과제특성에 따른 유아의 반사실적 연역추론 (Children's Counterfactual Reasoning According to Task Conditions)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the process of counterfactual reasoning which children undergo, based on mental model theory and dual process theory. The subjects were 120 four-year-olds and 120 five-year-olds from Ulsan. Counterfactual reasoning task conditions were created, including task type and content, which were type 1-specific, type 1-general, type 2-specific, type 2-general. There were two stories used for each task condition. Children's counterfactual reasoning score range was 0 to 8. Data were analyzed using SPSS by mean, standard deviation, one sample t-test, repeated measures of Anova. The results of this study were as follows. First, children's counterfactual reasoning was above chance level regardless of the task condition. Second, children's counterfactual reasoning was lowest when type 1-specific or type 2-specific tasks were given, slightly higher when type1-general tasks were given, and the highest when type 2-general tasks were given. There was no significant difference between 4-year-old and 5-year-old children's counterfactual reasoning.

어머니의 과보호와 유아의 놀이 중 또래상호작용: 사회적 미성숙과 위축의 매개역할을 중심으로 (Maternal Overprotection and Young Children's Interactions with Peers During Play: The Mediating Roles of Social Immaturity and Withdrawal of Children)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the pathway from mothers' overprotective parenting to their child's peer play interactions mediated by internalizing problems, that is, social immaturity and withdrawal. Methods: Surveys were conducted on mothers and teachers of 341 children aged three to five. SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the data using descriptive statistics. Structural modeling analysis was also implemented to test theoretical model using AMOS 21.0. Results: Maternal overprotective parenting, which increased social immaturity of their child, indirectly reduced the child's positive interactions with peers during play. Mothers' overprotection led to a higher level of withdrawal of their child while the effect of children's withdrawal on their peer play interaction was not significant. Because overactive parenting of mothers had no direct effect on peer play interaction, the complete mediation model representing a path from maternal overprotection to children's peer play interaction via their internalizing problems was partially supported. Conclusion/Implications: This study shows that overprotective mothers hinder their child to experience confident and mature manners, and eventually lead their child to be socially unskillful and incompetent. It was suggested to explore more individual characteristics of mothers and children to help overprotective mothers to take a step back.

유자녀 취업여성의 후속출산의도 결정 경로 분석 - 가치관적 요인을 중심으로 - (A Pathway Analysis on Determination of Intention of Second Childbirth in Working Women with a Child: Focused on Value Factors)

  • 본 연구는 '자녀가 있는 취업여성의 후속자녀 출산의도'가 어떠한 요인의 영향을 받으며, 어떠한 경로로 결정되는지를 규명하기 위한 연구이다. 본 연구는 특히 '가치관적 요인'의 영향력에 주목하여 '자녀가치관'을 특성에 따라 '개인주의적 자녀가치관'과 '집단주의적 자녀가치관'으로 구분하고 이외 주요 변수들과의 관계를 살펴볼 수 있는 연구 모형을 설정하였다. 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 제안한 모형은 측정모형분석과 구조모형 분석을 통해 유자녀 취업여성의 후속출산의도를 설명하기에 적합한 모형인 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 우리나라에서 자녀가 하나 있는 취업여성의 후속자녀를 출산하고자 하는 의도는 여성의 '자녀가치관'에 의해 직접적으로 가장 강하게 예측될 수 있었다. 셋째, 경제적 자원과 공·사적 서비스 자원은 다른 요인을 매개하여 간접적으로 개인의 출산의도에 영향을 미치는 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 경제적 자원은 공·사적 서비스 자원 경험 수준에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 다섯째, 개인주의적 자녀가치관과 집단주의적 자녀가치관은 일-가정의 양립과 관련된 여성의 환경 조건에 의해 영향을 받아 형성·변화될 수 있는 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 본 연구에서는 취업여성의 출산율 고양을 위해서는 이들의 일-가정 양립을 둘러싼 환경 조건의 변화를 통해 긍정적 자녀가치관을 형성하는 것이 중요함을 제안하였다.

도서관 아동서비스를 위한 직무분석 연구 (A Study of the Job Analysis for Library Children's Services in Korea)

  • 이 연구는 국내외 도서관의 직무사례를 분석한 선행연구 결과를 바탕으로 국내 도서관의 아동서비스 직무를 분석하고 표준모형을 제안한 후속연구이다. 이를 위하여 공공도서관과 아동도서관을 대상으로 직무에 대한 인식도를 조사 분석한 다음에 아동서비스를 강화하기 위한 표준 직무모형(중요성, 난이도, 전문성, 수행요건)을 제안하였다. 또한 표준 직무모형의 실천성을 화보하기 위한 아동사서의 전문성 제고와 자격제도화 방안을 제시하였다.

만성질환아의 자기관리에 대한 개념 분석 (Concept Analysis of the Self Management in Children with Chronic Disease)

  • Purpose: The goal of this study was to define and clarify the concept of "self management" of children with chronic diseases. Methods: For analyzing the concept of self management, this study used the hybrid model. This study involved in-depth interviewing nine children with chronic disease. Results: The concept of self management of children with chronic disease can be categorized with three dimensions: internal, environmental, and behavioral aspects. Besides, five attributes and thirteen indicators were analyzed. The concept of self management of children with chronic disease can be expressed as a kind of process; a) re-established yourself (internal dimension), b) assistance by the surrounded (environmental dimension), and c) positive health management behavior with self control of daily life (behavioral dimension). Conclusion: The self management is important for children with chronic disease to control their disease for long time. The attributes and indicators drawn by this study could be used for tool development and useful resources of self management competence in children with chronic disease.

The Effects of discrimination abuser experiences and discrimination victim experiences on consciousness of Human Rights's at community children centers : Mediating Effects of Self-Esteem

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of discrimination abuser experiences and discrimination victim experiences on the human rights consciousness of children in community children, In order to understand the role of self-esteem as a mediating role between these two variables, And to find practical and policy implications. For this purpose, we selected 662 elementary school sixth graders who participated in the second panel of the community children's center, the third year (2016), as the sample and used the structural equation model validation method. As a result of this study: First, the experience of discrimination abuser against children in the community children's center has negative effects on self - esteem. Second, the self-esteem of children in the community children's center showed a statistically significant effect on human rights consciousness. Third, the experiences of child discrimination abuse and discrimination of local children's centers showed significant influence on children's consciousness of human rights through self - esteem. In conclusion, we proposed practical use measures to promote positive emotional development and human rights consciousness of children in community children's centers.

고압 송전선로 주변에 위치한 초등학교 학생들의 극저주파 자기장 노출량 예측 모델에 관한 연구 (Study about Prediction Model to Extremely Low Frequency Magnetic Fields for the Selected Primary Schoolchildren Nearby High Voltage Power Line)

  • The objectives of this study were to evaluate personal exposure estimated using a time activity pattern and microenvironmental model. The study was carried out for 44 children attending a primary school nearby the lines (school A) and 125 children attending a school away from 154 kV power lines (school B). For children attending school A, the estimated personal level was a little weak correlated with the measured level($Pearson\;r\;=0.34{\sim}0.35$). For children attending school B, the correlation was very low ($Pearson\;r\;=\;0.09{\sim}0.16$) using the TW A Model II, otherwise, TWA Model II-I which considered the average residential MF level according to the distance from the power line and home explained $39{\sim}53%$ of the correlation in MF personal exposures. The estimated personal exposure level was very well represented by the measured exposure level using TWA Model II-2 which consisted on spot and 24 h stationary measurements at subject's home ($Pearson\;r\;=\;0.65{\sim}0.85$). In conclusion, personal magnetic field expsoure estimated using a TWA Model II-2 should be provided for a reasonable estimate of measured exposure in schoolchildren living near the power line.

과학영재교육센터 교육체제의 효율적인 운영방안에 관한 연구 (A Study for Advancing the Educational System of the Science Education Center for Gifted Youth)

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest an advanced system for educating scientifically gifted children in the Center for Science Talented Education at Kyungpook National University. Several suggestions based on analysis of current identifying-process and instructional materials for scientifically gifted children were provided for advancing the educational system of the center. First, this study suggested a three-step procedure to identify procedure emphasized students reasoning skills as one of important characteristics of the gifted child. Second, this study provided an instructional model for developing hypothesis testing skills in scientifically gifted children. The model was originally based on Lawson's scientific reasoning processes and learning cycle mode. Third, this study also suggested an effective administration system of the Center for Science Talented Education. Further, this study suggested effective ways on research works for advancing the center, educating instructors, the cyber center for remote education, and international co-works for developing the gifted children's potential abilities.

잠재성장모형을 적용한 유아기 관계적 공격성의 발달궤적 (Trajectories of Relational Aggression in Preschool Children by the Latent Growth Curve Model)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate trajectories of relational aggression in preschool children. The latent growth curve model was used to examine relational aggression in 3 to 5 year olds. The participants were 3-year-old children recruited from preschools and daycare centers. The children's verbal ability was assessed by interview and teachers completed measurements of negative emotionality and relational aggression. The findings suggest that relational aggression decreased during the preschool years. Gender, language ability, and negative emotionality showed positive effects on the initial level of relational aggression. Moreover, gender and negative emotionality had negative effects, however, language ability had positive effects on the change rate of relational aggression.

발달에 적합한 유아과학 수업절차모형이 유아의 호기심과 문제해결력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of a Developmentally Appropriate Instruction Model for Science on the Curiosity and Problem Solving of Preschoolers)

  • This study investigated the effectiveness of the Developmentally Appropriate Instruction Model for Science(DAIM-S) on increasing scientific curiosity and problem solving in young children. Subjects were 60 5-year-old middle class children, randomly assigned to one of two groups: either the DAIM-S group or the direct instruction group. For 2 months, the children in both groups took part in 21 science activity sessions. Both before and after treatment, subjects were tested on curiosity and scientific problem solving. The DAIM-S group showed higher achievement than the direct instruction group in the acquisition of curiosity and scientific problem solving. From these results, the researchers suggest application of the DIAM-S to the science teaching of young children.
