This study is about finding out characteristic of recognition individual housing in seaside of Donghae. To accomplish this purpose, we survey the 150 houses related to the landscape. Thus the major analysis is to take basic data, such as image(modern, western, traditional, etc) about exterior form of housing corresponding to the landscape. The result summarized as follows First, the elements for the characteristic of recognition were exterior material finish, exterior color, roof type, roof material finish, window size, roof slope, area of wall vs roof. Second, the image of traditional housing was very insufficient to plan landscape of housing with design elements. This research suggests that landscape housing of future is to be environmental landscape design and the proper design is to be various considering not only user's preference but also control of landscape.

The purpose of this study is as follows. 1) An element to organize the landscape of an apartment entrance space and setting up, a characteristic of landscape through the actual condition analysis. 2) The characteristic of the type analysis and classified the shape of the entrance as the type. 3) The degree to like the landscape analysis through the making up question. The result of this research is as follows. The entrance of the apartment complex of 71 as of 92 and set an element to organize the landscape and the characteristic of landscape through the frequency analysis and divided an entrance landscape of apartment into 4 types through the cluster analysis. An entrance landscape of apartment types of the entrance is classified as follows. 1) Type I: A model wall-fence type, 2) Type II: The side constructing a building-fence type, 3) type III: The side constructing a building-retaining wall-mixing tree type, 4) type IV: The moulding constructing a building-a retaining wall type.

Chang'an, an ancient historical city with its construction basement remains. Chinese Traditional Landscape Culture comes from the ancient civilization of the Yellow River and the environment of the central Shaanxi plain forms its ideology characteristic. Basing on the fast urbanization and growth of economies, there is a growing emphasis on Urban Landscape Cultural Heritage. The spatial pattern and traditional landscape should be protected and exhibit because it reflects the original characteristic and implied meaning of Chinese traditional landscape culture. This paper presents the case of Huaqing Palace(華淸宮) scenery area as an example; evaluate the value of its original landscape culture, showing the way of the conservation and regulation.

This study focuses on the application of landscape planning(i.e. including rural landscape character area designation and rural landscape planning etc.). That application of landscape planning provides the probably most operable and comprehensive version of what is generally accepted by the discipline. According to the planning discipline the schemes of planning are to; Firstly, we derived the improvement of landscape and the methods of landscape characterization subsequent to analyze the present condition and grasp the landscape resources in Yesan via reviewing the current study and field survey. Secondly, in order to achieve environmentally friendly rural landscape plan and characteristic rural landscape creation, we planed the draft landscape area such as woodland, hydrology area, urbanized area, rural communities, etc. which was classified by sphere of life moreover, we planed partly outdoor facilities, road and colour suchlike. Thirdly, we tried to seek the programme of conservation and utilization for scenic and characteristic rural landscape area via rural landscape character area designation. Lastly, it is proposed that rural landscape planning lead to inhabitant participation, system improvement, subject performance for carrying out efficient rural landscape planning.

The landscape of rural settlement incurred the loss and worsening of its main feature in the modernization which was progressed by the inner and outer cause - the growth of urbanization and improvement of living and dwelling environment. This study investigates the visual characteristic of land-use in rural and analyzes relations between visual quantities by land-use and a pre(essence of landscape. And it is suggested the basic data of a planning and a management in rural by making clear characteristics and influences of landscape preference elements The visual characteristic of landscape elements that is based on the rural land-use is classified harmony, variety, variables and particulate. And it is classified the object of landscape by recognizing images of landscape produce space, natural environment, settlement place and cultivated land of a special products. In the analysis of landscape preference, it appears that the harmony has a great influence on a suburban, a rural, a mountainous district, and a hamlet in psychology elements and the volume of forest area in visual elements. As a result, it requests rural scenes in harmony with the natural environment. So, the landscape planning which has the regional development and the identity as the rural settlement can be represented by the preservation and development of regional feature.

It has been a common misconception that landscape architecture is a gardening, landscape gardening or planting. However, landscape architecture is entirely different from gardening, landscape gardening and planting when it comes to professional category. Landscape architecture is a interdisciplinary science to improve a quality of citizen's life through analysing social culture, psychological configuration, aesthetic characteristic and integrating them in human society. Today's landscape architecture is a interdisciplinary technology including ecological and artistic value to create most of outdoor space used by human through preserving nature and enhancing the environment. The field has been changed constantly in the flow of the period and social development as providing green network system, recreation area, ecological environment in the city.

인간 활동이 생태계의 훼손과 생물다양성의 변화에 미치는 영향을 경관생태학적 측면에서 분석하고 해석하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라의 35개 농촌마을을 대상으로 자연생태계의 교란정도를 알 수 있는 귀화식물분포현황을 조사하였다. 대상지에 대한 토지이용 현황도를 제작하고 이를 바탕으로 경관지수를 이용하여 경관생태학적특성을 정량화하였다. 이를 바탕으로 대상지의 경관지수와 귀화식물 분포특성의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 경관지수는 공간분석 프로그램인 FRAGSTATS를 이용하여 산출하였으며 귀화식물의 분포특성은 Urbanization Index와 Naturalization Index를 이용하였다. 연구 결과 귀화율과 패치밀도, 귀화율과 가장자리밀도, 귀화율과 면적가중평균형태지수 등이 양의 상관관계를 나타냈으며 귀화율과 핵심면적백분율, 귀화율과 평균핵심지역 등이 음의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

Urban scape of Gyeongju is overlapped by periods. So, a study of each Periodical urban scape is required to understanding the present urban scape. All it requires study is on account of different a characteristic and the meaning of the scape. Especially, unified Silla period was most flourished in all time, has Abundant image of urban scape, heavily influences present urban scape. The research was proceeded through the classifying the concept of Urban form and the basic ideology and adopting the representative landscape at that time with the literatures and maps, on Unified Silla Period. And then tried to find out the identity of landscape with the link between the concepts of the representative landscape and that of Urban form in chronological order. The identity of historical landscape in Gyeongju on Unified Silla Period from the result of research has been influenced on by the connection with natural environment, urban form revealed by grid, space organized by vigorously heading up the inside, and Buddhistic ideology and esthetics.

In this paper, the intelligent landscape lighting power control and monitoring system with solar sell generator equipment is proposed. The first, the intelligent landscape lighting power controller is designed using the fuzzy logic control method. And the fuzzy logic controller is used to save power consumption for various reference intensity of the illumination. The second, the GUI monitoring system is presented. It has control and display faculty. And the practical experiment device is used to evaluate the performance criteria of the proposed intelligent landscape lighting power control system with the solar cell power generation equipment. From the experiment results, we present the property of proposed fuzzy controller such as steady state error, the tracking and power consumption characteristic for the reference intensity of illumination. And also we show the superiority of power control as well as the characteristic of GUI monitoring system in the proposed system.

Amenity landscapes in rural areas are becoming increasingly important as a resources to vitalize the rural areas. Befitting the times, The objectives of this study were 1) Extracting Landscape Evaluation photos: research preferences of 93 Photos taken from 15 site and analyze the possibility of Classification. select 12 photos for Image survey. 2)Adjectives select: Preliminary investigation into the 45 selected adjectives and adjectives by taking expert group of 21 adjectives were selected. Through reliability analysis, 19 adjective pairs were used to survey and factor analysis of images of landscape photographs. 3)Psychological characteristics of agricultural landscape survey and analysis: Psychological research on landscape photos and factor analysis, the agricultural production landscape to explain the 4 factors were extracted. And, each factor was discussed in relation to agricultural landscape.
