Development of mobile counseling program for the promotion of voluntary problem solving of disabled persons and families (장애인과 가족의 자발적 문제해결증진을 위한 모바일 상담 프로그램 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to design and develop the Mobile Disabilities Family Counseling (MDFC) application as a tool to voluntarily solve problems that disabilities family faces in every day life and investigate the effects of the application. To do so, counseling contents were designed and the MDFC application was developed based on ADDIE, an educational program model. Contents consisted of the results of need analysis of people with disabilities and their family and extracted literature review. The MDFC developed has following distinctive characteristics: 1) people with disabilities and their family can voluntarily participate in the MDFC and solve real problems and intrinsic ones; 2) chatting counseling of the MDFC allows client to choose his/her time and chatting program; 3) the MDFC and confirms client's objective data in mobile counseling by connecting and recommending online psychological tests of counselor. The effectiveness of the MDFC contained high satisfaction rate in contents, counseling procedure, problem solving, manual, recommendation, information gathering and showed high level of counseling access. These results of the study also suggest useful development ideas for future mobile counseling programs.

A Case Study on Teaching Mathematical Communication via Web-Based Online Discussion (웹 기반 온라인 토론을 통한 수학적 의사소통 지도에 관한 사례연구)

  • We have web-based online discussion to implement active interaction and a variety of communicative activities. I have gathered the following research questions to study about the meaning of web-based online discussion as a mathematical communication teaching method. First, what changes are there in students mathematical communication ability in web-based online discussion\ulcorner Second, how do students evaluate the web-based online discussion experience\ulcorner In this web-based online discussion, groups of middle school first grade 34 students and each group had chatting at 8 times for 10 weeks. I analyzed what they had discussed by the prints that they had sent me by e-mail. I also surveyed what they had experienced and analyzed them. In this research, the online web based discussion has given positive influence on students' competence of speaking, writing, reading and listening which are crucial to mathematical communication. Students' mathematic thinking power improved and attitudes to mathematics have become more positive.

Information Ethics on the Net among Youths and Related Variables (청소년의 인터넷 정보윤리의식 및 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study is aimed to investigate ethics cognition to information of youths who are main users of computers, but yet not built up the own ethics and the sense of value, as ethical problems are raised in information-oriented society. The research was focused on youths ethics cognition to information according to contact of multimedia pornography, surreptitious use of others and abusion of indecent languages in chatting. The survey was conducted to 520 students from middle and high schools in Jeju region and analyzed Probit Regression. The major results of this study are as follows; First, most of youths possess own-computers, and use Internet. Second, looking into experiencing or not according to sub-spheres of ethics cognition to information, the experience of contacting multimedia pornography was few. but the primary place of using it was a house. Most of youths approach multimedia pornography in awareness of a ban on youths' contact. The experience of surreptitious use of others was less than other spheres, and mainly only once. The number of youths who have an experience of abusing indecent languages was less than that of youths who don't have, but the frequency of was high when the youths have an experience. Third, the experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a significant difference on personal-relative variables such as gender, age, education levels, number of siblings, academic records, personal expenses, relationship with friends. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon family-relative variables such as father's education levels, Job, mother's age, education levels, employment, family type, monthly household expense. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon PC-relative variables such as deviation experience in PC rooms, the experience of request for age confirmation(I.D. card), average use hour of PC rooms. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a more meaningful influence on personal-relative variables and PC-relative variables than family-relative variables.

Preference Analysis for Location Based Services on Smartphone Users; Focusing on the H University Students in Daejeon Area (스마트폰 사용자의 위치기반 서비스에 대한 선호도 분석: 대전지역 H 대학교 학생 설문을 중심으로)

  • The rapid development of information communication technology(ICT) is born opportunities of business venturing and many items of start-up. On the smart media era, there are a lot of location based services. Thus we researched to find which factors impact location based constructs on smartphone environment in this study. We have conducted a preference analysis of the influencing factors for location based constructs for our study. In first steps, based constructs that were already known by empirical studies were categorized information, entertainment, safe&emergency, navigation&tracking and advertising&commerce. In second steps, the preference relationship among the categorized constructs were analyzed using AHP(analytic hierarchy process) technique. Participants of this study were 106 students H university in Daejeon-city during 2014. 10. 11 to 2014. 10. 25. The result of the analysis might be summarized that the chatting(0.170) has the highest preference among the above constructs. Based on these findings, several theoretical and practical implications were suggested and discussed.

Internet Use of Adolescents according to their Life Content and Type (청소년 생활시간의 내용과 유형에 따른 인터넷 이용)

  • This study groups the life content of adolescents according to their time spent during the week and compares their internet use. The data were collected from 2210 middle and high school students, including their life content and hours, and various internet factors such as self-evaluated internet addiction, internet support, internet experience, chatting subjects and the type of internet service. Adolescents were divided into five groups: TV-oriented group, computer-oriented group, peer-oriented group, self-study group and extracurricular institution group. The purpose of internet use, internet experience, chatting subjects, negative aspects of internet and internet addiction were different by adolescents' group type. The peer-oriented group had the highest real self image as opposed to the cyber self image and trusted other's words on the internet. The TV-oriented group had the lowest trust in the internet. The computer-oriented group received the highest internet support and internet experiences, but didn't use the internet for the purpose of information search. The self-study and extra-curricular institution groups used the internet the least, used it to solve stress and were interested in school circles on the internet.

Implementation of CAI Program using Client/Server (클라이언트/서버를 이용한 CAI 프로그램의 구현)

  • The CAI has not been developed with the non-structural form of interactive courseware under classroom network. This study suggests the direction of enhancement for students' achievement through interaction between learner and learner. and teacher and learner applied the effective multi-presentation and 4he introduction of the concept of chatting client/server to class with the use of multimedia package. For the continuous development of courseware and the effectiveness of keeping and repairing materials. this study consists of development of the teaching materials by Powerpoint which is one of the multimedia package presentation tools, and teaching method through discussion by chatting client/server under the classroom network. This new CAI showed the possibility of the open education through discussion and the enhancement of learners' effective achievement in the result of the data got from the classrooms of elementary, middle and high schools.

A Survey Research on the Economic Ethics and Information Literacy (정보소양과 경제윤리의 실태와 경제교육 과제)

  • The topic of this study is a survey research about the economic recognition related to economic ethics and information literacy of students(6,779) extend from elementary school to university. First, for the ability to use computers, it is recognizing that 49.6% of students are normal, 38.6% are superior, and 12.8% are inferior. In part of class, it tends to recognize that it is the superior as the level of school is the lower excepting middle school students. Second, we can find great difference between male students and female students related to purpose of using internet, 79.8% of male students are using computer to play game or entertainment(1), search data or knowledge(2), chatting or massenger(3), 70.1% of female students are using internet to search data or knowledge(1), chatting or massenger(2) and meeting of similar taste. Third, it shows a tendency that the economic activity using internet or cell-phone increases faster as the level of schools is higher. In detail, they primarily use buying or settlement of products(63%), purchasing internet service(20.9%). Fourth, for using illegal CD, not only they didn't feel guilty in all levels of schools, excepting university students, it is showed that the trust of intellectual poverty right is weaker as the level of schools is higher. So, it is becoming serious problems. It seems a task which should be supplemented through economic education of schools in the future.

  • 오늘날 우리는 정보사회가 주는 편리성과 신속성, 다양성을 누리는 반면 그에 따른 윤리적 문제들의 위험성 또한 증가하고 있다. 실시간으로 인터넷을 통해 이루어지는 채팅의 역기능 또한 심각해지고 있다. 이러한 정보사회의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 교육적 방안을 모색해보고자 초등학교에서 실시하는 정보통신윤리 교육과정을 분석하였다. 또한 기존의 학자들이 제시한 정보통신 윤리교육의 목표와 내용을 고찰하여 정보통신윤리교육 교육과정의 바람직한 방향을 제시해 보았다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 정보통신 윤리교육과정의 세부영역인 채팅교육에 적합한 교육목표와 지도내용을 추출하고, 초등학교 채팅교육에 적합한 웹기반 학습자료를 설계하고 구현해 보았다.

  • 최근 WWW상에서 VRML 기반의 3차원 가상공간 구현이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 대부분의 시스템이 VRML기능의 한계로 인해 다수사용자의 참여와 사용자 상호작용 구현 기이 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 기능을 포함하는3차원 채팅시스템을 VRML과 Java를 이용하여 개발하였다. 다수 사용자 참여 기능은 Java를 이용하여 클라이언트/서버 시스템으로 구성하였으며 사용자 상호작용 기능은 3차원 가상공간을 걸어 다니는 효과 (walkthrough)를 제어하기 위한 인터페이스로서 EAI(External Authoring Interface)를 이용하여 구현하였다. 본 시스템에서 각 3차원 가상공간에서의 채팅 지원을 위해 여러개 서버를 둘 수 있도록 구성하여 사용자가 서버를 통해 채팅을 위한 가상공간을 추가 혹은 변경할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 목적의 공동 작업 시스템에서 공통적으로 사용할 수 있으며, 플랫폼에 독립접인 웹 기반의 화이트 보드와 채팅을 설계하고 구현한 내용을 소개한다. 본 논문에서 구현한 시스템은 서버/클라이언트 구조로서, 서버와 클라이언트 모두 JAVA로 구현하였다. 그러므로 플랫폼에 독립적인 서버 시스템(application)을 구성할 수 있으며, 별도의 어플리케이션 없이도 웹 브라우저만 있으면 클라인언트의 접속이 가능하다. 멀티유저와 멀티작업그룹을 지원하기 위해서 서버에는 접속 관리자와 세션 관리자를 두었으며, 각각 쓰레드로 동작하여 서버의 부하를 줄이고, 또한 서버와 클라이언트간의 통신이 실시간으로 이루어지게 하였다. 웹 사이트와 MS Office 문서의 공유, 1:1대화, 작업 포인터 등의 기능을 지원하여 공동 작업의 효율을 증진시키고, 마치 동일한 공간에서 작업하고 있는 듯한 효과를 얻게 하였다.
