally comes from Prophecies of Jeong Gam (鄭鑑錄). Despite Jeungsan, himself, obviously having been critical of that text, this claim has become the basic grounds for discourse suggesting that Jeungsan was not only interested in Prophecies of Jeong Gam but also considerably influenced by the text. However, the claim itself was formulated due to misunderstandings of the Chinese poems that had been included in A Compilation of Secret Prophecies Hidden in the Family-clan of Seogye (西溪家臧訣). These poems pursue a different ideological orientation than the poem from Prophecies of Jeong Gam. Ultimately, the Chinese poem in the verse 84 the chapter titled, Prophetic Elucidations in The Canonical Scripture of Daesoon Jinrihoe cannot provide a basis for the claim that Jeungsan was strongly influenced by Prophecies of Jeong Gam. This claim that Prophecies of Jeong Gam made a deep impact on Jeungsan and Daesoon Thought was based on three other texts outside of those that appear within verse 84 of Prophetic Elucidations. The first supposedly-related line is: "Heaven opens at the period of the Rat (Ja 子), Earth opens at the period of the Ox (Chuk 丑), humankind starts at the period of the Tiger (Ihn 寅)." This line comes from from Shao Kangjie's Book of Supreme World Ordering Principles (皇極經世), and the line could be quoted idiomatically as an expression in the Joseon Dynasty. Accordingly, attempts to relate Daesoon Thought to Prophecies of Jeong Gam are a distortion that arise from the assumption that Jeungsan had a significant interest in Prophecies of Jeong Gam. The second related line is "At the foot of Mount Mother (母岳山), a golden icon of Buddha has the ability to speak [母岳山下 金佛能言]." That line is nearly identical to the verse "On the summit of Mount Mother, a golden icon of Buddha has the ability to speak [母岳山頭 金佛能言]." Yet, Jeungsan changed '頭 (du, the summit)' to '下 (ha, the foot or under)' and express his own unique religious prophecy. This allusion to the prophecies of Jeong Gam is actually a criticism designed to disprove the earlier prophecy. Third, is the verse, "The form of Buddhism, creation of daoism, and propriety of Confucianism [佛之形體仙之造化儒之凡節]," which is characteristically related to Daesoon Thought. This verse can only be found in the prophetic text, Prophecies of Chochang (蕉蒼訣), and it is provided a main source when alleging that Prophecies of Jeong Gam was an influence on Daesoon Thought. However, considering the context of Prophecies of Chochang and the year of its publication (it is assumed to be compiled after 1950s), this does not hold water as Jeungsan had already passed into Heaven several decades before that time. This disqualifies the verse from being a basis for asserting Prophecies of Jeong Gam as an influence on Daesoon Thought. Contrary to the original assertion, there is a considerable amount of evidence that Prophecies of Chochang absorbed aspects of Daesoon Thought, which were simply revised in a novel way. There is no truly compelling evidence underpinning the argument that Prophecies of Jeong Gam had a unilateral impact on Daesoon Thought. There seems to be a great deal of confusion and numerous misinterpretations on this matter. Therefore, the claim that Daesoon Thought, as developed by Jeungsan, was influenced by the discourse on dynastic revolution and feng shui contained in Prophecies of Jeong Gam should be re-examined at the level of its very premise.
It is crucial for the social media based marketing practices to perform sentiment analyze the unstructured data written by the potential consumers of their products and services. In particular, when it comes to the companies which are interested in global business, the companies must collect and analyze the data from the social media of multinational settings (e.g. Youtube, Instagram, etc.). In this case, since the texts are multilingual, they usually translate the sentences into a certain target language before conducting sentiment analysis. However, due to the lack of cultural differences and highly qualified data dictionary, translated sentences suffer from misunderstanding the true meaning. These result in decreasing the quality of sentiment analysis. Hence, this study aims to propose a method to perform a multilingual sentiment analysis, focusing on Korean-Chinese cases, while avoiding language translations. To show the feasibility of the idea proposed in this paper, we compare the performance of the proposed method with those of the legacy methods which adopt language translators. The results suggest that our method outperforms in terms of RMSE, and can be applied by the global business institutions.

Objectives: To analyze whether a concept similar to Korean 'Hwabyung' exists in China. We investigated the status of clinical studies conducted in China for relevant diseases and trends of the traditional Chinese medicinal (TCM) treatment adopted in clinical studies. Methods: To explore the concept of a condition similar to Korean Hwabyung in China, we searched for the existence of concept and pattern that were parallel or similar to those of Hwabyung in TCM text-books and diagnostic guidelines. We searched and analyzed clinical studies of TCM treatment for depression syndrome similar to Hwabyung from CNKI using terms 'depression' and 'qi stagnation transforming into fire'. Using extracted data, characteristics of clinical research, herbal medicine, and acupuncture treatment used in the clinical research and their effects were systematically reviewed. Results: Symptoms of 'qi stagnation transforming into fire' were most similar to those of Hwabyung. Nine articles were selected from a total 258 articles. Most of them used DSM-IV or CCMD-3 for depression diagnosis. They applied 'diagnostic and efficacy guidelines for TCM diseases and syndromes' for pattern diagnosis of 'qi stagnation transforming into fire'. Danzhixiaoyao-san and Jiaweixiaoyao-san were found to be effective when they were used alone or in combination with antidepressants. Acupuncture treatment also showed remarkable effect on LR3, HT7, LI4, PC6, GV20 when it was used alone or in combination with antidepressants. However, careful interpretation is required because a small number of studies are included.Conclusions: 'Qi stagnation transforming into fire' seemed to have symptoms similar to Hwabyung. However, further research is needed to determine its diseases and pattern types compared to Hwabyung. According to included studies of 'depression with Qi stagnation transforming into fire', herbal medicine and acupuncture treatment tended to be effective in relieving depressive symptoms. However, more discussion is required for future application of herbal medicine and acupuncture for treating Hwabyung.
Russian anarchist thinker P. A. Kropotkin had a significant impact on the school of thought, the literary field and the anarchist movement in East Asia in the early 20th century. This paper examines the history of the translation of Kropotkin in terms of the routes and paths of translation in colonial Korea in comparison with those in Japan and China. It is a known fact that the acceptance of Kropotkin in colonial Korea is owed to pioneering translation works in Japan, but it appears that there have been various transformations and magnetizations in the process of translating the texts into the Korean language. Despite a disturbing censorship, the works of Kropotkin, such as "I appeal to the youth ("Aux Jeunes Gens" in French)", were imported, translated and distributed by various routes throughout the 1920s and there were various versions of translated Korean texts. At this point, it is noteworthy that there are works which were translated from Chinese texts about Kropotkin, such as the works of Yu Seo (柳絮), and it can be said that there is a relationship between Korean translations and Chinese original texts. Since the 1930s, the phenomenon of the appropriation of Kropotkin as a litterateur and critic rather than an anarchist thinker is particularly apparent, and this allows us to understand that Kropotkin became a major pathway to interpret Russian literature in East Asia. In colonial Korea, translations of Kropotkin were generally via Japan and China, but the process of translation also showed the struggle to accept and adapt 'the foreign text' into the Korean language.
This study aimed to examine the dilemma of rural China under rapid urbanization process after economic reform, by paying attention to the problem of the order of village community and the expression of individual desires depicted in the film with a rural background. To this end, the narrative analysis, which is suitable for exploring the story structure and expression style of the text, was conducted to examine the community order and ethics, patriarchy and paternity, and the expression of desires of subject. In the film, closed space and villagers, who are disciplined by community customs, local culture, and formality of the rule of manners, are depicted. The film is covered in a form of mystery movie dealing with the deaths of members of the village community. However, the film talks about the rise of the Imaginary desire of subject against the symbolic rules of community order and ethics through the puzzle pieces story according to the perspectives of the characters. In conclusion, through the narrative analysis, it was possible to examine the implications of weakened communal discipline and paternity of the countryside by the rapid urbanization of China, and implications of the lethargy and neurosis of the subjects.

Advances in digital and mobile technology have enabled video viewing anytime, anywhere. It can provide a visual experience and create an atmosphere of "surrounding and watching" and eliminate loneliness. Barrage itself provides a function to comment on videos, which is a trigger point for the reason, and donation adds to the amount of information in the video, adding to the fun of the video. Through the barrage, sarcastic, teasing, and expressing emotions can bring entertainment experiences, and users can produce and communicate their shooting text while consuming the satisfaction brought by the shooting.
