카오스 회로 동기화 (Synchronization of Chaos Circuit)

  • Chua's circuit is a simple electronic network which exhibits a variety of bifurcation and attractors. The circuit consists of two capacitors, an inductor, a linear resistor, and a nonlinear resistor. In this paper, a transmitter and a receiver using two identical Chua's circuits are proposed and synchronizations of a T or ${\pi}$ type power line are investigated. Since the synchronization of the power line system is impossible by coupled synchronization, theory having both the drive-response and the coupled synchronization is proposed. As a result, the chaos synchronization has delay characteristics in the power line transmission system caused by the line parameters L and C

  • This paper was constructed to investigate strange attractor in considering speech which is regarded as chaos in that the random signal appears in the deterministic raising system. This paper searches for the delay time from AR model power spectrum for constructing fit attractor for speech signal. As a result of applying Taken's embedding theory to the delay time, an exact correlation dimension solution is obtained. As a result of this consideration of speech, it is found that it has more speaker recognition characteristic parameter, and gains a large speaker discrimination recognition rate.

기체-고체 유동층에서 Chaos 파라메타에 의한 흐름영역의 해석 (Analysis of Flow Regimes by Using Chaos Parameters in Gas-Solid Fluidized Beds)

  • 기체-고체 유동층 시스템에서 유동화 흐름영역을 결정할 수 있는 방법들에 대하여 고찰하였다. 기체-고체 시스템의 흐름영역 해석을 위한 상태변수로 상승관내에서의 압력요동을 측정하여 유동화 흐름영역을 해석하였으며, 차압변환기로부터 얻은 압력요동의 자료를 기존의 방법인 평균 및 표준편차를 사용하여 해석하였을 뿐만 아니라, 상관차원이나 Kolmogorov 엔트로피와 같은 chaos 해석 방법을 이용하여 기체-액체 유동층에서 흐름영역을 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 기체-고체 유동층에서 유동화 영역은 평균과 표준편차와 같은 통계적 방법에 의해 결정할 수 있었을 뿐만 아니라, 상관차원과 Kolmogorov 엔트로피와 같은 Chaos 해석방법으로도 유동화영역을 구별할 수 있는 특성으로 사용할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 불확실한 $L\ddot{u}$ 카오스 시스템의 동기화를 위한 적응 퍼지 bilinear 동기화 제어 설계 방법을 제안한다. $L\ddot{u}$ 카오스 시스템은 알려지지 않은 파라미터를 가지고 있다고 가정한다. 먼저, 불확실한 $L\ddot{u}$ 카오스 시스템을 TS 퍼지 bilinear 모델링을 통해 재구성한다. 불확실한 파라미터를 가진 TS 퍼지 bilinear $L\ddot{u}$ 카오스 시스템을 기반으로한 적응 퍼지 bilinear 동기화 제어 기법을 설계한다. Lyapunov 이론을 통해서 설계된 적응 퍼지 bilinear 동기화 제어 기법을 통한 TS 퍼지 bilinear $L\ddot{u}$ 카오스 시스템과 제안된 슬레이브 시스템 간의 오차 다이나믹 시스템의 안정성을 보장하고 이를 통해서 불확실한 파라미터를 추정 할 수 있는 적응 규칙을 유도한다. 제안된 동기화 제어 기법을 시뮬레이션을 통해서 그 명확성을 보이고자 한다.

  • 본 논문은 탈근대화의 영향으로 등장한 카오스 이론의 시각으로, 수학과 미술의 관련성을 연구하였다 중세 말에서 르네상스로 접어드는 13-14세기, 르네상스의 개화기인 15, 16세기 그리고 16세기말에서 바로크 시대로 접어드는 세 시기에 시대정신이 역동적 체계에서 어떻게 구축되는지를 조망하였다. 시간의 흐름과 더불어 역동적으로 변모해가는 문화와 역사는복잡계의 전형이기 때문이다.

Global Chaos Synchronization of WINDMI and Coullet Chaotic Systems using Adaptive Backstepping Control Design

  • In this paper, global chaos synchronization is investigated for WINDMI (J. C. Sprott, 2003) and Coullet (P. Coullet et al, 1979) chaotic systems using adaptive backstepping control design based on recursive feedback control. Our theorems on synchronization for WINDMI and Coullet chaotic systems are established using Lyapunov stability theory. The adaptive backstepping control links the choice of Lyapunov function with the design of a controller and guarantees global stability performance of strict-feedback chaotic systems. The adaptive backstepping control maintains the parameter vector at a predetermined desired value. The adaptive backstepping control method is effective and convenient to synchronize and estimate the parameters of the chaotic systems. Mainly, this technique gives the flexibility to construct a control law and estimate the parameter values. Numerical simulations are also given to illustrate and validate the synchronization results derived in this paper.

카오스 분석을 통한 용접 품질 정량화 (Weld Quality Quantification through Chaotic Analysis)

  • Irregular fluctuation of penetration depth in CW single mode fiber laser welding is analyzed statistically and chaotically. Among various chaos theories, one of the basic concept referred as Lyapunov exponent is applied to the analysis to quantify the irregularity of penetration. Especially, maximal Lyapunov exponent (MLE) is known as the representative value indicating chaotic degree of the system dynamics. MLE calculation method of experimental data is applied to longitudinal spiking defect in fiber laser weld. Laser power modulation is suggested as a remedy then the computed MLE value is compared to CW case. It is shown that the adoption of chaos theory, MLE computation, can be used as a measurement standard to prove the validity of the solutions to prevent the unexpected chaotic behavior of weld through this work.

  • In this paper, an integrated chaos analysis system for EEG (ICASE) is designed for the analysis of brain functions based on the chaos theory. Nonlinear dynamic characteristics of EEG such as 3-D attractor, Poincare section, correlation dimension, Lyapunov exponents and power spectrum are extracted by this system. The results show that chaotic attractors which indicate the presence of deterministic, dynamics of complex nature could be identified from a routine EEG recording for normal and pathological activity. This proves that the chaotic analysis of EEG may be an appropriate tool in the classification of brain activity and thus a possible diagnostic tool.

Improving the Diffusion of the Stream Cipher Salsa20 by Employing a Chaotic Logistic Map

  • The stream cipher Salsa20 and its reduced versions are among the fastest stream ciphers available today. However, Salsa20/7 is broken and Salsa20/12 is not as safe as before. Therefore, Salsa20 must completely perform all of the four rounds of encryption to achieve a good diffusion in order to resist the known attacks. In this paper, a new variant of Salsa20 that uses the chaos theory and that can achieve diffusion faster than the original Salsa20 is presented. The method has been tested and benchmarked with the original Salsa20 with a series of tests. Most of the tests show that the proposed chaotic Salsa of two rounds is faster than the original four rounds of Salsa20/4, but it offers the same diffusion level.
