Recently reliability Improvement and certification are considered as important issues by world-wide leading and highly qualified companies in advanced countries. In Korea, from a few years ago, the policy for reliability certification newly has been driven to improve product competitiveness in part and material industry. As yet the reliability certification is local and domestic, it is necessary to develop local certification system to global certification system. Reliability certification system is composed of accreditation body, testing laboratory and reliability assurance. In this paper, we review the reliability certification system and its application in Korea and the current research trends in advanced countries. Finally we propose some suggestions for the eliability certification system to be an international standard.

It is widely recognized that ISO 9000 certification bring some profits, such as enhancement of quality system and some concerns. Since one of the major concerns is cost for certification, this paper considers the cost for ISO 9000 certification in Japanese companies through review some winning reports and case studies. Specifically, a model that describes the certification activities and their cost is derived through reviewing some winning reports in order to give a framework of cost estimation. Based on the model, we estimate the certification cost in an electric division of a company through an interview survey. Furthermore, we focused on the cost for promotion and administration as a cost for the sake only certification, because these activities will not be needed if a company does not implement ISO certification. It is concluded that this cost may vary approximately 300,000-700,000 (US$) per certification by the interview and telephone surveys to Japanese steel companies.

This study is on the establishment process of Certification Plan of KPP small aircraft development, domestic BASA(Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement) shadow certification project. For the development of certification plan incorporations process understanding applicable regulations, selection of certification basis, definition of means of compliance and establishment of compliance checklist. On the basis of this process, we develop type certification procedure suitable for domestic small aircraft.

In relation to a certification system recently, it is coming out complains about make a rule of thumb certification, problems of after-service and duplication with government certifications. Also there is confusion in operating certification system to lack of properly rule to international standard. These impose a heavy burden on company in terms of times and costs and enhance competitiveness. Nevertheless, the survey was not built yet for the status and problems of the cooperation group standards certification System. So, this study purposes that research on the actual condition and development of operational guide for cooperation group standards certification system. In addition it ultimately improve the certification system for reliability and international competitive power. For more detail on this study, it would be considered conformity assessment, domestic/international conformity assessment and certification criteria. Also comparing survey result on the actual condition with international standards, develop operational guidelines to meet international standards.

This study is aimed to measure the cause and effect relationship on observation on KS evaluation by surveys related to KS certification, opinions and satisfaction on KS certification, expected effect through KS certification, profitability performance, financial performance, and productivity performance based on department heads and acting chiefs working on KS certification, to SMEs which have acquired KS certification mark in Korea. This study aims to examine how KS certification is impacting on companies' expected effects, management performance and development by examining the realistic effects of KS certification in various aspects and expected effects on companies.

This study is to clarify the actual conditions of high school of environment friendly architecture per ecological environment elements through extracting ecological environment elements which is possible to analyze in quantity certification standards of environment friendly architecture. As the method of the study, First, certification as an examination on certification system of environment-friendly architecture, summary of certification system of environment friendly architecture and certification high school, ecological environment elements which is possible for quantitative analysis of ecological environment certification standards were extracted. Second, actual condition of ecological environment elements per non-certification high school by collecting actual data of certification schools environment friendly architecture were analyzed and the results are as the follows. The average of ecological area ratio was 17.8 percent in case of non-certification school facilities it was analyzed that the natural based green area ratio was 17.5 percent, continuous green axis length ratio was 19.0 percent and roof green garden area ratio was 0 percent.

In this paper, we propose the AI certification standardization activities for systematic research and planning for the standardization of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI). The activities will be in two-fold. In the stage 1, we investigate the scope and possibility of standardization through AI reliability technology research targeting international standards organizations. And we establish the AI reliability technology standard and AI reliability verification for the feasibility of the AI reliability technology/certification standards. In the stage 2, based on the standard technical specifications established in the previous stage, we establish AI reliability certification program for verification of products, systems and services. Along with the establishment of the AI reliability certification system, a global InterOp (Interoperability test) event, an AI reliability certification international standard meetings and seminars are to be held for the spread of AI reliability certification. Finally, TAIPP (Trustworthy AI Partnership Project) will be established through the participation of relevant standards organizations and industries to overall maintain and develop standards and certification programs to ensure the governance of AI reliability certification standards.

The certification scheme for best company has been implementing in order to stimulate the investment of private consulting company to reduce GHG emission. This study was conducted to set up the certification scheme, to suggest process, criterion, institute, committee which are necessary for the evaluation of certificate. The purpose of this study is to analyze consumer preference for fish farm HACCP certification using conjoint analysis. This study used raw flatfish product to evaluate the fish farm HACCP. In this study, 500 consumers were surveyed using panel survey and stratified sampling. In the recognition analysis, the farm HACCP certification system was found to be highly recognized by consumers. It can be seen that the brand assets accumulated by existing food and agricultural HACCP certification were transfered to the fish farm HACCP and absorbed. Consumers perceived fish farm HACCP certification as similar one with existing food and agricultural HACCP. Conjoint analysis evaluated three levels factors. The attributes and levels evaluated were : price(25,800 won, 28,400 won, 31,000 won), certification(fish farm HACCP, seafood traceability, and non certified), and origin(domestic, JEJU, and WANDO). The important levels were in order of price(40.8%), certification(30.2%) and origin(29.0%). We found that consumers give higher utility to fish farm HACCP certification compared with non certified and seafood traceability certification. Market simulation results showed that the fish farm HACCP product has 12%p higher market share than non certified products. Seafood traceability certification showed 4.6%p higher market share than non certified products.

Electronic transaction using electronic documents be carried without direct person to person meeting, there is the possibility to use other's identity illegally without notice and to verity authenticity of transaction. It is very hard to find out that the electronic documents on the process of submitting is forged documents or not and also has much difficulty in maintaining transmitting secret. Therefore, to solve such problems on electronic transactions, certification system with cryptography skill are inevitably necessary. Also there is needed legal base in the electronic document as functional equivalent of the paper document. Recently there are so many commercial certification service provider(CPS) such as Identrus, Bolero, TEDI but their establishment of CPS, certification process, guideline and so on are different each CPS. Therefore, this kind of situation can make user confuse. To introduce and develop the electronic certification in the international electronic commerce not domestic electronic commerce, it need to authorize and operate certification authority under the uniform regulation base. But, because the laws and guidelines that related to electronic certification system are different among the nations and international organizations, it need to compare laws and guidelines. In conclusion, the most important thing to resolve problems surrounded certification and develope certification system in the international electronic commerce make uniform rule of international electronic certification to recognize internationally from each nation or at least, need to harmony laws and guideline in each nations.
