Contemporary ceramic art as a new art form, how to convey the visual information of contemporary ceramic art works to the audience through the design and display of exhibition space is the primary problem of exhibition space design. Based on the current lack of research on contemporary ceramic art exhibition space design, this study focuses on the characteristics of contemporary ceramic art exhibition space design, in order to achieve the best exhibitions effect of contemporary ceramic art. Firstly, summarize the previous research and examine the "Spirit of Porcelain" -2021 Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennial Exhibition held by the Art Museum of Jingdezhen Ceramic University. From the perspective of human factors engineering, combined with comparative analysis of the overall spatial layout and display space form, the scientific unity of the overall layout of the display space and the flexibility and sustainability of the exhibition space form design are obtained. The theoretical knowledge obtained in this study provides theoretical guidance and important practical significance for the design of contemporary ceramic art exhibition spaces; Simultaneously contributing to the development of contemporary ceramic art exhibition space design in China and even globally.

This study is about the residential district structure of Gyeryong ceramic art village in Gyeryong ceramic art village is a residential district for potters who succeed to and develop Gyeryong ceramic art. The external appearance of Gyeryong ceramic art village seems like being fixed and simplified. The creative space is either detached or attached to a living room. The relation between inner and outer space is that is directly connected to a garden. In the characters of major spaces, the formation of a workshop is the most important part of a house. And, an exhibition equipment and an oven are connected to the workshop. According to the study, a house, which is designed without an architect's help is simple and has a different form from a house designed by an architect.

Modern figurative work is designed to have more creativity and characteristic traits by pure thought of the formative ceramic arts. In compliance with the demand which is various the design development could be satisfied an individuality and a taste is become accomplished. In this view, this study looks over expressive aspect of Cubism to present partition as a independent formative ceramic arts is able to contribute emotionally to our whole lives. In this procedure, this work is produced to express a three-dimensional effect and a spatial effect, approaching a figurative side. This is to overcome the limitation of Cubism art expressed in a two-dimensional surface in spite of its multi-dimensional observation of a given object. Accordingly, this study tries approaching pre-understanding of expressive aspect of Cubism which was the important turning-point in 20c art and expansion of the modern ceramic art field before producing the work. This study shows the possibility to become a creative and practical ceramic art work, approaching the new point of view breaking from the established conception. Consequently, the field of ceramic art could be expanded to a part of modern ceramic art as an object of study in art of life.

This study is an introductory study on Convergence of Traditional Chinese Paper-cutting Art and Contemporary Ceramic Decoration. As a part of Chinese folk art, now newly developed by the convergence of contemporary ceramic ar, today it promotes artists' creativity and find a alternative way for ceramic art. This mainly explore transition of 2 dimentional paper-cutting art into ceramic art. As a part of convergence art, this study suggest combination of 4 elements yin-yang-true-false with understanding of its history and contemporary status, and towards aesthetic values.

There are invisible defects by naked eyes in ceramic material images such as internal stomata, cracks and foreign substances. In this paper we propose a method to detect and extract such defects from ceramic pipe weld zone by applying ART2 learning. In pre-processing, we apply Ends-in Search Stretching to enhance the intensity and then perform fuzzy binarization with triangle type membership function followed by enhanced ART2 that interacts with random input patterns to extract such invisible defects. The experiment verifies that this proposed method is sufficiently effective.

The purpose of this study is to attempt a convergent study by analyzing modern funk ceramic artworks through 'Irony', which was mainly used in rhetoric and literature. The irony has come to modern times and has embraced the type of irony by Jung Keut-Byul, a literary critic who has discovered that the classifications and definitions are different from each other, and who has solved these problems and has newly classified the irony (the irony of oxymoron, the irony as a counterstatement, the irony of dramatic turn, the irony as a poetic truth) as a framework for analyzing the works of 20th century punk potters. As a result, the formative language found in funk ceramic art had many similarities with the irony of duality of surface and reality, and its humorous and comic character was more prominent than the heavy, melodramatic tone shown in literature. It was also found that the media characteristics and craft properties of ceramic art, such as clay and glaze, have become the drivers for ceramic sculptors to draw attention in funk art.

It is said that ceramic arts which reflects the sprit of the age and culture is one of the representative cultural assets in Korea. Ceramic arts has the longest tradition and it has been used in our everyday life from a historical perspective. Unfortunately, most textbooks we use nowadays just show some art works for appreciation. It is impossible to teach unique techniques of ceramic arts with those textbooks. Traditional culture is not considered as a main part of educational contents but surrounding elements. Therefore it is hard for students to learn about our traditional culture deeply and it is also difficult to know the importance of the ceramic arts in secondary schools. Through the education of ceramic arts students can understand our traditional culture and they can also experience the formative arts by using plane and dimensional techniques. Teachers have to focus on historical background, types, functions, and sense of beauty of ceramic arts when they teach students in school. Students can use the knowledge in their daily lives. The education of ceramic arts encourage students to create new culture for ceramic arts.

This study is on the application of ceramic body and art glaze by using coal ash according to each wt%. Body color was turned red and dark as increasing coal ash contents in the body and art glaze because of the effect of noncombustible carbon in $Fe_2O_3$ and coal ash. Not only pore and black core were generated but also absorptance and shrinkage were increased as increasing coal ash contents. The glaze of coal ash 20 wt% showed blue absorption band, turned red band as increasing coal ash contents, $Al_2O_3\;to\;SiO_2$ ratio got lower and became mat because glaze is estranged from $Al_2O_3\;to\;SiO_2$ mol ratio 1:10 of transparent glaze as increasing coal ash contents. Glaze showed unstable dissolving condition in the more coal ash contents.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the historical background and characteristics of pop art style and motif expressions in the works of artists by analyzing the theoretical study of pop art and analyze how the expression characteristics are applied to ceramic works. As a result of the analysis of the work, various images of everyday objects in popular culture are expressed in various ways such as bright and colorful colors, silk screen, lettering, photo montage, cartoon expression, object, collage, decoupage, It is believed that the art of ceramics will be created as a creative work that reinterprets the artistic value rather than reproducing the art based on the technique of pop art. Genres of the modern arts are expanding the overlapping area between the arts ; ceramics and weaving considered as crafts are devel-oped to the ceramic art and the fiber art, re-spectively. This trend has been also applied to the clothing part, which produced several new terms such as‘art to wear’,‘unwearable art’,‘clothing sculpture’and so on. As following this tendency, the unwearable art is dwelling on the boundary of painting, fiber art and scul-pture, and the clothing sculpture comes from the combination of fiber art and sculpture. While Issey Miyake's dress made of bamboo and Foltuny's pleats dress associated with Greek stone-column introduce the sculpture to the functional fashion design, the works of clothing sculpture become the arts by applying the sculpture to the non-functional unwearable art. Although the clothing sculpture is an interesting subject to be studied continuously for its effect on the contemporary clothing part, it is valuable enough as an unwearable art and sculpture respresenting the artist's concept under the circumstance that the boundary between arts and design is no longer clear, i.e., the clothing and the sculpture come across their regions each other. Furthermore, the clothing sculpture has its own value as a metapor exposing idea, feeling and spirit of the artist in the genre of the unwearable art. With a view point of the abstract clothing concept, the clothing sculpture has been taking the role expanding the clothing to the world of fine art.
