Lately in many cases, Spaces are designed by stimulating user's sensibility, emotion, psychological software over based on the user behavior and purpose of space. Because space is not only practical using and use purpose but also the place for expressing ourselves by experiences. But space is a physical thing. so we need to arrange a structure of abstract and formless source of design by sophisticated grammaticalization. Especially storytelling of that abstract thing have characteristics of relation, process among users and space. because storytelling is focused on the discourse of stories and relationship record of that discourses. So this is used by expression device for user's emotion things and subjects in numerous cases. And storytelling is the basic, important element for user's experience in a space. By the way, Overlapping is also basic element for being possible to make experiences by concrete thing. that is because, Overlapping is layering phenomenon of some objects. Overlapping is made distance, distance make depth, and this relations take us an experience. Finally storytelling, Overlapping and space of experience are relation of cause and effect. So in this thesis, researcher looks for the relation characteristics between storytelling and overlapping by experience. and makes the abstract source into concrete and sophisticated formular.

The Homme Fatale image, which has recently been brought to the fore by mass media in Korea, leads the public fashion with a strong influence on the preference of females who actively participate in men's fashion, and on the "mansumers"(man+consumer) who would use fashion styles as a medium for self-expression. In this study, the concept and fashion style of the homme fatale image expressed in the Korean mass media are exhaustively explored, and then its expressive characteristics are analyzed to determine the trends of men's fashion in Korea. According to the result of this analysis, the homme fatale image represented in the Korean mass media, shows us with its complex nature that it includes the following characteristics: strong and vigorous masculinity, sensuality which emphasizes physical attractiveness, duplicity of gentle sensibility and coldheartedness, and the mysteriousness of maturity and innocence. In conclusion, the homme fatale image can be thought to present fashion styles which emphasize masculinity and physical attractiveness in a variety of ways.

Electric-field coupled power transfer (ECPT) systems employ a high frequency electric field as an energy medium to transfer power wirelessly. Existing ECPT systems have made great progress in terms of increasing the transfer distance. However, the topologies of these systems are complex, and the transfer characteristics are very sensitive to variations in the circuit parameters. This paper proposes an ECPT system with a double-sided LC network, which employs a parallel LC network on the primary side and a series LC network on the secondary side. With the same transfer distance and output power, the proposed system is simpler and less sensitive than existing systems. The expression of the optimal driving voltage for the coupling structure and the characteristics of the LC networks are also analyzed, including the transfer efficiency, parameter sensitivity and total harmonic distortion. Then, a design method for the system parameters is provided according to these characteristics. Simulations and experiments have been carried out to verify the system properties and the design method.

Post-modern society leads us to accept diversity and variability instead of pursuit of the absolute truth, beauty or classical value systems, thus leading to hybrid phenomena. The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristics and expressive effects of hybrid expressions through which to provide conceptual bases for interpreting expanded meanings of fashion illustrations that express aesthetic concepts of hybrid culture. Hybrid refers to a condition on which diverse elements are mixed with each other, so any one element can not dominate others. It is often used to create something unique and new by a combination of unprecedented things. Hybrid can be classified into four categories: temporal hybrid, spatial hybrid, morphological hybrid and hybrid of different genres. Temporal hybrid from a combination of past and present in fashion illustration includes temporal blending by repetition and juxtaposition. Spatial hybrid shows itself in the form of inter-penetration and interrelationship by means of projection, overlapping, juxtaposition and multiple space. Morphological hybrid expresses itself through combination of heterogenous forms and restructuring of deformed forms. Hybrid of different genres in fashion illustration applies various graphic elements or photos within the space, and represents blending of arts and daily living. Such hybrid expressions in fashion illustrations reflect the phenomena of diversity and variability of post-modern society. Hybrid expressions in fashion illustrations predict endless possibility of expressing new images through combining various forms or casual elements and can develop toward a new creative technique.

본 논문에서는 Bio-XML 문서를 효율적으로 객체 데이터베이스에 저장하고, XML 질의에서 주로 사용되는 경로식을 효과적으로 처리할 수 있는 DTD의존적인 객체 데이터베이스 스키마 설계기법을 제안한다. XML DTD와 객체데이터베이스의 스키마는 구조적으로 비슷하고, 객체 데이터베이스의 고유특성인 객체 참조와 집합값 속성은 XML 데이터를 저장하는데 유리하다. 본 논문에서는 객체 데이터베이스의 고유 특성을 충분히 반영하여 두 가지의 스키마 설계기법인 기본적 방법과 인라인 방법을 제안한다. 뿐만 아니라, 각각 설계 기법에 대하여 시스템성능 평가를 수행하였으며, 설계 기법에 따른 공간효율과 시간 효율을 비교 및 분석하였다.

The development in modern world media made information expansion and conversion much easier. These changes in media environment required a lot of companies to quickly respond to the overall environment and come up with new appropriate marketing strategies. Companies use experiential exhibition halls to enhance their images. The goal of the research is to set the basis for digital signage exhibition production characteristics as a spatial mechanism by presenting the need to use the digital signage as a tool. Digital signage expands senses and connects internal and external space. There are many types of digital signage (display, projection, special media, etc) and they are informative, aesthetic, inductive, and amusing. For research methods, Korean companies' exhibition halls sample analysis and surveys were executed to analyze the awareness, expression characteristics, effects, and usage status of digital signage. In conclusion, corporate exhibition halls should: 1. be an interesting and comfortable space that can be used as a communication tool between the company and consumers 2. increase corporate potentials and faith by expanding human senses and inducing new experiences 3. continue to capture the interest of spectators through diversity.

직조는 예술과 기술과의 상호 관계에 관심을 가지고 있는 디자이너에게 이상적인 연구 대상이다. 특히, 이중적인 4종광 이상의 제제에서 만들 수 있는 두 겹 직물로서 여러 가지 목적 및 기능에 따라 광폭 직물, 양면 무늬 직물, 등 특수 직물을 생산하기 위해 산업에서 사용되고 있다. 그러나 가 지니고 있는 매력적인 특징은 미적 이 요구되는 섬유 작업에서 의견로서 다양하게 응용되어질 수 있다. 본 논문은 문헌 자료와 sample 제작을 통해 이중 직의 개념과 종류 및 특징을 설명하였으며 이중 직을 연구한 작가들의 대표적 작품들을 분석함으로써 기법이 가지고 있는 잠재적 특성을 강조하였다. 이중 직 기법은 구조 및 의견 에 따라 다양한 이미지를 나타낼 수 있으므로 직조가 들이 기술에 의한 독특한 표현을 하여 시킬 수 있는 창조 적을 제시하고 있다.

This study aims to discover characteristics of interaction through media artistic space, a field of media investigation, for understanding interaction which represents the age of new media and a view on development of interaction which plays a bigger role in it. To achieve this, a research infrastructure was prepared by having access to expression components of which media are applied in a context of art history on media art. Further, physical interaction, perceptual interaction, and mediational interaction were derived by presenting interaction discussed in the existing various areas from an integrated perspective. Subsequently, in order to understand the contents of interaction and its activity, cases were analyzed through analytic frames consisting of interaction elements of subordinate concepts which each interaction has. For results derived from the research, interaction characteristics of media serve as a leading role in space as they are actively used as a potential tool. Therefore, although interaction has been variously represented, it forms a relationship focused on participants, and in order to build a closer relationship with the participants and further interaction, it will be possibly developed in a manner of thinking.

The purpose of this study is to apply the Trencadis images in Antony Gaudi's work to a design motive and thus provide a new concept for a knitwear design by combining double-knitted fabrics with patchwork applique, taping, stitching and quilting. This study examines the bibliographic text and precedent research related to Antony Gaudi and his works, and analyzes the historical background and formative and stylistic characteristics of Trencadis as it appeared in Gaudi's architectural works. Also this study also examines the characteristics of knitwear and knitting theory while exploring the formative elements and the combined techniques used in modern knitwear design through fashion magazines, medium images, and online sources. The results are as follows: First, Gaudi's work that applies a Trencadis technique has the characteristic of being creative, organic, and environmentally friendly. And in addition, its colorfulness inspires modern fashion design. Second, computerized knitting has been practiced in various ways and the fabrics knitted by both double-knitting jacquard and computerized knitting machines provide a new direction the creation of knitwear. A computerized knitting machine is especially effective for pictorial expression, and is suitable for showing the natural curve of the human body due to its sophistication. Third, as a result of applying a combined technique to the knitting of various fabrics, a combined or fusion design, which is a recent megatrend, is very effective for the design of knitwear while increasing its aesthetic value. Moreover, utilizing techniques that combine patchwork applique, taping, stitching and quilting will create higher value in knitwear. Lastly, with a project of applying combined techniques in the creation of knitwear, designers can become much more creative while taking their imagination much further.

International exchange gets active in nations with the increase of Internet use and heading toward digital age. Thus the communication conveying image of nations effectively plays an important role in an international society. Sports events are regarded as important international exchange events and good opportunities for public relations of one's own country and taken as tools of planting good images in other nations. This study surveyed the concept and history of uniform through the documents and previous studies in order to find the aesthetic characteristics of sportswear uniform applying the image of national ensign and investigates the origin and start time in Korea of selected 6 sports items. As a result of finding the expression way of ensign image and drawing the aesthetic characteristics by analyzing the use and variation of ensign colors, the use of colors other than ensign and reflection of ensign form in collected 60 sports uniforms, this study could draw the symbolical beauty, beauty of variation and beauty of brevity. First, symbolical beauty is the aesthetic characteristics expressing uniforms by using the pattern ensign symbolizes and ensign colors themselves or enlarging a part of ensign. Second, beauty of variation is the aesthetic characteristics creating geometrical new patterns in uniform through the distortion and exaggeration of ensign shape, or transforming the colors themselves of ensign. Third, beauty of brevity is the aesthetic characteristics using other colors only as decorative factor while applying the main colors of ensign to the most part of uniform, or unifying the uniforms with only one color of ensign. As a result of survey, the proportion of the symbolical beauty was highest in summer season and beauty of brevity and beauty of variation followed and the proportion of beauty of variation was highest and the symbolical beauty and beauty of brevity followed after that in winter season. This study found the way of expressing image of one's own country in sports uniform through this article, expecting the exact recognition on sports uniform and the diversity of sports uniform design in which the images of the nation are expressed more variously.
