  • The electrical drift mobility of charge carrier of Cholesteryl Benzoate was measured by Polarity inversion method in the temperature range 140~ 185$^{\circ}C$. with a view to revealing the mechanism of charge carrier transport. The electrical drift mobility of charge carrier of that increased from 2.5$\times$10-7$\textrm{cm}^2$/V.sec to 2.0$\times$10-6$\textrm{cm}^2$/v.sec as the temperature increased. As a result of the experiment, the mechanism of current transport is believed to be ionic mechanism.

  • Geminate electron-hole recombination in organic solids in the presence of a donor-acceptor heterojunction is studied by computer simulations. We analyze how the charge-pair separation probability in such systems is affected by energetic disorder of the media, anisotropy of charge-carrier mobilities, and other factors. We show that in energetically disordered systems the effect of heterojunction on the charge-pair separation probability is stronger than that in idealized systems without disorder. We also show that a mismatch between electron and hole mobilities reduces the separation probability, although in energetically disordered systems this effect is weaker compared to the case of no energetic disorder. We demonstrate that the most important factor that determines the charge-pair separation probability is the ratio of the sum of electron and hole mobilities to the rate constant of recombination reaction. We also consider systems with mobility anisotropy and calculate the electric field dependence of the charge-pair separation probability for all possible orientations of high-mobility axes in the donor and acceptor phases. We theoretically show that it is possible to increase the charge-pair separation probability by controlling the mobility anisotropy in heterojunction systems and in consequence to achieve higher efficiencies of organic photovoltaic devices.

  • We studied threshold voltages and I-V characteristics. considering short channel effect of the fully depleted thin film n-channel SOI MOSFET. We presented a charge sharing model when the back surface of short channel shows accumulation depletion and inversion state respectively. A degree of charge sharing can be compared according to each of back-surface conditions. Mobility is not assumed as constant and besides bulk mobility both the mobility defined by acoustic phonon scattering and the mobility by surface roughness scattering are taken into consideration. I-V characteristics is then implemented by the mobility including vertical and parallel electric field. kThe validity of the model is proved with the 2-dimensional device simulation (MEDICI) and experimental results. The threshold voltage and charge sharing region controlled by source or drain reduced with increasing back gate voltage. The mobility is dependent upon scattering effect and electric field. so it has a strong influence on I-V characteristics.

  • The space charge behaviors of oil-paper insulation affect the stability and security of oil-filled converter transformers of traditional and new energies. This paper presents the results of the electrical aging of oil-impregnated paper under AC-DC combined voltages by the pulsed electro-acoustic technique. Data mining and feature extractions were performed on the influence of electrical aging on charge dynamics based on the experiment results in the first stage. Characteristic parameters such as total charge injection and apparent charge mobility were calculated. The influences of electrical aging on the trap energy distribution of an oil-paper insulation system were analyzed and discussed. Longer electrical aging time would increase the depth and energy density of charge trap, which decelerates the apparent charge mobility and increases the probability of hot electron formation. This mechanism would accelerate damage to the cellulose and the formation of discharge channels, enhance the acceleration of the electric field distortion, and shorten insulation lifetime under AC-DC combined voltages.

  • We used time-of-flight method to analyze transport properties of charge carrier which is produced by X-ray exposure. It is the research of charge transport and specific property of trap that is performed in direct digital x-ray image receptor. But the results shows us different measurement value of electron and charge drift mobility and it is difficult to precise analysis about charge transport properties and trap mechanism. We measured transit time and drift mobility of charge carriers using time-of-flight method to evaluate the correlation of a-Se thickness change and electric field. We made a testing glass with a-Se of 400 ${\mu}m$ thickness on coming glass using thermoevaporation method and built Au electrode with 300nm, $2{\varphi}$ on both sides of a-Se, As a result of this experiment, electron and hole transit time was each $229.17{\mu}s$ and $8.73{\mu}s$ at $10V/{\mu}m$ electric field and Drift mobility was each $0.00174 cm^{2}/V{\cdot}s$, $0.04584cm^{2}/V{\cdot}s$.

  • In heterojunction photovoltaic devices of $ITO/TiO_2/poly$(3-alkylthiophene)/Au, the photo current was characterized at different temperatures for different alkyl chain lengths and regioregularities: regiorandom, regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene), and regioregular poly(3-dodecylthiophene). The regioregularity and alkyl chain length affected the photovoltaic characteristics due to differences in hole-carrier transportation. The drift charge mobilities of these devices were analyzed by the space-charge-limited current theory using the relation between the dark current and the bias voltage. The photocurrent in the devices based on poly(3-alkylthiophene)s decreased rapidly below the temperature at which the drift charge mobility was $10^{-5}\;cm^2/V{\cdot}s$.

  • In this study, the influence of the intermolecular distance on the charge mobility in a pentacene thin-film was investigated. In order to increase the mobility which depends on the ${\pi}$-overlap between molecules, the intermolecular distance was shortened by compressive force along the conduction channel. Pentacene thin-film was fabricated on flexible substrates bent outward at different radii to stretch the gate dielectric surface and then the substrates were unbent, producing the compressive force to the film. The result showed that the mobility increased proportionally to the strain applied during the pentacene deposition and the molecular packing inside a grain was not optimal for the charge transport.

  • This study conducted a study on a small-capacity PCS using lithium-ion batteries used in personal mobility. Most of the batteries in Personal Mobility only charge with external chargers and are used only as mobile energy sources. However, this paper aims to charge the battery of PM using PV and system power or to use the charged power as a stand-alone power supply. The developed PCS can be operated as a two-channel battery charger/discharger, a battery charger using solar power, and a stand-alone solar inverter depending on the operation method. The validity of the manufactured small-capacity PCS was verified through experiments.

  • Recently, e-Mobility, which is a personal mobility device such as an electric bicycle or an electric scooter, is rapidly emerging. However, since E-Mobility has various voltage systems due to the characteristics of its products, it is essential for companies that operate them to use multiple dedicated chargers. A universal charger capable of charging batteries of various voltage systems with one charger is required to reduce the cost of purchasing and managing multiple dedicated chargers. For this, information on the EOC(End of Charge) is essential. In order to know the EOC, it is necessary to detect the internal impedance of the battery. However, the internal impedance of the battery changes according to various conditions such as SOH(State Of Health), SOC(State Of Charge), and ambient temperature. By observing the change in these parameters, the state of the battery can be diagnosed and the EOC can be predicted. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to analyze the battery's internal impedance and to predict the EOC, in order to acquire information on the EOC of the battery, which is an essential requirement of a universal charger.
