The purpose of this study is to examine the state of the character fashion which is worn everyday by people regardless of their sex, class, and age after the 1960's, and to look at its significance. Under the influence of mass media, TV, film, comic and popular music exercised its power over the modern living after the 1960's. Such culture has its character in youth, aspiration of wide spread and overflow of the visual image. While active life style and increase of time spent on sports and leisure created the casual trend in fashion. In addition to Pop Art leads to the usage of sign and symbol on clothes, and this created a trend called 'character fashion'. Character fashion can be divided into 'motive' and 'expression'. Motive then is segmented by the 'person' that includes an impersonated figure and 'symbol' of picture or figure with a special meaning. However, expression can be classified by 'one's belonging' which can be a sports team, school or a group. Also, by the 'message' of the phrase or letter. The meaning contained in character fashion by the various motive and expression can be classified as unisex, ego screaming, and escapism.

In game characters, the direction of character design varies depending on the expression or production method. It is necessary to perform game character personality design by reflecting the importance. This study derives the importance of the game character personality model using AHP for the efficient decision and presents game character personality design check tool. In design elements, the importance of external appearance was the highest in all of style. In personality factors, action in 3D realism, external appearance in 3D animation, and speech in 2D animation were the most important.

The bodice of character is classification in three period. The Fitted bodice in bustle style is characteristics, and is named as Cuirass Bodice. The Cuirass Bodice form the ground work in modern costume. So the purpose of this study is to understand background on the Cuirass Bodice, and is to analize periodical character. The Method of This study refer to literature, used illustration, and make actually Cuirass Bodice.

The continuous development of information technology had led people into the era of new media. New technologies, in its rapid development, have also produced impacts on traditional visual communication design. As an integral element in traditional visual communication design, Chinese characters have no longer confined to traditional paper media but turned to dynamic video space. In light of the changing globalization tendency, dynamic Chinese characters are producing increasing influences in motion graphics. It is an inevitable trend in character typography design that visual communication will make a breakthrough in the traditional expression boundary. This paper analyzes the influence of dynamic Chinese characters upon motion graphics in view of typography and style, and puts forward with the typography design that can conform to the development of the time, spread information and express emotions in a better way.

The purpose of this study was to apply the learning clinic program to the maladjusted children to help the cognitive processing style, sense type and learning strategy. The results were as follows. First, the cognitive processing style of low-grade elementary school children is divided into the concept of sequential low-order style, which analyzes information sequentially and consecutively, concrete thinking style that processes real and direct information coming in from outside, and invisible principle or information. The abstract cognitive thinking style improved after the process before the program proceeded. However, There was no meaningful result in the simultaneous processing cognitive style which had excellent intuition and emotion and likes change. Second, the temporal lobe in which the linguistic activity is viewed, heard and spoken in the sensory type, the function of the occipital lobe in which the character or the language is processed is improved, but the function of the parietal lobe in moving and manipulating the body is not significant. Finally, factors that contribute to learning such as sincerity, learning initiative, study method, study habits, and concentration are helpful in learning and school life.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of body shape variation of the clinical characteristics of patients who suffered from Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. The data were collected from the spine clinics who were all thirty healthy make and female, from April, 1995 to May, 1998. The results of study were as follows ; 1. Total patients statistics mean age is 19years and 21 female, 9 male. 2. We divided 30 patients into four types(I, II, III, IV) by Evaluation form. As the result, Lots of patients included type IV. 3. Body type(IV) : Deformity style of Rt. shoulder & Lt. Pelvis forward style. 4. Body type IV showed a specific character in their life style. When the right shoulder forwarded and left pelvis is ant. tilting. The patients moved always their Lt. lower extremity first in Rt. lower extremity support the weight of body. And moved always their Rt. upper extremity in Lt. upper extremity support the weight of body.

This study aims to investigate the relationships among sensation seeking tendency and shopping orientation and the preferences of fashion styles of female college students. The sensation seeking was found related with shopping orientation, and style preference. 'Seeking change' tendency and 'seeking unusual sensation' are related to 'hedonic shopping orientation', while 'seeking adventure/satisfying curiosity' is related to 'impulsive shopping orientation'. As 'seeking adventure/satisfying curiosity' increased, the preference of 'vivid character style' increased. The cross-effect of seeking sensation and shopping orientation affected style preference. Allowance and residential location affected the seeking sensation, shopping orientation and preference styles, while monthly spending on clothing and residential type affected shopping orientation only. The students with large allowance showed high 'seeking adventure/satisfying curiosity', high 'brand loyalty and impulsive' shopping orientation, and high preference in 'accessory and conspicuous style'. The students residing in Inchon showed high 'seeking unusual sensation', and 'practical shopping orientation', and low 'accessory and conspicuous style' than Seoul students.

The purpose of this study is to understand what the Glam Style is, focus on the movie "Velvet Goldmine". The Glam Style is refered early 1970s Glam rockers' costume, typified by silver lurex, corksoled platform, men in make-up, personified, for example, by David Bowie, Marc Bolan, New York Dolls, Roxy Music and Iggy Pop. To approach the Glam Style comprehensively, I have divided the formative background of Glam Style into the improvement technology, the advent of the young generation and the diffusion of mass media, the rock music fever and influence on Pop art. Following is the result of analyzing of the character in the movie. First, Brian Slade has the flamboyant transsexual image by skin-tight space suit, glitter pants, lurex, satin and sequined stretch fabrics, vivid color, gauze make-up, feather boa. Second, Curt Wild expresses the outrageous sexual image by black leather jacket, emphasized black eyes make-up. Third, Mandy Slade appears the exaggerated and frivolous image by gold leopard patterned one piece, fur coat, ornamented with beads, tropical make-up, spangles and the costume jewelry. Forth, Auther Stuart has the complex image by black leather jacket, velvet jacket, skin-tight bold shirt, glitter pants, glitter make-up, silk scarf, cherry-red sunglasses. The characteristics meaning of Glam Style implied in this formative characteristic could be presented as the experimental expression of androgynous, the hordes of outrageous alien and kitsch parody.

Park Jung-hoon started his acting career in movie since undergraduate year at Chungang University, Drama and Cinema school, and till now he is a very active and nationally beloved actor in Korea. However, to this day there isn't any study about him, so this study might be the right time to take a look at his acting style again. This report will find and review his distinctive patterns in acting, and roughly assess the character expression from character, Dong-chul, in the movie, My Dear Desperado; which has been evaluated as the best movie to show the inner side of character. His acting pattern is segmented by 3 parts; Park Jung-hoon style comical acting, expression of macho side of masculinity, and subtle inner emotion expression acting. Then his acting technique is analyzed from character Dong-chul in the movie, My Dear Desperado, which he acted out change in character from low-class nonsense gangster to a good-hearted man flawlessly. In addition this report will try to find his acting technique that made impossible distance between the characters possible. This study hopes to start and continue other studies that discuss many movie actors' and actresses' different character expression method and their training technique, also wish many actors and actresses could find helpful in their acting training.

Expression of woman characters in fusion traditional dramas plays a role of making the progress of dramas not bigoted and new. Especially, woman characters have a high weight as a heroine by an increase in their image in fusion traditional dramas. Expression of characters harmonizing modern with tradition has also given a help in reflecting a trend of the present times. Hair style and face makeup of woman characters in fusion traditional dramas are in the process of fusionization getting an effect from postmodernism. They are expressing the hair style of symbolization modern elements of hair style to traditional hair styles. They also expressed a neutral image with faded hair styles in the shaggy cut style and dye of neoplaticism. Neo-hippie style was changed into the style of naturalism and nationalism and the hair style braided in various branches as the one of Indians was changed into a primitive and national feature. It is producing a new style by permitting even a long-hair permanent wave hair style. Expression of straight hair style, a long-hair shaggy & bulging wave style and a hair style of neoplaticism, was distinguished. In the side of face makeup, they expressed its luxurious and splendid style by attaching great importance to its luster and are exposing images of characters by a smoky makeup emphasizing eye lines. Their face makeup was almost never separated from present dramas as using pearl shadow in a glossy lips makeup and color, which made it possible to express it more dramatically in fusion traditional dramas than in present dramas. In the event of the makeup element of fusion traditional dramas permitting diversity, the character makeup of fusion traditional dramas made a foundation to show people diverse elements of makeup by mix & match a present elements and past elements of historical research, which made it possible to express a unique makeup or a special makeup. Diverse makeup expressions were limited by reflection of illumination even in the existing videos. Therefore, 'Fusion' made it possible to express it more freely in fusion traditional dramas than in present dramas.
