  • The purpose of this study is to comprehensively consider the challenge contents enjoyed based on SNS through the concept of Gamification and MDA framework. Regardless of the top-down and bottom-up divisions, in common, the participants show an active figure leading the creation and enjoyment of contents. As a result of analyzing the challenge contents using the MDA framework, the mechanics of 'relative level', 'challenge with expressive purpose', and 'Paidia rules' were found. This leads to the dynamics of participants who express an inner sense of achievement such as 'selection and competition for better expression' and 'selflessness and superiority', creating an environment where they can continuously participate in the challenge contents. Lastly, looking at the aesthetics of the challenge contents, it can be seen that participants are actively forming a play culture that leads the creation and enjoyment of contents. This phenomenon has resulted in breaking down the hegemony of content creation and distribution, which was the responsibility of society in the field of information transmission and commercial advertising.

  • Tour industry has been growing with increasing of people leisure time quantitatively as well as qualitatively. Especially, region tourist industry shows rapid growth because of the development of transportation and communication. Tourist contents that representing the region have been developing briskly. However there are many nominal tourist contents have just region differentiation with same attribute and composition. It has to be consider about tourist first not a contents provider or a developer. To be memorable tourist contents and to connect to consumption, understanding about tourist is needed. So 'Experience' will be standards when tourist contents is planned. In that sense, experience 4factors from Experience Economy and Challenge-skill model from Flow will be frames for giving shape to develop tourist contents. Experience 4factors from Experience Economy suggests 4factors for the superb enjoyment to tourists, and Challenge-skill model from Flow proposes balanced contents for understanding tourists. They will contribute to suggest planning frames for sustainable tourist contents and it lead to tourists' reinstation.

  • This study proposed a soft skill integration activity for online EFL classrooms and investigated student responses. Toward this end, this study recruited 54 college students taking an English Presentation and Discussion class in South Korea. Participants were assigned into high and low-proficiency groups based on the Test of English for International Communication. This study employed questionnaire, class video recordings, and interview to obtain responses. Moreover, problem-based learning with challenge questions was applied to develop soft skills in online synchronous classes. Responses were examined in terms of whether a difference existed according to English proficiency. Major findings of this study were as follows. Regardless of proficiency levels, participants reported improvements in their IT and problem-solving skills and exhibited positive attitudes toward live online presentations via Zoom. However, this study observed significant differences in communication and teamwork skills, perceived learning, and confidence. Interviews with students with low English proficiency levels revealed that they were negatively affected by the lack of non-verbal cues, mechanical skills, and socialization time provided by online classes. Based on these results, pedagogical implications and directions for future studies are discussed.

  • Recently, as mobile internet users grow rapidly, mobile internet companies are experiencing a fierce competition to capture new customers. Under this business environment, they try to identify factors that make people use mobile internet in order to satisfy customers by providing better and diversified services. There has been enormous effort to analyze customers' behavior in choose and use mobile internet services. However, there is no one best methodology to identify factors to attract customers yet. Thus, the study applied the flow construct proposed by Csikszentmihalyi(1977) and expanded by Hoffman and Novak(1996) to identify environmental factors of internet which has impact on users' mobile internet usage. To implement the study, the following activities have been done: literature reviews on service acceptance model and flow structure, questionnaire survey, suggestion of the flow model on mobile internet, and hypothesis test. For the study, 242 out of 307 samples collected were statistically analyzed using SPSS 10.0, AMOS 4.0 statistics package. The findings of this study are as follows: First, mobile internet environment factors influencing on challenge of flow antecedent were media characteristics(use of convenience, transmission quality), contents characteristics(uniqueness, timeliness, simplicity). Second, mobile internet environment factors influencing on skill of flow antecedent were contents(uniqueness, timeliness, simplicity), charge(definiteness and diversity of charge), usage(security, instant connectivity). Third, challenge of flow antecedent had a significant effect on flow of mobile internet usage. But it was not statistically significant that skill has an influence on flow. This study discovered the relationship between mobile internet environment factors(media characteristics, contents characteristics, charge characteristics, usage characteristics) and flow experience of mobile internet users which would be a valuable insight for marketing strategies. Results shows that challenge of flow antecedent have a significant impact on flow experience in mobile internet environment. Additional, media characteristics, contents characteristics of mobile internet environment factors is positively correlated with challenge of flow antecedent. In other words, mobile internet companies should provide customers with diverse service and take a challenging attitude to get customers show aggressive attitude in mobile internet usage.

  • This paper presents a solution of the 'Quick, Draw! Doodle Recognition Challenge' hosted by Google. Doodles are drawings comprised of concrete representational meaning or abstract lines creatively expressed by individuals. In this challenge, a doodle is presented as a sequence of sketches. From the view of at the sketch level, to learn the pattern of strokes representing a doodle, we propose a sequential model stacked with multiple convolution layers and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) cells following the attention mechanism [15]. From the view at the image level, we use multiple models pre-trained on ImageNet to recognize the doodle. Finally, an ensemble and a post-processing method using the minimum cost flow algorithm are introduced to combine multiple models in achieving better results. In this challenge, our solutions garnered 11th place among 1,316 teams. Our performance was 0.95037 MAP@3, only 0.4% lower than the winner. It demonstrates that our method is very competitive. • This research describes the comparison broker's role and its effectiveness measurement framework of comparison shopping. We verified seller-led comparison challenge method provide comparison information of products to buyers more efficiently. Buyer's satisfaction of purchase (S) can be defined as an interactive function between seller's competitiveness vector (P) of products that supplied to the market, and buyer's informed level vector (B) of products that is known from a lot of sources. Then the buyer's informed level can be changed through the information analysis among products by transformation process using comparison matrix (C). So the role of comparison shopping is to construct a comparison matrix and to serve it to the buyers, and to change the buyer's informed level. The changed informed level influences a buyer's satisfaction, that improved satisfaction of purchase is defined as the effectiveness of comparison shopping. As a perfect construction and usage of comparison matrix is impossible, a more efficient method for improving the comparison effectiveness is the comparison challenge. This research shows that comparison shopping makes 9.32% and comparison challenge makes 19.11% enhancement of comparison effectiveness through television market data experiments.
