종합편성채널의 모 브랜드의 영향과 브랜드 확장에 관한 연구 (A Study on the influence of Parent brand and brand extension of the 4 comprehensive programming channels)

  • Comprehensive programming channels are based on recognition of the parent company, their parent newspaper has increased brand awareness. In this paper, the comprehensive channels to look at the structure of the channel brand architecture, a certain brand of newspapers and comprehensive channels have a effect on the formation of the image of the channel according to the future of the brand extension strategy for MPP. Referring to the brand architecture, which reveals the structural system of the brand, it is argued that TV Chosun and MBN take the integrated corporate brand strategy, while JTBC tries to mix and balance the brands of the parent corporation and its own independent one. Exceptionally, Channel A doesn't take a name of its parent corporation 'Dong-A'. It is argued that the comprehensive programming channels utilize and take the parent corporate brand, mixed brand, and independent brand in accordance with circumstances of their own parent corporates. Their parent brand of comprehensive channels give viewers a positive image and awareness of comprehensive channel brand. while building its own channel images, TV Chosun and Channel A Conservative extension of a certain brand marketers to be bound by the channel's image. Brand extension of comprehensive channels is to have the strength of their entry into the genre that is most likely higher.

유통경로 유형별 모 브랜드태도와 브랜드확장 평가도의 관계 (Relationships of Parent Brand Attitude and the Evaluation Level of Brand Extension by Distribution Channel Types)

  • 본 연구는 브랜드확장 평가에 대한 범주화 평가과정 모델(categorical evaluation processes model)을 참고하여 유통경로 유형별 광고태도(Aad), 점포태도, 브랜드태도(Ab), 브랜드확장 평가도, 확장제품 구매의도들 간의 구조적인 관계에서 영향력의 차이를 실증적으로 검증하려 하였다. 연구 결과, "유통경로 유형 모 브랜드태도가 브랜드확장 평가도와 확장제품 구매의도에 미치는 영향의 정도에 차이가 있을 것이다." 라는 여섯 가지 가설 중에서 점포태도와 브랜드태도와의 관계, 브랜드태도와 브랜드확장 평가도와의 관계, 브랜드확장 평가도와 확장제품 구매의도와의 각 이론변수간의 관계에서만 각 유통경로 유형별로 영향력이 다르게 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 유통경로 유형별 브랜드확장평가는 모 브랜드태도와 브랜드확장평가도와의 관계를 소비자관점에서 구조적으로 분석하여야 하며 이는 브랜드확장 제품 유통경로구조 개선에 중요한 정보를 제공하고 브랜드확장 성공률을 높일 수 있다.

  • 본 연구는 소비자 기반 브랜드 자산 모형에 기반한 기존의 미디어 브랜드 확장 모형을 응용하여 이러한 브랜드 확장이 모 브랜드(Parent Brand)에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 선행연구들을 바탕으로 확장 전 모 브랜드 평가, 브랜드 포트폴리오 품질 변량, 지각된 브랜드 확장 수, 모 브랜드와 확장된 브랜드 간 지각된 적합성, 브랜드 확장상품 평가 등이 확장 후 모 브랜드 평가에 영향을 미치는 것으로 연구모형을 구성한 뒤 구조방정식모형을 이용하여 검증하였다. 분석결과, 확장 후 모 브랜드 평가에 확장 전 모 브랜드 평가, 브랜드 포트폴리오 품질 변량, 적합성, 브랜드 확장상품 평가가 유의미한 영향을 미친 반면 지각된 브랜드 확장 수의 영향력은 유의미하지 않았다. 본 연구를 통해, 첫째, 수직적 브랜드 확장에서 적합성은 확장상품 평가에는 정적인 영향을 주지만, 확장 후 모 브랜드 평가에는 부적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 브랜드 포트폴리오 품질 변량은 적합성과 확장상품 평가, 확장 후 모 브랜드 평가에 부적인 영향을 준다는 것을 새롭게 알아내었으며, 모 브랜드 평가가 브랜드 포트폴리오 품질 변량에 부정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였다. 셋째, 모 브랜드 미디어에 대한 평가가 적합성에 부적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 발견하였다.

Performance Analysis of CMAP-WDMA MAC Protocol for Metro-WDMA Networks

  • A channel-shared modified accelerative pre-allocation wavelength division multiple access (CMAP-WDMA) media access control (MAC) has been proposed for metro-WDMA networks, as an extension of modified pre-allocation wavelength division multiple access (MAP-WDMA) MAC protocol. Similarly, CAP WDMA as an extension of accelerative pre-allocation wavelength division multiple access (AP-WDMA) MAC protocol. Performance of CMAP- and CAP-WDMA was extensively investigated under several channel sharing methods (CSMs), asymmetric traffic load patterns (TLPs), and non-uniform traffic distribution patterns (TDPs). The result showed that the channel utilization of the CMAP-WDMA always outperforms that of CAP-WDMA at the expense of longer channel access delay for channel shared case while CMAP-WDMA provided higher channel utilization at specific network conditions but always shorter channel access delay than CAP-WDMA for non-channel shared case. Additionally both for CMAP- and CAP-WDMA, determining an effective CSM is a critical design issue because TDPs and TLPs can be neither managed nor expected while CSM is manageable, and the CSM supporting the best channel utilization can be recommended.

다채널시대 농업전문방송채널에서의 공익성 실현 탐색 연구 (A Study on the Actualizing the Public Interest of the Agricultural Broadcasting Channel in the Multi-Channel Age)

  • Since the 1960s in Korea, major broadcasting channels broadcasted farm television programs, however, airing of these programs were reduced in the 1990s. This was due to the declining number of farmers, and the low popularity rating of farm television programs. To cope with the situation, agriculture businessmen, farmers, and the officials concerned tried to acquire the independent farming television channel in cable television and satellite television, In 1998, one cable television channel started broadcasting, while another channel in satellite television began its broadcasting in 2001. One of the major concerns of the people in the broadcasting was actualization of the public interests in the new media multi-channel age. Recognizing this point, the study explored a few areas of concern such as conceptualizations of the public interest of the people in the digital age, examination of the surroundings of program production and marketing, and survey the media use behavior of target audience - rural residents; In the concept of the public interest, there are two points of view; market focused and democratic principle oriented. As the digitalization of broadcast advances and the logic of economics prevails, it is difficult to offer the public broadcasting service to farmers, however, democratic principles should be more emphasized. The rural resident prefer major terrestrial television channel to cable television and satellite television channel, and in media use behavior, the medium of major terrestrial television would be more useful for farm broadcasting.

The Analysis of the Nano-Scale MOSFET Resistance

  • The current drive in an MOSFET is limited by the intrinsic channel resistance. All the other parasitic elements in a device structure playa significant role and degrade the device performance. These other resistances need to be less than $10{\%}-20{\%}$ of the channel resistance. To achieve the requirements, we should investigate the methodology of separation and quantification of those resistances. In this paper, we developed the extraction method of resistances using calibrated TCAD simulation. The resistance of the extension region is also partially determined by the formation of a surface accumulation region that forms under the gate in the tail region of the extension profile. This resistance is strongly affected by the abruptness of the extension profile because the steeper the profile is, the shorter this accumulation region will be.

  • After late 1980s, new approach is needed for satisfying with people's various information needs and better quality of life on Korean extension service. The United States began modern extension service at first and has influenced many countries. Cooperative extension service has helped people practically by searching into people's problem and developing various channel to diffuse. Cooperative extension adopts changes in extension service environment and puts them to use. Based on the extension service in the United States, following recommendations were suggested; 1) carrying out extension service to meet the changing needs of people, 2) strengthening the extension function of agricultural Colleges, 3) review of cooperative agricultural research and extension, 4) developing programs and management, 5) accumulation agricultural information and utilizing them.

Numerical analysis of viscoelastic flows in a channel obstructed by an asymmetric array of obstacles

  • This study presents results on the numerical simulation of Newtonian and non-Newtonian flow in a channel obstructed by an asymmetric array of obstacles for clarifying the descriptive ability of current non-Newtonian constitutive equations. Jones and Walters (1989) have performed the corresponding experiment that clearly demonstrates the characteristic difference among the flow patterns of the various liquids. In order to appropriately account for flow properties, the Navier-Stokes, the Carreau viscous and the Leonov equations are employed for Newtonian, shear thinning and extension hardening liquids, respectively. Making use of the tensor-logarithmic formulation of the Leonov model in the computational scheme, we have obtained stable solutions up to relatively high Deborah numbers. The peculiar characteristics of the non-Newtonian liquids such as shear thinning and extension hardening seem to be properly illustrated by the flow modeling. In our opinion, the results show the possibility of current constitutive modeling to appropriately describe non-Newtonian flow phenomena at least qualitatively, even though the model parameters specified for the current computation do not precisely represent material characteristics.

효율적 Cyclinc Extension을 갖는 Zipperqkdtlr의 VDSL 모뎀 (A Zipper-based VDSL Modem with an Efficient Cyclic Extension)

  • In this paper we propose an efficient implementation technique for cyclic extension in VDSL(Very High bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line) systems using Zipper duplexing and analyze its performances under typical telephone channel environments. In Zipper-based VDSL systems each DTM(discrete-multitone) block is appended by both cyclic prefix(CP) and cyclic suffix(CS). The CP is inserte to prevent both intersymbol interference (ISI) and iterchannel interference (ICI) while the CS is appended to ensure orthogonality between the upstream and downstream carriers thus preventing near-end crosstalk (NEXT). However in order to implement the CP in the transmitter side of the VDSL system an additional hardware is required to append the latter part of each DMT symbol to the beginning of the DMT symbol. In this paper we propose a VDSL system with Zipper duplexing using only CS to reduce hardware complexity (memory and processing delay) required for implementation of CP. It is shown by computer simulation that the proposed approach has the same capacity under typical channel environments as the previous Zipper-based VDSL system using both CP and CS. even with a significantly lower hardware complexity.
