시멘트계 주입재 종류별 주입 특성 및 환경적 영향 연구 (The Injection Characteristics and Environmental Effects for Grouting Materials Based on Cement)

  • 본 연구에서는 재료분야에서 최근의 기술동향인 고강도.고침투성.고내구성 및 환경에 대한 안정성이 높은 주입재료의 배합설계를 실시하여 주입목적, 지반조건에 따른 주입효과와 환경적 영향성을 분석.검토함으로써 현장적용시 주입설계의 기초자료로 제안하고자 한다. 주입재의 물리, 역학.화학적 특성 및 입자형상을 파악하고 작업성과 침투범위 조정에 필수적인 겔타임을 조정하였다. 또한 실내모형시험을 통하여 고결성, 침투성 및 내구성 평가를 수행하였다. 환경적 영향평가를 위해 본 연구에서 사용된 재료는 현장에서 일반적으로 사용되는 보통포틀랜드시멘트, 고로슬래그시멘트와 초미립자시멘트를 사용하였다. 시멘트계 그라우트재에서의 6가 크롬의 용출특성을 판단하기 위해 원재료의 6가크롬 함유량 시험과 pH변화에 따른 6가크롬의 용출변화량 시험 그리고 그라우트가 적용되는 주변환경에 따른 특성파악을 위해 호모겔을 제작하여 양생수를 각각 초순수, 침출수로 하여, 양생수에 따른 그라우트 호모겔의 일축압축강도 및 6가크롬 용출량의 변화를 시험하였다.

  • 폐전자스크랩에서 유가금속을 회수하기 위하여 곰팡이균으로 Aspergillus niger를 이용한 Cu, Zn, Al, Co, Ni, Fe, Sn, Pb의 침출 거동을 조사하였다. Aspergillus niger는 전자스크랩의 존재 하에 배양이 가능하였고 신진대사 작용에 의해 유기산(구연산 및 옥살산)을 생성함으로써 폐전자스크랩에서 각 금속들을 침출시키는 것을 알 수 있었다. 예비실험으로 먼저 구연산 및 옥살산을 이용한 화학침출 실험으로부터 Cu, Zn, Al, Co, Fe, Sn, Pb의 침출거동을 조사하였다. Aspergillus niger를 이용한 미생물 침출 실험의 결과 전자스크랩의 농도가 50g/L인 경우 Cu 및 Co의 침출율은 95%이상이었고, Al, Zn, Pb 및 Sn의 경우는 15-35%의 침출율을 나타냈으며 Ni 및 Fe의 경우는 10%이하의 침출율을 보였다.

  • 규질이암의 열처리 및 산 침출이 소듐 실리케이트나 규산 수용액과 같은 실리카 전구물질 순도에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 규질이암의 열처리 온도, 산 침출시 염산 농도 및 황산 농도를 변화시키며 전구물질 내에 실리콘 함량을 최대한 높이면서 에너지 및 화학약품의 소모는 최소화하는 조건을 구하였다. 열처리는 $600^{\circ}C$, 산 침출은 1.56 M의 염산만 사용하였을 경우 최적이었다. 소듐 실리케이트와 규산 수용액의 실리콘 순도는 각각 최대 99.2%와 99.5%였다.

잔류 불산에 의한 모델 지질토양시료의 광물 용해 및 비소 용출 특성 (Impact of Residual Hydrofluoric Acid on Leaching of Minerals and Arsenic from Different Types of Geological Media)

  • This study explored secondary effects of the residual hydrofluoric acid (HF) after a hypothetical acid spill accident by investigating the long-term dissolution of minerals and leaching of pre-existing arsenic (As) from two soil samples (i.e., KBS and KBM) through batch and column experiments. An increase in the HF concentration in both soil samples resulted in a dramatic increase in the release of major cations, especially Si. However, the amounts of mineral dissolved were dependent on the soil type and mineral characteristics. Compared to the KBM soil, relatively more Ca, Mg and Si were dissolved from the KBS soil. The column experiment showed that the long-term dissolution rates of the minerals are closely associated with the acid buffering capacity of the two soils. The KBM soil had relatively higher effluent pH values compared to the KBS soil. Also, more As was leached from the KBM soil, with a more amorphous hydrous oxide-bound As fraction. These results suggest that the potential of heavy metal leaching by the residual acid after an acid spill will be influenced by heavy metal speciation and mineral structure in the affected soil.

기상열화가 방부처리재의 구리성분 용탈에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Accelerated Weathering on the Leaching of Copper from Preservative Treated Wood)

  • 본 연구는 앞서 발표한 「수용성 방부처리재의 촉진 기상열화 저항성 평가」의 부속실험으로서 기상열화가 방부처리재의 유효성분 중 구리의 용탈에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위하여 수행되었다. ACQ, CCA, CuAz 처리시편을 대상으로 실시한 자외선 조사 유무에 따른 기상열화 조건에서 공통된 유효성분인 구리의 용탈량은 방부제의 종류에 관계없이 인공강우만 실시했을 때보다 자외선 조사를 함께 겸했던 시편에서 높게 나타났다. 방부처리 전후와 방부처리재의 촉진열화 전후의 목재표면을 FTIR을 이용하여 분석하였는데, 그 결과 구리가 정착되는 것으로 판단되는 1731 cm-1, 1625 cm-1, 1510 cm-1 흡수대가 촉진열화에 의해 큰 변화를 나타냈다. 이는 리그닌과 결합되었던 구리가 리그닌의 자외선 열화시 리그닌과 함께 용출 되었음을 시사한다.

  • The grouting method is widely used as the impermeable effect and ground reinforcement in construction. But, it has a problem that cement and grout material are not mixed well in the injection tip equipment and an opposite flow and interception state of the chemical grouting is happened. so, continuous work is difficult. McG method installed a special grouting and device, made possible go well mixing of grouting material and prevent flowing backward and block of nozzle also diversify powder rate of cement that is grouting material to select sutible material in layer conditions. YSS that lowered $Na_2O$ influencing durability and circumstance is developed by gel-forming reaction material. so eco-circumstance and durability is increased by minimizing dissolution of underground water. In this study, it is assumed that seepage state of the injection material using a special injection tip equipment and a unconfined compressive strenth by mixing a various injection material of various. And it is confirmed that strenth increase effect and permeable decrease of the improved body through the test execution and field execution.

McG(맥) 주입공법에 의한 지반보강 및 차수효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ground Reinforcement and Impermeable Effect by McG)

  • The grouting method is widely used in construction to reduce permeability and reinforce the ground. If the cement and grout material are not mixed well in the injection tip equipment, an opposite flow and Interception state of the chemical grouting can occur. McG method installs a special grouting device to allow better mixing of the grouting material and prevent backward flow. The block of nozzle also diversify powder rate of cement. YSS that lowers $Na_2O$ and thereby increases durability is developed by gel-forming reaction material. In this study, the seepage state and unconfined compressive strength of the injection material using the special injection tip equipment is tested. The results of laboratory and field tests clearly demonstrate that the strength increases and permeability decreases using the McG method.

  • 1. EAF Dust in Japan - Generation and Characteristics. The quantity of dust generated from EAF shops in Japan was estimated to be 520,000 tons/year in 1999. Extremely fine dust (or fume) is formed in the EAF by metal vaporization. Its characteristics such as chemical compositions, phases, particle size, leaching of heavy metal are mentioned. 2. EAF Dust Treatment Methods in Japan. In 1999, 61% of EAF dust was treated by regional zinc recovery processing routes, 25% went to landfill disposal, 4% was reused as cement material, and 10% was treated by on-site processing routes. The problems of EAF dust treatment methods in Japan are: (1) very high treatment cost, and (2) heavy environmental load (leaching of heavy metal, emission of dioxins, depletion of disposal sites, etc). It has been much hoped for that new dust management technology would be developed. 3. New technology of EAF dust treatment in Japan. In Japan, some new technologies of EAF dust treatment have been developed, and some others are in the developing stages. Following five processes are mentioned:. (1) Smelting reduction process by Kawasaki Steel, (2) DSM process by Daido Steel, (3) VHR process by Aichi Steel, (4) On-site dust direct recycling technology, and (5) Process technology of direct separation and recovery of iron and zinc metals contained in high temperature EAF off gas by the Japan Research and Development Center fur Metals.

호소의 난분해 물질 축적 영향요인의 평가 (Evaluation of Affecting Factors for Refractory Organics Accumulated in the Lakes)

  • Long-term monitoring results of water qualities at major lakes in Korea showed COD (chemical oxygen demand) concentrations have been increasing while BOD (biochemical oxygen demand) concentrations have been decreasing during last decades. This was mainly due to refractory organic matters have been accumulated in the water body. In this study, the possible causes of COD concentration increase were evaluated. From the statistics, it can be understood that potent pollutant sources including fertilizer consumption, population, livestock, and carbon uptake have increased. Leaching tests were carried out with soils and biomasses sampled at agricultural-forestry area. From the leaching experiments, leachate qualities as a ratio of $COD_{Cr}/BOD$ were in the range of 2.5-5.0, implying that NOM (natural organic matters) discharged from the forestry area was mainly responsible for the COD accumulation. It can be understood from this research that diffuse pollutants from forestry areas should be controlled properly to reduce COD accumulation in the lakes.

Environmental Assessments of Leachate from Medium Density Fiberboard in a Simulated Landfill

  • This study investigated environmental assessments of leachate containing formaldehyde from medium density fiberboard (MDF) disposed in laboratory-scale simulated landfills. Environmental impact assessment of leachate was conducted by measuring formaldehyde, toxicity, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), bacterial enumeration, and pH. Amount of formaldehyde in leachate from MDF in soil decreased to the level of soil only treatment by 28 days, and toxicity decreased as the amount of formaldehyde decreased. BOD and COD levels in leachate from the treatments containing MDF exceeded permissible discharge levels of BOD or COD throughout the experimental period. The pH levels of all treatment were within permissible discharge range except on day 0. Fewer bacteria were observed in leachate from MDF in soil treatment than other treatments (MDF only, cured UF resin in soil, and soil only). Consequently, the leachate from disposal of MDF in soil detrimentally affect on environment. However, soil buffered formaldehyde leaching and pH on leachate in this study. Waste MDF may be required the pre-water soaking treatment for leaching formaldehyde to reclaim on land.
